Total Ayaat: 99

15.1

الٓر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَقُرْءَانٍ مُّبِينٍ

Alif-Laaam-Raa; tilka Aayaatul Kitaabi wa Qur-aa-nim Mubeen

Alif-Lam-Ra These are the auyaats of the scripture and Qur’an a plain.

Alif-Lam-Ra Ye aayate hai kitab aur roshan quran ki

15.2

رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ مُسْلِمِينَ

Rubamaa yawaddul lazeena kafaroo law kaanoo muslimeen

Perhaps those who disbelieved wish if that they were Muslims.

Bahut aarzuwen karenge kafir kaash musalman hote

15.3

ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا۟ وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟

وَيُلْهِهِمُ ٱلْأَمَلُ ۖ

فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

Zarhum yaakuloo wa tatamatta'oo

wa yulhihimul amalu

fasawfa ya'lamoon

leave them to eat and let them enjoy

and be preoccupied with hope,

will they come to know.

Unhe choorho ke khaye aur barte

aur umeed unhe khel me dale

to ab jaanna chahte hai.

15.4

وَمَآ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُومٌ

Wa maaa ahlaknaa min qaryatin illaa wa lahaa kitaabum ma'loom

and not we destroy from a town but there was for it decree scripture a known.

Aur jo basti hum ne halak ki us ka ek jaana huva navishta tha.

15.5

مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ

Maa tasbiqu min ummatin ajalahaa wa maa yastaakhiroon

any nation can not advance its term nor delay it.

Koyi girooh apne waada se aage na barhe na peeche hate.

15.6

وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِى نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ

إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ

Wa qaaloo yaaa aiyuhal lazee nuzzila 'alaihiz Zikru

innaka lamajnoon

and they say: O you to whom was sent down unto him the Qur’an,

truly you are a mad man.

Aur bole ke aey woh jin par quran utra

beshak tum majnoon ho.

15.7

لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ

إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

Law maa taateenaa bil malaaa'ikati

in kunta minas saadiqeen

if you not bring to us angels,

if you are of the truthful.

Hamare paas farishte kyu nahi laate

agar tum sache ho.

15.8

مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ

وَمَا كَانُوٓا۟ إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ

Maa nunazzilul malaaa'i kata illaa bilhaqqi

wa maa kaanooo izam munzareen

we not send down the angels except with the truth

so not they would be then given respite.

Hum farishte nahi utarte mager haq ke sath

aur woh utre to unhe mohlat na mile.

15.9

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا ٱلذِّكْرَ

وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ

Innaa Nahnu nazalnaz Zikra

wa Innaa lahoo lahaa fizoon

truly we have down the Qur’an

and surely we for it guardians.

Be shak hum ne utara hai ye quran

aur beshak hum khud is ke nigahbaan hai.

15.10

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِى شِيَعِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Wa laqad arsalnaa min qablika fee shiya'il awwaleen

and indeed we send before you amongest the communities sects of old.

Aur beshak hum ne tum se pehle agli ummato me rasool bheje

15.11

وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ

Wa maa yaateehim mir Rasoolin illaa kaanoo bihee yastahzi'oon

and not came to them any prophet rasool, but they did mock at him.

Aur unke paas koyi rasool nahi aata magar us se hansi karte hai.

15.12

كَذَٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُۥ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

kazaalika naslukuhoo fee quloobil mujrimeen

thus do we let it enter into the hearts of the sinners.

Aise hi hum is hansi ko un mujrimo ke dilo me raah dete hai.

15.13

لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۖ

وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Laa yu'minoona bihee

wa qad khalat sunnatul awwaleen

they would not believe in it

and indeed has gone example of the ancients.

1. Woh us par iman nahi late aur aglo ki raah pad chuki hai.

15.14

وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ

فَظَلُّوا۟ فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ

Wa law fatahnaa 'alaihim baabam minas samaaa'i

fazaloo feehi ya'rujoon

and even if we opened to them a gate from the heaven,

and they were to continue there to ascend.

1. Aur agar hum un ke liye asman me koyi darwaza khol de ke din ko us me chadhte.

15.15

لَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَٰرُنَا

بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ

Laqaaloo innamaa sukkirat absaarunaa

bal nahnu qawmum mashooroon

they would say: surely have been blocked blurred our eyes,

nay but we are people bewitched.

1. Jab bhi yahi kehte ke hamari nigaah bandh di gayi hai balke hum par jaadu huva hai.

15.16

وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا

وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ

Wa laqad ja'alnaa fissamaaa'i buroojanw

wa zaiyannaahaa linnaazireen

and indeed we have put in the heaven big stars,

and we beautified it for the beholders.

1. Aur beshak hum ne aasman me burj banaye aur use dekhne walo ke liye arasta kiya.

15.17

وَحَفِظْنَٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَٰنٍ رَّجِيمٍ

Wa hafiznaahaa min kulli Shaitaanir rajeem

and we have protected it from every devil shaytaan outcast.

1. Aur use hum ne har shaitaan mardood se mahfooz rakha.

15.18

إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسْتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمْعَ

فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ

Illaa manis taraqas sam'a

fa atba'ahoo shihaabum mubeen

except him who gains hearing steals

he is pursued by a clear flaming fire.

1. Magar jo chori chupe sunne jaaye to uske peeche padta hai roshan shola.

15.19

وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَٰهَا

وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ

وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ

Wal arda madadnaahaa

wa alqainaa feehaa rawaasiya

wa ambatnaa feehaa min kulli shai'im mawzoon

and the earth we spread it

and placed therein firm mountains

and caused to grow therein of each thing balanced in due proprtion.

1. Aur hum ne zameen phailayi aur us me langar dale aur us me har cheez andaze se ugayi .

15.20

وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ

وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ

Wa ja'alnaa lakum feehaa ma'aayisha

wa mal lastum lahoo biraaziqeen

and we have made provision for you therein means of living

and for those whom you not for whom provide.

1. Aur tumhare liye us me roziya kardi aur woh kardiye jinhe tum rizq nahi dete.

15.21

وَإِن مِّن شَىْءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ

وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ

Wa in min shai'in illaa 'indanaa khazaaa 'inuhoo

wa maa nunazziluhooo illaa biqadarim ma'loom

and there is not a thing but with us are the stores thereof

and we not send it down except in a measure known.

1. Aur koyi cheez nahi jiske hamare paas khazane na ho aur hum use nahi utarte magar ek maloom anzaar se.

15.22

وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلرِّيَٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ

فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً

فَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُمُوهُ

وَمَآ أَنتُمْ لَهُۥ بِخَٰزِنِينَ

Wa arsalnar riyaaha la waaqiha

fa anzalnaa minas samaaa'i maaa'an

fa asqai naakumoohu

wa maaa antum lahoo bikhaazineen

and we send winds fertilizing

then cause to decend from they sky water

and we gave it to you to drink

and not you for it are able to store.

15.23

وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ

وَنَحْنُ ٱلْوَٰرِثُونَ

Wa innnaa la nahnu nuhyee wa numeetu

wa nahnul waarisoon

and certainly we it is who give life and cause death

and we are the inheritors.

15.24

وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ

وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَـْٔخِرِينَ

Wa la qad 'alimnal mustaqdimeena minkum

wa laqad 'alimnal mustaakhireen

and indeed we know the first generations who have passed away of you

and indeed we know the present late generations who will come afterwards.

15.25

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ

إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ

Wa inna Rabbaka Huwa yahshuruhum;

innahoo Hakeem 'Aleem

and verily your Raub is he who will gather them,

truly he is The Ultimately Wise One The Omniscient.

15.26

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلْصَٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ

Wa laqad khalaqnal insaana min salsaalim min hama im masnoon

and indeed we created man from clay of mud altered into shape.

15.27

وَٱلْجَآنَّ خَلَقْنَٰهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ

Waljaaanna khalaqnaahu min qablu min naaris samoom

and the jinn we created it afore time from fire of smokeless flame.

15.28

وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ

إِنِّى خَٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًا

مِّن صَلْصَٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ

Wa iz qaala Rabbuka lilmalaaa' ikati

innee khaaliqum basharam

min salsaalim min hama im masnoon

and remember when said your Raub to the angels;

verily I am going to create a man,

from clay of mud altered into shape.

15.29

فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ

وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى

فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ

Fa izaa sawwaituhoo

wa nafakhtu feehi mir roohee

faqa'oo lahoo saajideen

so when I have fashioned him

and breathed into him of My soul

then fall down for him prostrating.

15.30

فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ

Fasajadal malaaa'ikatu kulluhum ajma'oon

So prostrated the angels all of them together.

15.31

إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ

Illaaa ibleesa abaaa ai yakoona ma'as saajideen

Except iblis satan, he refused to be with the prostrators.

15.32

قَالَ يَٰٓإِبْلِيسُ

مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ

Qaala yaaa Ibleesu

maa laka allaa takoona ma'as saajideen

Allah said: O Iblis satan!

What is for you? that not you are with the prostrators.

15.33

قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ

خَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن صَلْصَٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ

Qaala lam akul li asjuda libasharin

khalaqtahoo min salsaalim min hama im masnoon

Iblis said: not I am to prostrate to a man human being

whom you created from clay of mud altered into shape.

15.34

قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ

Qaala fakhruj minhaa fa innaka rajeem

Allah said: “then get out from here for truly you are outcast.”

15.35

وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ ٱللَّعْنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ

Wa inna 'alikal la'nata ilaa Yawmid Deen

and the curse truly shall be upon you till the day when of recompense.

15.36

قَالَ رَبِّ

فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ

Qaala Rabbi

fa anzirneee ilaa Yawmi yub'asoon

Iblis said: “O my Raub

give me then respite.” Till the day the dead will be resurrected.

15.37

قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ

Qaala fa innaka minal munzareen

Allah said: “then truly you are of those who are reprieved”

15.38

إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ

Ilaa Yawmil waqtil ma'loom

Till the day of the known time.

15.39

قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى

لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ

وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

Qaala Rabbi bimaaa aghwaitanee

la uzayyinaana lahum fil ardi

wa la ughwiyan nahum ajma'een

Iblis said: O my Raub! Because of what you misled me,

I shall indeed adorn for them on the earth

and I shall indeed mislead all them.

15.40

إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ

Illaa 'ibaadaka minhumul mukhlaseen

“Except your slaves among them the chosen sincere.”

15.41

قَالَ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ عَلَىَّ مُسْتَقِيمٌ

Qaala haaza Siraatun 'alaiya Mustaqeem

Allah said: “ this is the straight way to me.”

15.42

إِنَّ عِبَادِى لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَٰنٌ

إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلْغَاوِينَ

Inna 'ibaadee laisa laka 'alaihim sultaanun

illaa manittaba'aka minal ghaaween

certainly, My slaves you shall not have over them any authority

except those who followed you of the ones who go astray.

15.43

وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

Wa inna jahannama lamaw'iduhum ajma'een

and surely hell is the promised place for them all.

15.44

لَهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَٰبٍ

لِّكُلِّ بَابٍ مِّنْهُمْ جُزْءٌ مَّقْسُومٌ

Lahaa sab'atu abwaab;

likulli baabim minhum juz'um maqsoom

it hell has seven gates

for each door of them is a portion assigned.

15.45

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ

Innal muttaqeena fee Jannaatinw wa 'uyoon

truly the pious people will be amids gardens and water springs.

15.46

ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَٰمٍ ءَامِنِينَ

Udkhuloohaa bisalaamin aamineen

enter therein in peace and security.

15.47

وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِى صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ

إِخْوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ

Wa naza'naa ma fee sudoorihim min ghillin

ikhwaanan 'alaa sururim mutaqaabileen

and we shall remove what is in their breasts any injury hard feeling.

So they will be brothers on thrones facing each other.

15.48

لَا يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ

وَمَا هُم مِّنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ

Laa yamas suhum feehaa nasabunw

wa maa hum minhaa bimukhrajeen

not will touch them therein fatigue,

nor shall they of it be removed.

15.49

نَبِّئْ عِبَادِىٓ أَنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

Nabbi' 'ibaadeee annneee anal Ghafoorur Raheem

O Muhammad! Inform My slaves that I, I am The Forgiving One The Most Merciful.

15.50

وَأَنَّ عَذَابِى هُوَ ٱلْعَذَابُ ٱلْأَلِيمُ

Wa anna 'azaabee huwal 'azaabul aleem

and that My torment it is the most painful torment.

15.51

وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَن ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ

Wa nabbi'hum 'an daifi Ibraaheem

and tell them about guels of Ibrahim Abraham.

15.52

إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ

فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَٰمًا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمْ وَجِلُونَ

Iz dakhaloo 'alaihi

faqaaloo salaaman qaala innaa minkum wajiloon

when they entered upon him,

and said: “peace Salam.” He said: “indeed we are afraid of you.”

15.53

قَالُوا۟ لَا تَوْجَلْ

إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ

Qaaloo la tawjal

innaa nubashshiruka bighulaamin 'aleem

they said: do not be afraid.

We truly bring glad tidings to you of a son boy knowledgeable.

15.54

قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِى

عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِىَ ٱلْكِبَرُ

فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ

Qaala abashshartumoonee

'alaaa am massaniyal kibaru

fabima tubashshiroon

Abraham said: do you give me glad tidings?

When that has overtake me old age

so of what you give glad tidings!

15.55

قَالُوا۟ بَشَّرْنَٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ

فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْقَٰنِطِينَ

Qaaloo bashsharnaaka bilhaqqi

falaa takum minal qaaniteen

they said we give you glad tidings in truth

so not be of the desparing.

15.56

قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ

Qaala wa mai yaqnatu mir rahmati Rabbiheee illad daaaloon

Abraham Said: “and who despairs of the Mercy of his Raub except those who are astray.”

15.57

قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

Qaala famaa khatbukum aiyuhal mursaloon

Abraham said: “then what is your mission O you prophets Al-Mursaleen angels.”

15.58

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ

Qaaloo innaaa ursilnaaa ilaa qawmim mujrimeen

they said: “truly we have been sent to a people who are criminals sinners.”

15.59

إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

Illaaa Aala Loot; innaa lamunajjoohum ajma'een

Except the family of lot we truly shall save them all.

15.60

إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَآ ۙ

إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ

Illam ra atahoo qaddarnaaa

innahaa laminal ghaabireen

except his wife. We have decreed

that she is of those who remain behind to be destroyed.

15.61

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ءَالَ لُوطٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

Falamma jaaa'a Aala Lootinil mursaloon

then when the prophets Al-Mursaleen angels came to the faimly of Lot.

15.62

قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ

Qaala innakum qawmum munkaroon

Lot said: “verily you are people unknown to me.”

15.63

قَالُوا۟ بَلْ جِئْنَٰكَ

بِمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ

Qaaloo bal ji'naaka

bimaa kaanoo feehi yamtaroon

they said: Nay, but! We have come to you

with what they were in it doubting.

15.64

وَأَتَيْنَٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ

وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ

Wa atainaaka bilhaqqi

wa innaa lasaadiqoon

and we have brought you the truth

and we truly tell the truth.

15.65

فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ

وَٱتَّبِعْ أَدْبَٰرَهُمْ

وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ

وَٱمْضُوا۟ حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ

Fa asri bi ahlika biqit'im minal laili

wattabi' adbaarahum

wa laa yaltafit minkum ahadunw

wamdoo haisu tu'maroon

then travel with your family in part of the night

and follow their backs.

And not look back of you anyone

but go on where you are ordered.

15.66

وَقَضَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْأَمْرَ

أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ

Wa qadainaaa ilaihi zaalikal amra

anna daabira haaa'ulaaa'i maqtoo'um musbiheen

and we made to him this decree,

that! The root of those sinners was to be cut off in the early morning.

15.67

وَجَآءَ أَهْلُ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ

Wa jaaa'a ahlul madeenati yastabshiroon

and came the inhabitants of the city rejoicing.

15.68

. قَالَ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيْفِى فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ

Qaala inna haaa'ulaaa'i daifee falaa tafdahoon

lot said: “verily these are my guests so not shame me”.

15.69

وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ

Wattaqul laaha wa laa tukhzoon

and beware Allah and not disgrace me.

15.70

قَالُوٓا۟ أَوَلَمْ نَنْهَكَ عَنِ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

Qaalooo awalam nanhaka 'anil 'aalameen

they said: “did not we forbid you from entertaining the people?”

15.71

قَالَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِىٓ إِن كُنتُمْ فَٰعِلِينَ

Qaala haaa'ulaaa'i banaateee in kuntum faa'ileen

lot said: these are my daughters wedlock them if you must act the validate.

15.72

لَعَمْرُكَ إِنَّهُمْ لَفِى سَكْرَتِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

La'amruka innahum lafee sakratihim ya'mahoon

By your life truly they were in their wild intoxication wandering blindly.

15.73

فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ

Fa akhazat humus saihatu mushriqeen

so, overtook them awful cry at the time of sunrise.

15.74

فَجَعَلْنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا

وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

Faja'alnaa 'aaliyahaa saafilahaa

wa amtamaa 'alaihim hijaaratam min sjijjeel

and we turned it upside down,

and rained unto them stones of baked clay.

15.75

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ

Inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil lilmutawassimeen

surely in this are signs auyaats for those who see.

15.76

وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٍ مُّقِيمٍ

Wa innahaa labi sabeelim muqeem

and verily they the cities were on a road established.

15.77

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Inna fee zaalika la Aayatal lilmu'mineen

Surely therein is indeed a signs auyaats for the believers.

15.78

وَإِن كَانَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأَيْكَةِ لَظَٰلِمِينَ

Wa in kaana Ashaabul Aikati lazaalimeen

and surely the owners dwellers of the wood were wrong-doers.

15.79

فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ

وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ

Fantaqamnaa minhum

wa innahumaa labi imaamim mubeen

so, we took vengeance of them

and they are both on a clear road way.

15.80

وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْحِجْرِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

Wa laqad kazzaba ashaabul Hijril mursaleen

and verily denied dwellers of the rocky tract the prophets.

15.81

وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَكَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ

Wa aatainaahum Aayaatinaa fakaanoo 'anhaa mu'rideen

and we gave them our signs auyaats but they were to them averse.

15.82

وَكَانُوا۟ يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا ءَامِنِينَ

Wa kaanoo yanhitoona minal jibaali buyootan aamineen

and they used to hew out from the mountains homes dwellings secure.

15.83

فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُصْبِحِينَ

Fa akhazat humus saihatu musbiheen

but overtook them an awful cry in the early morning.

15.84

فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ

Famaaa aghnaa 'anhum maa kaanoo yaksiboon

and not availed them what they used to earn.

15.85

وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ

وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَءَاتِيَةٌ ۖ

فَٱصْفَحِ ٱلصَّفْحَ ٱلْجَمِيلَ

Wa maa khalaqnas samaawaati wal arda wa maa bainahumaaa illaa bilhaqq;

wa innas Saa'ata la aatiyatun

fasfahis safhal jameel

and we not created the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them except with truth.

And surely the hour is coming

so overlook their faults forgiveness with gracious.

15.86

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلْخَلَّٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

Inna Rabbaka Huwal khallaaqul 'aleem

verily your Raub is The Supreme Creator The Omniscient

15.87

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَٰكَ سَبْعًا مِّنَ ٱلْمَثَانِى وَٱلْقُرْءَانَ ٱلْعَظِيمَ

Wa laqad aatainaaka sab'am minal masaanee wal Qur-aanal 'azeem

and indeed we have given you seven of the repeatedly recited auyaat and the Grand Qur’an.

15.88

لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجًا مِّنْهُمْ

وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ

وَٱخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Laa tamuddanna 'ainaika ilaa maa matta 'naa biheee azwaajam minhum

wa laa tahzan 'alaihim

wakhfid janaahaka lilmu 'mineen

not look with your eyes! At what we have bestowed with it couples certain classes of them

nor grieve over them

and lower your wing for the believers.

15.89

وَقُلْ إِنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱلنَّذِيرُ ٱلْمُبِينُ

Wa qul inneee anan nazeerul mubeen

and say: “I indeed I am the plain warner.”

15.90

كَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى ٱلْمُقْتَسِمِينَ

Kamaaa anzalnaa 'alal muqtasimeen

as we have sent down on the dividers.

15.91

ٱلَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا۟ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ عِضِينَ

Allazeena ja'alul Quraana 'idee

who have made the Qur’an into parts.

15.92

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْـَٔلَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

Fawa Rabbika lanas'a lannahum ajma'een

So, by your Raub! We shall certainly ask them all.

15.93

عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

'Ammaa kaanoo ya'maloon

about what they used to do.

15.94

فَٱصْدَعْ بِمَا تُؤْمَرُ

وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ

Fasda' bimaa tu'maru

wa a'rid anil mushrikeen

Therefore, proclaim that which you are commanded.

And turn away from the polytheists.

15.95

إِنَّا كَفَيْنَٰكَ ٱلْمُسْتَهْزِءِينَ

Innaa kafainaakal mustahzi'een

truly we will suffice you against the scoffers.

15.96

ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۚ

فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

Allazeena yaj'aloona ma'al laahi ilaahan aakhar;

fasawfa ya'lamoon

who set up along with Allah god another,

so will they come to know.

15.97

وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدْرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ

Wa laqad na'lamu annaka yadeequ sadruka bimaa yaqooloon

and indeed! We know that you is straitened your breast of what they say.

15.98

فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ

وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ

Fasbbih bihamdi Rabbika

wa kum minas saajideen

so, glorify the praises of your Raub

and be of those who prostrate.

15.99

وَٱعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ ٱلْيَقِينُ

Wa'bud Rabbaka hattaa yaatiyakal yaqeen

and worship your Raub until comes unto you the certainly death.

15.111

96. ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

Allazeena yaj'aloona ma'al laahi ilaahan aakhar; fasawfa ya'lamoon

who set up along with Allah god another, so will they come to know.

15.112

96. ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

Allazeena yaj'aloona ma'al laahi ilaahan aakhar; fasawfa ya'lamoon

1. who set up along with Allah god another, so will they come to know.

15.1

الٓر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَقُرْءَانٍ مُّبِينٍ

Alif-Laaam-Raa; tilka Aayaatul Kitaabi wa Qur-aa-nim Mubeen

Alif-Lam-Ra These are the auyaats of the scripture and Qur’an a plain.

Alif-Lam-Ra Ye aayate hai kitab aur roshan quran ki

15.2

رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ مُسْلِمِينَ

Rubamaa yawaddul lazeena kafaroo law kaanoo muslimeen

Perhaps those who disbelieved wish if that they were Muslims.

Bahut aarzuwen karenge kafir kaash musalman hote

15.3

ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا۟ وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟

وَيُلْهِهِمُ ٱلْأَمَلُ ۖ

فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

Zarhum yaakuloo wa tatamatta'oo

wa yulhihimul amalu

fasawfa ya'lamoon

leave them to eat and let them enjoy

and be preoccupied with hope,

will they come to know.

Unhe choorho ke khaye aur barte

aur umeed unhe khel me dale

to ab jaanna chahte hai.

15.4

وَمَآ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُومٌ

Wa maaa ahlaknaa min qaryatin illaa wa lahaa kitaabum ma'loom

and not we destroy from a town but there was for it decree scripture a known.

Aur jo basti hum ne halak ki us ka ek jaana huva navishta tha.

15.5

مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ

Maa tasbiqu min ummatin ajalahaa wa maa yastaakhiroon

any nation can not advance its term nor delay it.

Koyi girooh apne waada se aage na barhe na peeche hate.

15.6

وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِى نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ

إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ

Wa qaaloo yaaa aiyuhal lazee nuzzila 'alaihiz Zikru

innaka lamajnoon

and they say: O you to whom was sent down unto him the Qur’an,

truly you are a mad man.

Aur bole ke aey woh jin par quran utra

beshak tum majnoon ho.

15.7

لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ

إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

Law maa taateenaa bil malaaa'ikati

in kunta minas saadiqeen

if you not bring to us angels,

if you are of the truthful.

Hamare paas farishte kyu nahi laate

agar tum sache ho.

15.8

مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ

وَمَا كَانُوٓا۟ إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ

Maa nunazzilul malaaa'i kata illaa bilhaqqi

wa maa kaanooo izam munzareen

we not send down the angels except with the truth

so not they would be then given respite.

Hum farishte nahi utarte mager haq ke sath

aur woh utre to unhe mohlat na mile.

15.9

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا ٱلذِّكْرَ

وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ

Innaa Nahnu nazalnaz Zikra

wa Innaa lahoo lahaa fizoon

truly we have down the Qur’an

and surely we for it guardians.

Be shak hum ne utara hai ye quran

aur beshak hum khud is ke nigahbaan hai.

15.10

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِى شِيَعِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Wa laqad arsalnaa min qablika fee shiya'il awwaleen

and indeed we send before you amongest the communities sects of old.

Aur beshak hum ne tum se pehle agli ummato me rasool bheje

15.11

وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ

Wa maa yaateehim mir Rasoolin illaa kaanoo bihee yastahzi'oon

and not came to them any prophet rasool, but they did mock at him.

Aur unke paas koyi rasool nahi aata magar us se hansi karte hai.

15.12

كَذَٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُۥ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

kazaalika naslukuhoo fee quloobil mujrimeen

thus do we let it enter into the hearts of the sinners.

Aise hi hum is hansi ko un mujrimo ke dilo me raah dete hai.

15.13

لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۖ

وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Laa yu'minoona bihee

wa qad khalat sunnatul awwaleen

they would not believe in it

and indeed has gone example of the ancients.

1. Woh us par iman nahi late aur aglo ki raah pad chuki hai.

15.14

وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ

فَظَلُّوا۟ فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ

Wa law fatahnaa 'alaihim baabam minas samaaa'i

fazaloo feehi ya'rujoon

and even if we opened to them a gate from the heaven,

and they were to continue there to ascend.

1. Aur agar hum un ke liye asman me koyi darwaza khol de ke din ko us me chadhte.

15.15

لَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَٰرُنَا

بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ

Laqaaloo innamaa sukkirat absaarunaa

bal nahnu qawmum mashooroon

they would say: surely have been blocked blurred our eyes,

nay but we are people bewitched.

1. Jab bhi yahi kehte ke hamari nigaah bandh di gayi hai balke hum par jaadu huva hai.

15.16

وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا

وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ

Wa laqad ja'alnaa fissamaaa'i buroojanw

wa zaiyannaahaa linnaazireen

and indeed we have put in the heaven big stars,

and we beautified it for the beholders.

1. Aur beshak hum ne aasman me burj banaye aur use dekhne walo ke liye arasta kiya.

15.17

وَحَفِظْنَٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَٰنٍ رَّجِيمٍ

Wa hafiznaahaa min kulli Shaitaanir rajeem

and we have protected it from every devil shaytaan outcast.

1. Aur use hum ne har shaitaan mardood se mahfooz rakha.

15.18

إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسْتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمْعَ

فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ

Illaa manis taraqas sam'a

fa atba'ahoo shihaabum mubeen

except him who gains hearing steals

he is pursued by a clear flaming fire.

1. Magar jo chori chupe sunne jaaye to uske peeche padta hai roshan shola.

15.19

وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَٰهَا

وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ

وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ

Wal arda madadnaahaa

wa alqainaa feehaa rawaasiya

wa ambatnaa feehaa min kulli shai'im mawzoon

and the earth we spread it

and placed therein firm mountains

and caused to grow therein of each thing balanced in due proprtion.

1. Aur hum ne zameen phailayi aur us me langar dale aur us me har cheez andaze se ugayi .

15.20

وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ

وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ

Wa ja'alnaa lakum feehaa ma'aayisha

wa mal lastum lahoo biraaziqeen

and we have made provision for you therein means of living

and for those whom you not for whom provide.

1. Aur tumhare liye us me roziya kardi aur woh kardiye jinhe tum rizq nahi dete.

15.21

وَإِن مِّن شَىْءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ

وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ

Wa in min shai'in illaa 'indanaa khazaaa 'inuhoo

wa maa nunazziluhooo illaa biqadarim ma'loom

and there is not a thing but with us are the stores thereof

and we not send it down except in a measure known.

1. Aur koyi cheez nahi jiske hamare paas khazane na ho aur hum use nahi utarte magar ek maloom anzaar se.

15.22

وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلرِّيَٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ

فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً

فَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُمُوهُ

وَمَآ أَنتُمْ لَهُۥ بِخَٰزِنِينَ

Wa arsalnar riyaaha la waaqiha

fa anzalnaa minas samaaa'i maaa'an

fa asqai naakumoohu

wa maaa antum lahoo bikhaazineen

and we send winds fertilizing

then cause to decend from they sky water

and we gave it to you to drink

and not you for it are able to store.

15.23

وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ

وَنَحْنُ ٱلْوَٰرِثُونَ

Wa innnaa la nahnu nuhyee wa numeetu

wa nahnul waarisoon

and certainly we it is who give life and cause death

and we are the inheritors.

15.24

وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ

وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَـْٔخِرِينَ

Wa la qad 'alimnal mustaqdimeena minkum

wa laqad 'alimnal mustaakhireen

and indeed we know the first generations who have passed away of you

and indeed we know the present late generations who will come afterwards.

15.25

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ

إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ

Wa inna Rabbaka Huwa yahshuruhum;

innahoo Hakeem 'Aleem

and verily your Raub is he who will gather them,

truly he is The Ultimately Wise One The Omniscient.

15.26

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلْصَٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ

Wa laqad khalaqnal insaana min salsaalim min hama im masnoon

and indeed we created man from clay of mud altered into shape.

15.27

وَٱلْجَآنَّ خَلَقْنَٰهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ

Waljaaanna khalaqnaahu min qablu min naaris samoom

and the jinn we created it afore time from fire of smokeless flame.

15.28

وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ

إِنِّى خَٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًا

مِّن صَلْصَٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ

Wa iz qaala Rabbuka lilmalaaa' ikati

innee khaaliqum basharam

min salsaalim min hama im masnoon

and remember when said your Raub to the angels;

verily I am going to create a man,

from clay of mud altered into shape.

15.29

فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ

وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى

فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ

Fa izaa sawwaituhoo

wa nafakhtu feehi mir roohee

faqa'oo lahoo saajideen

so when I have fashioned him

and breathed into him of My soul

then fall down for him prostrating.

15.30

فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ

Fasajadal malaaa'ikatu kulluhum ajma'oon

So prostrated the angels all of them together.

15.31

إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ

Illaaa ibleesa abaaa ai yakoona ma'as saajideen

Except iblis satan, he refused to be with the prostrators.

15.32

قَالَ يَٰٓإِبْلِيسُ

مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ

Qaala yaaa Ibleesu

maa laka allaa takoona ma'as saajideen

Allah said: O Iblis satan!

What is for you? that not you are with the prostrators.

15.33

قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ

خَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن صَلْصَٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ

Qaala lam akul li asjuda libasharin

khalaqtahoo min salsaalim min hama im masnoon

Iblis said: not I am to prostrate to a man human being

whom you created from clay of mud altered into shape.

15.34

قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ

Qaala fakhruj minhaa fa innaka rajeem

Allah said: “then get out from here for truly you are outcast.”

15.35

وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ ٱللَّعْنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ

Wa inna 'alikal la'nata ilaa Yawmid Deen

and the curse truly shall be upon you till the day when of recompense.

15.36

قَالَ رَبِّ

فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ

Qaala Rabbi

fa anzirneee ilaa Yawmi yub'asoon

Iblis said: “O my Raub

give me then respite.” Till the day the dead will be resurrected.

15.37

قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ

Qaala fa innaka minal munzareen

Allah said: “then truly you are of those who are reprieved”

15.38

إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ

Ilaa Yawmil waqtil ma'loom

Till the day of the known time.

15.39

قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى

لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ

وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

Qaala Rabbi bimaaa aghwaitanee

la uzayyinaana lahum fil ardi

wa la ughwiyan nahum ajma'een

Iblis said: O my Raub! Because of what you misled me,

I shall indeed adorn for them on the earth

and I shall indeed mislead all them.

15.40

إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ

Illaa 'ibaadaka minhumul mukhlaseen

“Except your slaves among them the chosen sincere.”

15.41

قَالَ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ عَلَىَّ مُسْتَقِيمٌ

Qaala haaza Siraatun 'alaiya Mustaqeem

Allah said: “ this is the straight way to me.”

15.42

إِنَّ عِبَادِى لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَٰنٌ

إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلْغَاوِينَ

Inna 'ibaadee laisa laka 'alaihim sultaanun

illaa manittaba'aka minal ghaaween

certainly, My slaves you shall not have over them any authority

except those who followed you of the ones who go astray.

15.43

وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

Wa inna jahannama lamaw'iduhum ajma'een

and surely hell is the promised place for them all.

15.44

لَهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَٰبٍ

لِّكُلِّ بَابٍ مِّنْهُمْ جُزْءٌ مَّقْسُومٌ

Lahaa sab'atu abwaab;

likulli baabim minhum juz'um maqsoom

it hell has seven gates

for each door of them is a portion assigned.

15.45

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ

Innal muttaqeena fee Jannaatinw wa 'uyoon

truly the pious people will be amids gardens and water springs.

15.46

ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَٰمٍ ءَامِنِينَ

Udkhuloohaa bisalaamin aamineen

enter therein in peace and security.

15.47

وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِى صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ

إِخْوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ

Wa naza'naa ma fee sudoorihim min ghillin

ikhwaanan 'alaa sururim mutaqaabileen

and we shall remove what is in their breasts any injury hard feeling.

So they will be brothers on thrones facing each other.

15.48

لَا يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ

وَمَا هُم مِّنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ

Laa yamas suhum feehaa nasabunw

wa maa hum minhaa bimukhrajeen

not will touch them therein fatigue,

nor shall they of it be removed.

15.49

نَبِّئْ عِبَادِىٓ أَنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

Nabbi' 'ibaadeee annneee anal Ghafoorur Raheem

O Muhammad! Inform My slaves that I, I am The Forgiving One The Most Merciful.

15.50

وَأَنَّ عَذَابِى هُوَ ٱلْعَذَابُ ٱلْأَلِيمُ

Wa anna 'azaabee huwal 'azaabul aleem

and that My torment it is the most painful torment.

15.51

وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَن ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ

Wa nabbi'hum 'an daifi Ibraaheem

and tell them about guels of Ibrahim Abraham.

15.52

إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ

فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَٰمًا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمْ وَجِلُونَ

Iz dakhaloo 'alaihi

faqaaloo salaaman qaala innaa minkum wajiloon

when they entered upon him,

and said: “peace Salam.” He said: “indeed we are afraid of you.”

15.53

قَالُوا۟ لَا تَوْجَلْ

إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ

Qaaloo la tawjal

innaa nubashshiruka bighulaamin 'aleem

they said: do not be afraid.

We truly bring glad tidings to you of a son boy knowledgeable.

15.54

قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِى

عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِىَ ٱلْكِبَرُ

فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ

Qaala abashshartumoonee

'alaaa am massaniyal kibaru

fabima tubashshiroon

Abraham said: do you give me glad tidings?

When that has overtake me old age

so of what you give glad tidings!

15.55

قَالُوا۟ بَشَّرْنَٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ

فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْقَٰنِطِينَ

Qaaloo bashsharnaaka bilhaqqi

falaa takum minal qaaniteen

they said we give you glad tidings in truth

so not be of the desparing.

15.56

قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ

Qaala wa mai yaqnatu mir rahmati Rabbiheee illad daaaloon

Abraham Said: “and who despairs of the Mercy of his Raub except those who are astray.”

15.57

قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

Qaala famaa khatbukum aiyuhal mursaloon

Abraham said: “then what is your mission O you prophets Al-Mursaleen angels.”

15.58

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ

Qaaloo innaaa ursilnaaa ilaa qawmim mujrimeen

they said: “truly we have been sent to a people who are criminals sinners.”

15.59

إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

Illaaa Aala Loot; innaa lamunajjoohum ajma'een

Except the family of lot we truly shall save them all.

15.60

إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَآ ۙ

إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ

Illam ra atahoo qaddarnaaa

innahaa laminal ghaabireen

except his wife. We have decreed

that she is of those who remain behind to be destroyed.

15.61

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ءَالَ لُوطٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

Falamma jaaa'a Aala Lootinil mursaloon

then when the prophets Al-Mursaleen angels came to the faimly of Lot.

15.62

قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ

Qaala innakum qawmum munkaroon

Lot said: “verily you are people unknown to me.”

15.63

قَالُوا۟ بَلْ جِئْنَٰكَ

بِمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ

Qaaloo bal ji'naaka

bimaa kaanoo feehi yamtaroon

they said: Nay, but! We have come to you

with what they were in it doubting.

15.64

وَأَتَيْنَٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ

وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ

Wa atainaaka bilhaqqi

wa innaa lasaadiqoon

and we have brought you the truth

and we truly tell the truth.

15.65

فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ

وَٱتَّبِعْ أَدْبَٰرَهُمْ

وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ

وَٱمْضُوا۟ حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ

Fa asri bi ahlika biqit'im minal laili

wattabi' adbaarahum

wa laa yaltafit minkum ahadunw

wamdoo haisu tu'maroon

then travel with your family in part of the night

and follow their backs.

And not look back of you anyone

but go on where you are ordered.

15.66

وَقَضَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْأَمْرَ

أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ

Wa qadainaaa ilaihi zaalikal amra

anna daabira haaa'ulaaa'i maqtoo'um musbiheen

and we made to him this decree,

that! The root of those sinners was to be cut off in the early morning.

15.67

وَجَآءَ أَهْلُ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ

Wa jaaa'a ahlul madeenati yastabshiroon

and came the inhabitants of the city rejoicing.

15.68

. قَالَ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيْفِى فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ

Qaala inna haaa'ulaaa'i daifee falaa tafdahoon

lot said: “verily these are my guests so not shame me”.

15.69

وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ

Wattaqul laaha wa laa tukhzoon

and beware Allah and not disgrace me.

15.70

قَالُوٓا۟ أَوَلَمْ نَنْهَكَ عَنِ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

Qaalooo awalam nanhaka 'anil 'aalameen

they said: “did not we forbid you from entertaining the people?”

15.71

قَالَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِىٓ إِن كُنتُمْ فَٰعِلِينَ

Qaala haaa'ulaaa'i banaateee in kuntum faa'ileen

lot said: these are my daughters wedlock them if you must act the validate.

15.72

لَعَمْرُكَ إِنَّهُمْ لَفِى سَكْرَتِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

La'amruka innahum lafee sakratihim ya'mahoon

By your life truly they were in their wild intoxication wandering blindly.

15.73

فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ

Fa akhazat humus saihatu mushriqeen

so, overtook them awful cry at the time of sunrise.

15.74

فَجَعَلْنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا

وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

Faja'alnaa 'aaliyahaa saafilahaa

wa amtamaa 'alaihim hijaaratam min sjijjeel

and we turned it upside down,

and rained unto them stones of baked clay.

15.75

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ

Inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil lilmutawassimeen

surely in this are signs auyaats for those who see.

15.76

وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٍ مُّقِيمٍ

Wa innahaa labi sabeelim muqeem

and verily they the cities were on a road established.

15.77

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Inna fee zaalika la Aayatal lilmu'mineen

Surely therein is indeed a signs auyaats for the believers.

15.78

وَإِن كَانَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأَيْكَةِ لَظَٰلِمِينَ

Wa in kaana Ashaabul Aikati lazaalimeen

and surely the owners dwellers of the wood were wrong-doers.

15.79

فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ

وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ

Fantaqamnaa minhum

wa innahumaa labi imaamim mubeen

so, we took vengeance of them

and they are both on a clear road way.

15.80

وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْحِجْرِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

Wa laqad kazzaba ashaabul Hijril mursaleen

and verily denied dwellers of the rocky tract the prophets.

15.81

وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَكَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ

Wa aatainaahum Aayaatinaa fakaanoo 'anhaa mu'rideen

and we gave them our signs auyaats but they were to them averse.

15.82

وَكَانُوا۟ يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا ءَامِنِينَ

Wa kaanoo yanhitoona minal jibaali buyootan aamineen

and they used to hew out from the mountains homes dwellings secure.

15.83

فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُصْبِحِينَ

Fa akhazat humus saihatu musbiheen

but overtook them an awful cry in the early morning.

15.84

فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ

Famaaa aghnaa 'anhum maa kaanoo yaksiboon

and not availed them what they used to earn.

15.85

وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ

وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَءَاتِيَةٌ ۖ

فَٱصْفَحِ ٱلصَّفْحَ ٱلْجَمِيلَ

Wa maa khalaqnas samaawaati wal arda wa maa bainahumaaa illaa bilhaqq;

wa innas Saa'ata la aatiyatun

fasfahis safhal jameel

and we not created the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them except with truth.

And surely the hour is coming

so overlook their faults forgiveness with gracious.

15.86

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلْخَلَّٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

Inna Rabbaka Huwal khallaaqul 'aleem

verily your Raub is The Supreme Creator The Omniscient

15.87

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَٰكَ سَبْعًا مِّنَ ٱلْمَثَانِى وَٱلْقُرْءَانَ ٱلْعَظِيمَ

Wa laqad aatainaaka sab'am minal masaanee wal Qur-aanal 'azeem

and indeed we have given you seven of the repeatedly recited auyaat and the Grand Qur’an.

15.88

لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجًا مِّنْهُمْ

وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ

وَٱخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Laa tamuddanna 'ainaika ilaa maa matta 'naa biheee azwaajam minhum

wa laa tahzan 'alaihim

wakhfid janaahaka lilmu 'mineen

not look with your eyes! At what we have bestowed with it couples certain classes of them

nor grieve over them

and lower your wing for the believers.

15.89

وَقُلْ إِنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱلنَّذِيرُ ٱلْمُبِينُ

Wa qul inneee anan nazeerul mubeen

and say: “I indeed I am the plain warner.”

15.90

كَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى ٱلْمُقْتَسِمِينَ

Kamaaa anzalnaa 'alal muqtasimeen

as we have sent down on the dividers.

15.91

ٱلَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا۟ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ عِضِينَ

Allazeena ja'alul Quraana 'idee

who have made the Qur’an into parts.

15.92

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْـَٔلَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

Fawa Rabbika lanas'a lannahum ajma'een

So, by your Raub! We shall certainly ask them all.

15.93

عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

'Ammaa kaanoo ya'maloon

about what they used to do.

15.94

فَٱصْدَعْ بِمَا تُؤْمَرُ

وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ

Fasda' bimaa tu'maru

wa a'rid anil mushrikeen

Therefore, proclaim that which you are commanded.

And turn away from the polytheists.

15.95

إِنَّا كَفَيْنَٰكَ ٱلْمُسْتَهْزِءِينَ

Innaa kafainaakal mustahzi'een

truly we will suffice you against the scoffers.

15.96

ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۚ

فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

Allazeena yaj'aloona ma'al laahi ilaahan aakhar;

fasawfa ya'lamoon

who set up along with Allah god another,

so will they come to know.

15.97

وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدْرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ

Wa laqad na'lamu annaka yadeequ sadruka bimaa yaqooloon

and indeed! We know that you is straitened your breast of what they say.

15.98

فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ

وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ

Fasbbih bihamdi Rabbika

wa kum minas saajideen

so, glorify the praises of your Raub

and be of those who prostrate.

15.99

وَٱعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ ٱلْيَقِينُ

Wa'bud Rabbaka hattaa yaatiyakal yaqeen

and worship your Raub until comes unto you the certainly death.

15.111

96. ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

Allazeena yaj'aloona ma'al laahi ilaahan aakhar; fasawfa ya'lamoon

who set up along with Allah god another, so will they come to know.

15.112

96. ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

Allazeena yaj'aloona ma'al laahi ilaahan aakhar; fasawfa ya'lamoon

1. who set up along with Allah god another, so will they come to know.
