    Taa-Haa

    20.2

    مَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِتَشْقَىٰٓ

    Maaa anzalnaa 'alaikal Qur-aana litashqaaa

    Not we have sent down unto you the Qur’an to cause that you distress. 

    Hum ne tum par  ye quran isliye na utara ke tum mashaqqat me parho.

    20.3

     إِلَّا تَذْكِرَةً لِّمَن يَخْشَىٰ

    Illaa tazkiratal limany yakshaa

    But as a reminder to those who fear.

    Haa is ko naseehat jo dar rakhta ho.

    20.4

     تَنزِيلًا مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ ٱلْعُلَى

    Tanzeelam mimman khalaqal arda was samaawaatil 'ulaa

    A revelation from him who has created the earth and high the heavens.

    Iska utaara huva jisne zameen aur unche  aasman banaye.

    20.5

    ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱسْتَوَىٰ

    Ar-Rahmaanu 'alal 'Arsh istawaa

    The Most Gracious over the Throne operated the heaven arsh 

    Woh barhi maher wala usne arsh par istewa farmaya jaisa uski shaaan ke layiq hai.

    20.6

    لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ

    وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ

    وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا

    وَمَا تَحْتَ ٱلثَّرَىٰ

    Lahoo maa fis samaawaati

    wa maa fil ardi

    wa maa bainahumaa

    wa maa tahtassaraa

    to him belongs all that is in the heavens
    and all that is in the earth
    and all that is between them
    and all that is under the soil.

    usi ka hai Jo kuch aasman me hai
    aur  jo kuch  zameen me
    aur jo kuch unke beech me 
    aur jo kuch us geeli mitti ke neeche hai.

    20.7

    وَإِن تَجْهَرْ بِٱلْقَوْلِ

    فَإِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ وَأَخْفَى

    Wa in tajhar bilqawli

    fainnahoo ya'lamus sirra wa akhfaa

     

    and if you speak aloud statement invocation,
    then verily he knows the secrets and what is hidden.

    Aur agar tu baat pukar kar kahe
    to woh to bheyd ko janta hai aur uey jo us se bhi zyada chupa hai.

    20.8

    ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ

    لَهُ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ

    Allaahu laaa ilasha illaa Huwa

    lahul Asmaaa'ul Husnaa

     

    Allah, there is no God but he
    the best names are to him.

    Allah hai uske siwa kisi ki bandagi nahi
    usi ke hai sab ache naam.

    20.9

     وَهَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ

    Wa hal ataaka hadeesu Moosa

    and has come to you story of Moosaua.

    Aur kuch tumhe moosa ki khaber aayi.

    20.10

    إِذْ رَءَا نَارًا
    فَقَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ ٱمْكُثُوٓا۟
    إِنِّىٓ ءَانَسْتُ نَارًا
    لَّعَلِّىٓ ءَاتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِقَبَسٍ
    أَوْ أَجِدُ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ هُدًى

    Iz ra aa naaran

    faqaala li alhlihim kusooo

    inneee aanastu naaral

    la'alleee aateekum minhaa biqabasin

    aw ajidu 'alan naari hudaa

     

    when he saw a fire
    he said to his family, You wait,
    Verily I have seen a fire. 
    Perhaps I can bring you therefrom some burning brand
    or I find at fire guidance.

    Jab us ne ek aag dekhi
    to apni bibi se kaha tehro
    mujhe ek aag nazar parhi hai
    shayad my tumhare liye us me se koyi chingari laau
    ya aag par rasta paau.

    20.11

    فَلَمَّآ أَتَىٰهَا نُودِىَ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ

    Falammaaa ataahaa noodiya yaa Moosaa

     when he came to it he was called by name “O Moosaa”.

    Phir  jab aag ke paas aaya nida farmayi gayi aey moosa.

    20.12

    إِنِّىٓ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكَ

    فَٱخْلَعْ نَعْلَيْكَ ۖ

    إِنَّكَ بِٱلْوَادِ ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى

    Inneee Ana Rabbuka
    fakhla' na'laika
    innaka bilwaadil muqaddasi Tuwaa

    verily I am your Raub
    so take off your shoes.
    Verily you are in the sacred valley tuwa.

    Beshak my tera rab hu
    to tu apne jutee utaar daal
    beshak tu paak jangal tuva me hai.

    20.13

    وَأَنَا ٱخْتَرْتُكَ

    فَٱسْتَمِعْ لِمَا يُوحَىٰٓ

    Wa anakhtartuka

    fastami' limaa yoohaa

    and I have chosen you
    so listen to that which is revealed to you.

    Aur my ne tujhe pasand kiya
    ab kaan laga kar sun jo tujhe wahi hoti hai.

    20.14

    إِنَّنِىٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ

    لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠

    فَٱعْبُدْنِى

    وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِذِكْرِىٓ

    Innaneee Anal laahu

    laaa ilaaha illaa Ana

    fa'budnee

    wa aqimis-salaata lizikree

     

    Verily I, I am Allah
    there is no God but I
    so worship me.
         

    Beshak my hi hu Allah
    ke mere siwa  koyi mabood nahi
    to meri bandagi kar
    aur meri yaad ke liye namaz qayam rakh.

    20.15

    إِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ ءَاتِيَةٌ
    أَكَادُ أُخْفِيهَا
    لِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا تَسْعَىٰ

    Innas Saa'ata aatiyatun

    akaadu ukhfeehaa

    litujzaa kullu nafsim bimaa tas'aa

     

     verily the Hour is coming
    almost I hide it
    that may be rewarded every soul for that which it stives.

    Beshak qayamat aane wali hai
    qareeb tha ke my use sab se chupaau
    ke har jaan apni koshish ka badla paye.

    20.16

    فَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكَ عَنْهَا
    مَن لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِهَا
    وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ فَتَرْدَىٰ

    Falaa yasuddannnaka 'anhaa

    mal laa yu'minu bihaa

    wattaba'a hawaahu fatardaa

    thereafter not let divert you from it
    one who not believes in it
    and follows his own lusts, lest you perish.

    To hargiz tujhe uske maanne se woh baaz na rakhe
    jo us par imaan nahi laata
    aur apni kihawhish ke peeche chala phir to halak ho jaye.

    20.17

     وَمَا تِلْكَ بِيَمِينِكَ يَٰمُوسَىٰ

    Wa maa tilka bi yamee nika yaa Moosaa

    and what is that in your right hand, O Moosaa!

    Aur ye tere daahne haath me kya hai aey moosa.

    20.18

    قَالَ هِىَ عَصَاىَ
    أَتَوَكَّؤُا۟ عَلَيْهَا
    وَأَهُشُّ بِهَا عَلَىٰ غَنَمِى
    وَلِىَ فِيهَا مَـَٔارِبُ أُخْرَىٰ

    Qaala hiya 'asaaya

    atawakka'u alaihaa

    wa ahushshu bihaa 'alaa ghanamee

    wa liya feehaa ma aaribu ukhraa

     

    he said this is my stick,
    I learn on it
    and beat down braches with it for my sheep
    and for me in it are uses other.

    Arz ki ye mera asaa hai
    my uspar  takiya lagata hu
    aur us se apni bakriyo par patte jhaadta hu
    aur  mere us me aur kaam hai.

    20.19

    قَالَ أَلْقِهَا يَٰمُوسَىٰ

    Qaala alqihaa yaa Moosaa

    Allah said: “cast it down O Moosaa!”

    Farmaya use daal de aey moosa.

    20.20

    فَأَلْقَىٰهَا
    فَإِذَا هِىَ حَيَّةٌ تَسْعَىٰ

    Fa-alqaahaa

    fa -izaa hiya haiyatun tas'aa

    so he cast it down
    and behold it was a snake moving quickly.

    To moosa ne daal diya
    to jabhi woh daurhta huva saamp hogaya.

    20.21

    قَالَ خُذْهَا وَلَا تَخَفْ ۖ
    سَنُعِيدُهَا سِيرَتَهَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ

    Qaala khuzhaa wa laa ta khaf

    sanu'eeduhaa seeratahal oolaa

     

    Allah said: Grasp it and not fear,
    we shall return it to its state former.

    Farmaya usey uthale aur dar nahi
    ab hum usey phir pehli tarah kardenge.

    20.22

    وَٱضْمُمْ يَدَكَ إِلَىٰ جَنَاحِكَ
    تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوٓءٍ
    ءَايَةً أُخْرَىٰ

    Wadmum yadaka ilaa janaahika

    takhruj baidaaa'a min ghairi sooo'in

    Aayatan ukhraa

     

    and press your hand to your side,
    it will come forth white without any disease
    as auyat naother.

    Aur apna haath apne baazu se mila
    khoob sapeid nikle ga be kasi marz ke
    ek aur nishani.

    20.23

    لِنُرِيَكَ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِنَا ٱلْكُبْرَى

    Linuriyaka min Aayaatinal Kubra

    That we show you some of greatest our Auyaats. 

    ke hum tujhe apni barhi barhi nishaniya dikhaye.

    20.24

    ٱذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ

    Izhab ilaa Fir'awna innahoo taghaa

    You go to Pharaoh Feerauwm verily he has transgressed.

    Firoun ke paas jaa us ne sar uthaya.

    20.25

    قَالَ رَبِّ ٱشْرَحْ لِى صَدْرِى

    Qaala Rabbish rah lee sadree

    He Moosaa said: O my Raub open for me my chest 

    Arz ki aey mere rab mere liye mera seena khol de.

    20.26

    وَيَسِّرْ لِىٓ أَمْرِى

    Wa yassir leee amree

    and ease for me my task. 

    Aur mere liye mera kaam asaan kar.

    20.27

     وَٱحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِى

    Wahlul 'uqdatam milli saanee

    And loose knot from my tongue.

    Aur  meri zabaan ki girah khol de.

    20.28

    يَفْقَهُوا۟ قَوْلِى

    Yafqahoo qawlee

    that they may understand my speech.

    Ke woh meri baat samjhe.

    20.29

    وَٱجْعَل لِّى وَزِيرًا مِّنْ أَهْلِى

    Waj'al lee wazeeram min ahlee

     

    and make appoint for me a helper from my faimly.

    Aur mere liye mere gharwalo me se ek wazeer karde.

    20.30

    هَٰرُونَ أَخِى

    Haaroona akhee

    Aaron haaroun my brother, 

    Woh koun mera bhai haroon.

    20.31

    ٱشْدُدْ بِهِۦٓ أَزْرِى

    Increase with him my strenght.

    increase with him my strenght

    Us se meri kamar mazboot kar.

    20.32

     وَأَشْرِكْهُ فِىٓ أَمْرِى

    Wa ashrik hu feee amree

    and share him in my task.

    Aur usey mere kaam me shareek kar.

    20.33

    كَىْ نُسَبِّحَكَ كَثِيرًا

    Kai nusabbihaka kaseeraa

    that we may glorify you much.

    Ke hum bakasrat teri paaki bole.

    20.34

    وَنَذْكُرَكَ كَثِيرًا

    Wa nazkuraka kaseeraa

    and we remember you much.

    Aur bakasrat teri yaad kare.

    20.35

    إِنَّكَ كُنتَ بِنَا بَصِيرًا

    Innaka kunta binaa baseeraa

    verily you are of us well-seer.

    Beshak tu hame dekh raha hai.

    20.36

    قَالَ قَدْ أُوتِيتَ سُؤْلَكَ يَٰمُوسَىٰ

    Qaala qad ooteeta su'laka yaa Moosaa

    Allah said: “indeed you granted your request O Moosaa!”

    Farmaya aey moosa teri maang tujhe ata huvi.

    20.37

    وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَيْكَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَىٰٓ

    Wa laqad manannaa 'alaika marratan ukhraaa

    and indeed we conferred a favour on you time another.

    Aur beshak hum ne tujh par ek baar aur ehsaan farmaya.

    20.38

     إِذْ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّكَ مَا يُوحَىٰٓ

    Iz awhainaaa ilaaa ummika maa yoohaaa

    when we inspired to your mother that which is inspired.

    Jab hum ne teri maa ko ilham kiya jo ilham karna tha.

    20.39

    أَنِ ٱقْذِفِيهِ فِى ٱلتَّابُوتِ
    فَٱقْذِفِيهِ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ
    فَلْيُلْقِهِ ٱلْيَمُّ بِٱلسَّاحِلِ
    يَأْخُذْهُ عَدُوٌّ لِّى وَعَدُوٌّ لَّهُۥ ۚ
    وَأَلْقَيْتُ عَلَيْكَ مَحَبَّةً مِّنِّى
    وَلِتُصْنَعَ عَلَىٰ عَيْنِىٓ

    Aniqzifeehi fit Taabooti

    faqzifeehi fil yammi

    fal yul qihil yammu bis saahili

    yaakhuzhu 'aduwwul lee wa 'aduwwul lah;

    wa alqaitu 'alaika mahabbatam minnee

    wa litusna'a 'alaa 'ainee

    that you put him into a coffin
    and you float it into sea,
    then shall cast it up the sea on the bank
    shall take him an enemy of mine and enemy of his
    and I endued on you with love from me
    and that you may be brought up on under my eye.

    Ke us bache ko sandooq me rakh  
    aur darya me daal de
    to darya use kinare par dale
    ke use woh uthale jo mera dushman aur uska dushman
    aur my ne tujh par apni taraf ki mohgabbat dali
    aur is liye ke tu meri nigaah ke saamne tayyar ho

    20.40

    إِذْ تَمْشِىٓ أُخْتُكَ
    فَتَقُولُ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ مَن يَكْفُلُهُۥ ۖ
    فَرَجَعْنَٰكَ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّكَ
    كَىْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ ۚ
    وَقَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا
    فَنَجَّيْنَٰكَ مِنَ ٱلْغَمِّ
    وَفَتَنَّٰكَ فُتُونًا ۚ
    فَلَبِثْتَ سِنِينَ فِىٓ أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ
    ثُمَّ جِئْتَ عَلَىٰ قَدَرٍ يَٰمُوسَىٰ

    Iz tamsheee ukhtuka

    fataqoolu hal adullukum 'alaa mai yakfuluhoo

    faraja 'naaka ilaaa ummika

    kai taqarra 'ainuhaa wa laa tahzan;

    wa qatalta nafsan

    fanajjainaaka minal ghammi

    wa fatannaaka futoonaa;

    falabista sineena feee ahli Madyana

    summa ji'ta 'alaa qadariny yaa Moosa

     

    when went your sister
    then said: “shall I show you on one who will nurse him”
    so we restored you to your mother
    that might be cooled her eye and not grieve
    and you did kill a man
    but we saved you from distress
    and we tried you with a trial
    then you stayed years in with people of Madyan
    then you came according to fixed term O Moosaa.

    jab teri bahan chali
    phir kaha kya may tumhe woh log bta dun jo is bacha ki parwarish karen
    to ham tujhe teri maa ke paas pher laaye
    ke us ki aankh thandhi ho aur gham na kere
    aur to ne ek jaan ko qatal kya
    to hum ne tujhe gham se nijaat di
    aur tujhe khoob jaanch liya
    to to kai baras Madyan walon me raha
    phir to ek thehraye wada par haazir huwa ae Moosa!.

    20.41

    وَٱصْطَنَعْتُكَ لِ نَفْسِى 

    Wastana' tuka linafsee

    and I have chosen you for myself.

    aur mai ne tujhe khaas apne liye banaya.

    20.42

    ٱذْهَبْ أَنتَ وَأَخُوكَ بِـَٔايَٰتِى

    وَلَا تَنِيَا فِى ذِكْرِى

    Izhab anta wa akhooka bi Aayaatee

    wa laa taniyaa fee zikree

    Go you and your brother with my Auyaats,
    and not you both become weak in my remembranc.

    to aur tera bhai dono meri nishaniyan le kar jao
    aur meri yaad me susti na karna.

    20.43

     ٱذْهَبَآ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ

    Izhabaaa ilaa Fir'awna innahoo taghaa

    Go both to pharaof, verily he has transgressed.

    dono firaon ke paas jao beshak us ne sar uthaya.

    20.44

    فَقُولَا لَهُۥ قَوْلًا لَّيِّنًا
    لَّعَلَّهُۥ يَتَذَكَّرُ أَوْ يَخْشَىٰ

    Faqoolaa lahoo qawlal laiyinal

    la allahoo yatazakkkaru 'aw yakhshaa

    and speak both to him soft word
    perhaps he may accept admonition or fear.

    to us se naram baat kahna
    us umeed par ke woh dheyaan kere ya kuch dare.

    20.45

    قَالَا رَبَّنَآ إِنَّنَا نَخَافُ
    أَن يَفْرُطَ عَلَيْنَآ
    أَوْ أَن يَطْغَىٰ

    Qaalaa Rabbanaaa innanaa nakhaafu

    ai yafruta 'alainaaa

    aw ai yatghaa

    they said o our Raub, verily we fear,
    lest he should hasten to punish on us
    or lest he should transgress.

    dono ne arz kya, ae hamare rab! beshak hum darte hain
    ke woh hum par ziyadti kere
    ya shararat se paish aaye.

    20.46

     قَالَ لَا تَخَافَآ ۖ
    إِنَّنِى مَعَكُمَآ
    أَسْمَعُ وَأَرَىٰ

    Qaala laa takhaafaaa

    innanee ma'akumaa

    asma'u wa araa

    He Allah said: not you fear,
    verily I am with you both,
    I hear and see.

    farmaya daro nahi
    beshak may tumahre sath hon
    sunta aur daikhta.

    20.47

    فَأْتِيَاهُ
    فَقُولَآ إِنَّا رَسُولَا رَبِّكَ
    فَأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
    وَلَا تُعَذِّبْهُمْ ۖ
    قَدْ جِئْنَٰكَ بِـَٔايَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكَ
    ۖ وَٱلسَّلَٰمُ عَلَىٰ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ

    Faatiyaahu  

    faqoolaaa innaa Rasoolaa Rabbika

    fa arsil ma'anaa Banee Israaa'eela

    wa laa tu'azzibhum

    qad ji'naaka bi Aayatim mir Rabbika

    wassa laamu 'alaa manit taba'al hudaa

     

    so go both to him
    and you say, verily we are prophet of your Raub
    so send with us children of Issraueel
    and not you punish them,
    indeed we came to you with Auyaats from your Raub.
    And peace will be upon him who followed the guidance.

    to us ke paas jao
    aur us se kaho ke hum tere rab ke bheje hue hain
    to aulaad Yaqoob ko hamare saath chorh de
    aur unhen takleef na de
    beshak hum tere rab ki taraf se nishani laaye hain
    aur salamti use jo hidaayat ki pairwi kare.

    20.48

    إِنَّا قَدْ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْنَآ
    أَنَّ ٱلْعَذَابَ عَلَىٰ مَن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ

    Innaa qad oohiya ilainaaa

    annnal 'azaaba 'alaa man kaz zaba wa tawalla

    truly indeed it has been revealed to us
    that the torment is upon him who denied and turned away.

    beshak hamari taraf wahi hoti hai
    ke azaab is par hai jo jhutlaye aur munh phere.

    20.49

    قَالَ فَمَن رَّبُّكُمَا يَٰمُوسَىٰ

    Qaala famar Rabbu kumaa yaa Moosa

    he pharaoh said: then who is Raub of you two O Moosaua.

    bola to tum dono ka khuda kaun hai ae Moosa.

    20.50

    قَالَ رَبُّنَا

    ٱلَّذِىٓ أَعْطَىٰ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ خَلْقَهُۥ

    ثُمَّ هَدَىٰ

    Qaala Rabbun

    al lazeee a'taa kulla shai'in khalqahoo

    summa hadaa

    He Moosaa said: our Raub
    he who gave each thing its from and nature
    then guided it a right.

    kaha hamara rab
    woh hai jis ne har cheez ko us ke Laiq soorat di
    phir raah dikhayi.

    20.51

    قَالَ فَمَا بَالُ ٱلْقُرُونِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ

    Qaala famaa baalul quroonil oolaa

    he pharaoh said: then what is the state of the generations of the old?

    bola agli sangato ( qaumon ) ka kya haal hai.

    20.52

    قَالَ عِلْمُهَا عِندَ رَبِّى فِى كِتَٰبٍ ۖ
    لَّا يَضِلُّ رَبِّى وَلَا يَنسَى

    Qaala 'ilmuhaa 'inda Rabee fee kitaab,

    laa yadillu Rabbee wa laa yansaa

    he Moosaa said: that knowledge is with my Raub in a record scripture
    neither errs my Raub nor he forgets.

    kaha un ka ilm mere rab ke paas ek kitaab me hai
    mera rab na behke na bhoole.

    20.53

    ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا
    وَسَلَكَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا
    وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً
    فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجًا مِّن نَّبَاتٍ شَتَّىٰ

    Allazee ja'ala lakumul arda mahdanw

    wa salaka lakum feehaa subulanw

    wa anzala minas samaaa'i maaa'an

    fa akhrajnaa biheee azwaajam min nabaatin shatta

    he who made for you the earth as a bad
    and opened for you therein roads
    and sent down from the sky water rain
    and we brought forth with it kinds of vegetation various.

    woh jis ne tumahre liye zameen ko bichona kiya
    aur tumahre liye us me chalti rahen rakheen
    aur aasman se pani utaara
    to hum ne us se tarah tarah ke sabze ke jorhe nikale.

    20.54

    كُلُوا۟ وَٱرْعَوْا۟ أَنْعَٰمَكُمْ ۗ
    إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّأُو۟لِى ٱلنُّهَىٰ

    Kuloo war'aw an'aamakum;

    inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil li ulin nuhaa

    you eat and pasture your cattle.
    Verily in this are indeed Auyyats for the men of understanding.

    tum khao aur apne maweshion ko charao
    beshak us me nishaniyan hain aqal walon ko.

    20.55

    مِنْهَا خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ
    وَفِيهَا نُعِيدُكُمْ
    وَمِنْهَا نُخْرِجُكُمْ تَارَةً أُخْرَىٰ

    Minhaa khalaqnaakum

    wa feehaa nu'eedukum

    wa minhaa nukhrijukum taaratan ukhraa

    of thereof we created you
    and  into it we shall return you
    and for it we shall bring out you once again .

    ham ne zameen hi se tumhe banaya

    aur usi me tumhe phir le jayen ge

    aur isi se tumhe dobarah nikalen ge.

    20.56

    وَلَقَدْ أَرَيْنَٰهُ ءَايَٰتِنَا كُلَّهَا

    فَكَذَّبَ وَأَبَىٰ

    Wa laqad arainaahu Aayaatinaa kullahaa

    fakaz zaba wa abaa

    and indeed we showed him our Auyaats all of them,
    but he denied and refused.

     aur beshak ham ne use apni sab nishaniyan deikhen

    to us ne jhutlaya aur na mana.

    20.57

     قَالَ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتُخْرِجَنَا مِنْ أَرْضِنَا بِسِحْرِكَ يَٰمُوسَىٰ

    Qaala aji'tanaa litukhri janaa min ardinaa bisihrika yaa Moosa

    he Pharaof said: have you come to us to drive us out of our land with your magic “O Moosaa!

    bola kya tum hamaray paas is liye aaye ho ke hame –apne jadu ke sabab hamari zameen se nikaal do ae Moosa.

    20.58

     فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّكَ بِسِحْرٍ مِّثْلِهِۦ

    فَٱجْعَلْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكَ مَوْعِدًا

    لَّا نُخْلِفُهُۥ نَحْنُ وَلَآ أَنتَ مَكَانًا سُوًى

    Falanaatiyannaka bisihrim mislihee

    faj'al bainanaa wa bainaka maw'idal

    laa nukhlifuhoo nahnu wa laaa anta makaanan suwaa

    then verily we can produce to you with magic like this
    so make appoint between us and between you a meeting,
    neither we fail it we nor you in a place equal.

    to zaroor ham bhi tumahre age waisa hi jadu layein ge

    to ham me aur –apne me ek wada thehra do

    jis se na ham badla len na tum hamwar jagah ho.

    20.59

    قَالَ مَوْعِدُكُمْ يَوْمُ ٱلزِّينَةِ
    وَأَن يُحْشَرَ ٱلنَّاسُ ضُحًى

    Qaala maw'idukum yawmuz zeenati

    wa ai yuhsharan naasu duhaa

    He Moosaa said: your appointment is day of the festival
    and that will be assembled the people forenoon.

     Moosa ne kaha tumhara wada mile ka din hai

    aur yeh ke log din chadhe jama kiye jayen.

    20.60

    فَتَوَلَّىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ
    فَجَمَعَ كَيْدَهُۥ ثُمَّ أَتَىٰ

    Fatawallaa Fir'awnu

    fajjama'a kaidahoo summa ataa

    so withdrew feerauwn
    then he gathered his plot then he came back .

    to firaon phira

    aur –apne daon ( fraib ) ikathe kiye phir aaya.

    20.61

    قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰ وَيْلَكُمْ
    لَا تَفْتَرُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا
    فَيُسْحِتَكُم بِعَذَابٍ ۖ
    وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ

    Qaala lahum Moosaa wailakum

    laa taftaroo 'alal laahi kaziban

    fa yus hitakum bi 'azaab,

    wa qad khaaba manif taraa

    said to them Moosaa: woe unto you
    not you invent on against Allah a lie
    then he will destroy you by a torment
    and surely he failed who invented a lie.

    un se Moosa ne kaha tumhe kharabi ho

    Allah par jhoot na bandho

    ke woh tumhe azaab se hilaak kar de

    aur be shak namuraad raha jis ne jhoot baandha.

    20.62

    فَتَنَٰزَعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ
    وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّجْوَىٰ

    Fatanaaza'ooo amrahum bainahum

    wa asarrun najwaa

    then they debated with one another their matter among them
    and they kept secret privake talk of counsel.

    to –apne maamla me baa ham mukhtalif ho gaye

    aur chup kar mushawarat ki.

    20.63

    قَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَٰنِ لَسَٰحِرَٰنِ
    يُرِيدَانِ أَن يُخْرِجَاكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِكُم بِسِحْرِهِمَا
    وَيَذْهَبَا بِطَرِيقَتِكُمُ ٱلْمُثْلَىٰ

    Qaalooo in haaazaani lasaahiraani

    yureedaani ai yukhrijaakum min ardikum bisihrihimaa

    wa yazhabaa bitareeqatikumul muslaa

    they said: verily these two magicians,
    indeed that they you out from your land with their magic
    and go away with your way superior.

     bole be shak yeh dono zaroor jadugar hain
    chahtay hain ke tumhe tumhari zameen se –apne jadu ke zor se nikaal den
    aur tumhara acha deen le jayen.

    20.64

     فَأَجْمِعُوا۟ كَيْدَكُمْ

    ثُمَّ ٱئْتُوا۟ صَفًّا ۚ

    وَقَدْ أَفْلَحَ ٱلْيَوْمَ مَنِ ٱسْتَعْلَىٰ

    Fa ajmi'oo kaidakum

    summma'too saffaa;

    wa qad aflahal yawma manis ta'laa

    so devise your plot
    then come assemble in a row
    and indeed he who overcomes will be successful today.

     to apna dao ( fraib ) pakka kar lo
    phir para bandh ( saf bandh ) kar aao
    aaj murad ko pahuncha jo ghalib raha.

    20.65

    قَالُوا۟ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِمَّآ أَن تُلْقِىَ
    وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَلْقَىٰ

    Qaaloo yaa Moosaaa immaaa an tulqiya

    wa immaaa an nakoona awala man alqaa

    they said: o moosaa! either that you throw
    or that we be the firs who will throw.

     bole ae Moosa ya to tum daalo
    ya ham pehlay dalain.

    20.67

    فَأَوْجَسَ فِى نَفْسِهِۦ خِيفَةً مُّوسَىٰ

    Fa awjasa fee nafsihee kheefatam Moosa

    so he conceived or felt in himself a fear Moosaua.

     to –apne jee me moose ne khauf paaya.

    20.68

     قُلْنَا لَا تَخَفْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ

    Qulnaa laa takhaf innaka antal a'laa

    We said: you not fear! Surely you you are superior.

    ham ne farmaya dar nahi beshak to hi ghalib hai.

    20.69

     وَأَلْقِ مَا فِى يَمِينِكَ
    تَلْقَفْ مَا صَنَعُوٓا۟ ۖ
    إِنَّمَا صَنَعُوا۟ كَيْدُ سَٰحِرٍ
    ۖ وَلَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلسَّاحِرُ حَيْثُ أَتَىٰ

    Wa alqi maa fee yamee nika

    talqaf maa sana'oo;

    innamaa sana'oo kaidu saahir;

    wa laa yuflihus saahiru haisu ataa

    and throw you that which is in your right hand,
    it will swallow up that which they have made
    only they have made trick of a magician
    and never will be successful the magician to whatever amount of skill he may possess.

     aur daal to de jo tere dahine haath me hai
    aur un ki banawaton ko nigal jaye ga,
    woh jo bana kar laaye hain woh to jadugar ka fraib hai,
    aur jadugar ka bhala nahi hota kahen aawe.

    20.70

    فَأُلْقِىَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سُجَّدًا

    قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ هَٰرُونَ وَمُوسَىٰ

    Fa ulqiyas saharatu sujjadan

    qaalooo aamannaa bi Rabbi Haaroona wa Moosa

    so fell down the magicians in prostration
    they said: “we believed in the Raub of Haaroun and Moosaua.”

     

     to sab jadugar sjday me gira liye gaye
    bole ham is par imaan laaye jo Haroon aur moose ka rab hai.

    20.71

    قَالَ ءَامَنتُمْ لَهُۥ قَبْلَ أَنْ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ
    إِنَّهُۥ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ
    ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَكُمُ ٱلسِّحْرَ ۖ
    فَلَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُم مِّنْ خِلَٰفٍ
    وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ فِى جُذُوعِ ٱلنَّخْلِ
    وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ أَيُّنَآ أَشَدُّ عَذَابًا وَأَبْقَىٰ

    Qaala aamantum lahoo qabla an aazana lakum;

    innahoo lakabeerukumul

    lazee 'allama kumus sihra

    fala uqatti'anna aidiyakum wa arjulakum min khilaafinw

    wa la usallibannakum fee juzoo'in nakhli

    wa lata'lamunna aiyunaaa ashaddu 'azaabanw wa abqaa

    he Feerauwn said: “ you believe in him before that i give premission to you.
    verily he is your chief
    who taught you the magic.
    So surely I will cut off your hands and your feet from on opposite sides
    and surely I will crucify you in on the trunks of date-palms
    and surely you will know which of us is more severe in torment and more lasting.

    firaon bola kya tum is par imaan laaye qabal is ke ke me tumhe ijazat dun
    , beshak woh tumhara bara hai
    jis ne tum sab ko jadu sikhaya
    to mujhe qasam hai zaroor me tumahre ek taraf ke haath aur doosri taraf ke paon kaaton ga
    aur tumhe khajoor ke dhnd ( tane ) par suli chadaega,
    aur zaroor tum jaan jao ge ke ham me kis ka azaab sakht aur derpa hai.

    20.72

    قَالُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْثِرَكَ
    عَلَىٰ مَا جَآءَنَا مِنَ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ
    وَٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنَا ۖ
    فَٱقْضِ مَآ أَنتَ قَاضٍ ۖ
    إِنَّمَا تَقْضِى هَٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَآ

    Qaaloo lan nu'siraka

    'alaa maa jaaa'anaa minal baiyinaati

    wallazee fataranaa

    faqdi maaa anta qaad;

    innamaa taqdee haazihil hayaatad dunyaa

    they said never we prefer you
    over what has come to us from the clear sings 
    and him who created us,
    so decree you whatever you decree,
    only you can decree regarding this life worldly. 

    bole hum hargiz tujhe tarjeeh na den ge
    un raushan dalilon par jo hamare paas ayen
    hame apne paida karne wale ki qasam
    to tu karle jo tujhe karna hai
    to is duniya hi ki zindagi me to kere ga.

    20.73

     إِنَّآ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّنَا
    لِيَغْفِرَ لَنَا خَطَٰيَٰنَا
    وَمَآ أَكْرَهْتَنَا عَلَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلسِّحْرِ ۗ
    وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ

    Innaaa aamannaa bi Rabbinaa

    liyaghfira lanaa khataayaanaa

    wa maaa akrahtanaa 'alaihi minas sihr;

    wallaahu khairunw waabqaa

    verily we have believed in our Raub
    that he may forgive us our sins
    and what you did copel us on it from the magic
    and Allah is best and Most lasting.

    beshak hum apne rab par imaan laaye
    ke woh hamari khataen bakhesh de
    aur woh jo to ne hame majboor kya jadu par
    aur Allah behtar hai aur sab se ziyada baqi rehne wala.

    20.74

    إِنَّهُۥ مَن يَأْتِ رَبَّهُۥ مُجْرِمًا
    فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ جَهَنَّمَ
    لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ

    Innahoo mai yaati Rabbahoo mujriman

    fa inna lahoo Jahannama

    laa yamotu feehaa wa laa yahyaa

    verily he whoever comes to his Raub as a criminal
    then surely for him is hell,
    neither he will die therein nor he will live.

    beshak jo apne rab ke huzoor mujrim ho kar aaye
    to zaroor is ke liye jahannam hai
    jis me na mare na jiye.

    20.75

    وَمَن يَأْتِهِۦ مُؤْمِنًا قَدْ عَمِلَ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
    فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلدَّرَجَٰتُ ٱلْعُلَىٰ

    Wa mai yaatihee mu'minan qad 'amilas saalihaati

    fa ulaaa'ika lahumud dara jaatul 'ulaa

    and whoever comes to him as a believer indeed he has done righteous deeds
    then are those for them are high ranks.

    aur jo is ke huzoor imaan ke saath aaye ke achche kaam kiye hon
    to unhen ke darje unche.

    20.76

    جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٍ
    تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ
    خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ
    وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ

    Jannaatu 'Adnin

    tajree min tahtihal anhaaru

    khaalideena feehaa;

    wa zaalika jazaaa'ua man tazakka

    Gardens of Eden
    flowing under them rivers
    they will abide forever therein
    and that is reward of him who purifies himself.

    basne ke baagh
    jin ke neeche nahren bahen
    hamesha un me rahen,
    aur yeh sila hai us ka jo pak huwa.

    20.77

    وَلَقَدْ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ
    أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِى
    فَٱضْرِبْ لَهُمْ طَرِيقًا فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ يَبَسًا
    لَّا تَخَٰفُ دَرَكًا
    وَلَا تَخْشَىٰ

    Wa laqad awhainaaa ilaa Moosaaa

    an asri bi'ibaadee

    fadrib lahum tareeqan fil bahri yabasal

    laa takhaafu darakanw

    wa laa takhshaa

    and indeed! We revealed to Moosaa
    that you travel by night with my slaves
    then strike for them a dry way in the sea
    neither fearing to be overtake
    nor being afraid of drowning in the sea

    aur beshak hum ne Moosa ko wahi ki
    ke raton raat mere bandon ko le chal
    aur un ke liye darya me sookha rasta nikaal de
    tujhe dar na ho ga ke firaon aale
    aur na khatrah.

    20.78

    فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ بِجُنُودِهِۦ

    فَغَشِيَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْيَمِّ مَا غَشِيَهُمْ

    Fa atba'ahum Fir'awnu bijunoodihee

    faghashiyahum minal yammmi maa ghashi yahum

    then pursued them freerauwn with his hosts
    but the sea covered them that what covered them up

    to un ke peeche firaon parha apna lashkar le kar
    to unhen darya ne dhaanp liya jaisa dhaanp liya.

    20.79

    وَأَضَلَّ فِرْعَوْنُ قَوْمَهُۥ وَمَا هَدَىٰ

    wa adalla fir'awnu qawmahoo wa maa hadaa

    and let astray Feerauwn his people nation and not guided them.

    aur firaon ne apni qaum ko gumraah kya aur raah na dikhayi.

    20.80

    يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
    قَدْ أَنجَيْنَٰكُم مِّنْ عَدُوِّكُمْ
    وَوَٰعَدْنَٰكُمْ جَانِبَ ٱلطُّورِ ٱلْأَيْمَنَ
    وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَنَّ وَٱلسَّلْوَىٰ

    Yaa Baneee Israaa'eela

    qad anjainaakum min 'aduw wikum

    wa wa'adnaakum jaanibat Tooril aimana

    wa nazzalnaa 'alaikumul Manna was Salwaa

    O chidren of Issraueel,
    indeed we delivered you from your enemy
    and we made a covenant with you on the side right of the Tuor
    and we sent down on to you Manna and Quails.

    ae bani Israel
    beshak hum ne tum ko tumahre dushman se nijaat di
    aur tumhe tor ki dahni taraf ka wada diya
    aur tum par manna aur Salwa utaara.

    20.81

     كُلُوا۟ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا رَزَقْنَٰكُمْ
    وَلَا تَطْغَوْا۟ فِيهِ
    فَيَحِلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ غَضَبِى ۖ
    وَمَن يَحْلِلْ عَلَيْهِ غَضَبِى
    فَقَدْ هَوَىٰ

    Kuloo min taiyibaati maa razaqnaakum

    wa laa tatghaw feehi

    fa yahilla 'alaikum ghadabee

    wa mai yahlil 'alaihi ghadabee

    faqad hawaa

    You eat from good lawful things which we have provided you
    and you not commit oppression therein
    lest should descend on you my anger
    and he descends on whom my anger
    indeed he is perished.

    khao jo paak cheeze ham ne tumhe rozi den
    aur us me zayad-ti na karo
    ke tum par mera gazab utre aur jis par mera gazab Itra
    be shak woh gira.

    20.82

    وَإِنِّى لَغَفَّارٌ لِّمَن تَابَ
    وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًا ثُمَّ ٱهْتَدَىٰ

    Wa innee la Ghaffaarul liman taaba

    wa aamana wa 'amila saalihan summah tadaa

    and verily I am indeed Most Forgiving to him who repends
    and believers and does righteous deeds then he ramains guided.

    aur be shak me bahut bakhsne wala hun use jis ne tauba ki
    aur imaan laya aur acha kaam kya phir hidaayat par raha.

    20.83

    وَمَآ أَعْجَلَكَ عَن قَوْمِكَ يَٰمُوسَىٰ

    Wa maaa a'jalaka 'an qawmika yaa Moosa

    and O Moosau! What made you hasten from your people?

    aur to ne apni qaum se kyun jaldi ki ae moose.

    20.84

     قَالَ هُمْ أُو۟لَآءِ عَلَىٰٓ أَثَرِى
    وَعَجِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ رَبِّ لِتَرْضَىٰ

    Qaala hum ulaaa'i 'alaaa asaree

    wa 'ajiltu ilaika Rabbi litardaa

    He said: they are close on my footsteps
    and I hastened to you My Raub that you might be pleased .

     arz ki ke woh yeh hain mere peeche
    aur ae mere rab teri taraf me jaldi kar ke haazir huwa ke to raazi ho.

    20.85

    قَالَ فَإِنَّا قَدْ فَتَنَّا قَوْمَكَ مِنۢ بَعْدِكَ

    وَأَضَلَّهُمُ ٱلسَّامِرِىُّ

    Qaala fa innaa qad fatannaa qawmaka mim ba'dika

    wa adallahumus Saamiriyy

     

    said: then verily we indeed we have tried your people after you
    nd Samiri led them astray.

    farmaya, to ham ne tere anay ke baad teri qoum bulaa me dala
    aur unhen samri ne gumraah kar diya.

    20.86

    فَرَجَعَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ غَضْبَٰنَ أَسِفًا ۚ
    قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ أَلَمْ يَعِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ وَعْدًا حَسَنًا
    ۚ أَفَطَالَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْعَهْدُ
    أَمْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن يَحِلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ غَضَبٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ
    فَأَخْلَفْتُم مَّوْعِدِى

    Faraja's Moosaaa ilaa qawmihee ghadbaana asifaa;

    qaala yaa qawmi alam ya'idkum Rabbukum wa'dan hasanaa;

    Afataala 'alaikumul 'ahdu

    am arattum ai yahilla 'alaikum ghadabum mir Rabbikum

    fa akhlaftum maw'idee

    then returned Moosaua to his people begin angry sorrowful.
    He said: O my people! Did not your Raub promise you a promise fair?
    Did then seen long prolonged on you promise?  
    Or did your desire that should descend on you wrath from your Raub,
    so you broke your promise to me.

     to moose apni qaum ki taraf palta gussa me bhara afsos karta
    kaha ae meri qoum kya tum se tumahray rab ne acha wada na tha
    kya tum par muddat lambi guzri
    ya tum ne chaha ke tum par tumahray rab ka gazab utre
    to tum ne mera wada khilaaf kya.

    20.87

    قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَخْلَفْنَا مَوْعِدَكَ بِمَلْكِنَا
    وَلَٰكِنَّا حُمِّلْنَآ أَوْزَارًا مِّن زِينَةِ ٱلْقَوْمِ
    فَقَذَفْنَٰهَا
    فَكَذَٰلِكَ أَلْقَى ٱلسَّامِرِىُّ

    Qaaloo maaa akhlafnaa maw'idaka bimalkinna

    wa laakinna hummilnaaa awzaaram min zeenatil qawmi

    faqazafnaahaa

    fakazaalika alqas Saamiriyy

    they said: we not broke promise to you of our own will,
    but were made to carry weight of ornaments of people
    then we cast them
    as put forth samiri.

    bole ham ne aap ka wada apne ikhtiyar se khilaaf na kya
    lekin ham se kuch boojh uthwaye gaye is qaum ke gahne ke
    to ham ne unhen daal diya
    phir isi tarah saamri ne dala

    20.88

    فَأَخْرَجَ لَهُمْ عِجْلًا جَسَدًا

    لَّهُۥ خُوَارٌ

    فَقَالُوا۟ هَٰذَآ إِلَٰهُكُمْ

    وَإِلَٰهُ مُوسَىٰ فَنَسِىَ

    Fa akhraja lahum 'ijlan jasadal

    lahoo khuwaarun

    faqaaloo haazaaa ilaahukum

    wa ilaahu Moosaa fanasee

     

    then he took out for them of a calf body
    it had a low sound
    then they said: “this is your god”
    and the god of Moosaua but is as forgotten. 

    to is ne un ke liye ek bachrha nikala be jaan ka
    dhar gaaye ki tarah
    bolta yeh hai tumhara mabood
    aur moose ka mabood to bhool gaye.

    20.89

     أَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ

    أَلَّا يَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهِمْ قَوْلًا

    وَلَا يَمْلِكُ لَهُمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا

    Afalaa yarawna

    allaa yarji'u ilaihim qawlanw

    wa laa yamliku lahum darranw wa laa naf'aa

    Did then not they see?
    That not it could return to them a word
    nor it had power for them to harm nor profit.

    to kya nahi dekhte
    ke woh unhen kisi baat ka jawab nahi deta
    aur un ke siwa kisi bure bhale ka ikhtiyar nahi rakhta.

    20.89

    أَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَلَّا يَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهِمْ قَوْلًا

    وَلَا يَمْلِكُ لَهُمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا

    Afalaa yarawna allaa yarji'u ilaihim qawlanw

    wa laa yamliku lahum darranw wa laa naf'aa 

    Did then not they see? That not it could return to them a word
    nor it had power for them to harm nor profit.

    to kya nahi dekhte ke woh unhen kisi baat ka jawab nahi deta
    aur un ke siwa kisi bure bhale ka ikhtiyar nahi rakhta.

    20.90

    وَلَقَدْ قَالَ لَهُمْ هَٰرُونُ مِن قَبْلُ

    يَٰقَوْمِ إِنَّمَا فُتِنتُم بِهِۦ ۖ

    وَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ

    فَٱتَّبِعُونِى

    وَأَطِيعُوٓا۟ أَمْرِى

    Wa laqad qaala lahum Haaroonu min qablu

    yaa qawmi innamaa futintum bihee

    wa inna Rabbakumur Rahmaanu

    fattabi'oonee

    wa atee'ooo amree

     

    and indeed Hauroun said to them before;
    O my people! Only you are being tried with it
    and verily! your Raub is the Most Gracious Allah
    so you follow me
    and obey my order.

    aur be shak un se Haroon ne is se pahle kaha tha ke
    ae meri qaum yuhin hai ke tum is ke sabab fitne me pade
    aur be shak tumhara rab Rehman hai
    to meri pairwi karo
    aur mera hukum mano.

    20.91

    قَالُوا۟ لَن نَّبْرَحَ عَلَيْهِ عَٰكِفِينَ

    حَتَّىٰ يَرْجِعَ إِلَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ

    Qaaloo lan nabraha 'alaihi 'aakifeena

    hattaa yarji'a ilainaa Moosaa

    they said: never we will stop on it worshiping
    until returns to us Moosaa.

    bole ham to is par aasen maare jame rahen ge
    jab tak hamare paas moose lout ke ayen.

    20.92

     قَالَ يَٰهَٰرُونُ

    مَا مَنَعَكَ

    إِذْ رَأَيْتَهُمْ ضَلُّوٓا۟

    Qaala Yaa Haaroonu

    maa mana 'aka

    iz ra aitahum dallooo

    He said: O Hauroun!
    What stopped you?
    when you saw them going astray.

    moose ne kaha, ae Haroon
    ! tumhe kis baat ne roka tha
    jab tum ne unhen gumraah hote dekha tha ke mere peeche aate.

    20.93

    أَلَّا تَتَّبِعَنِ ۖ
    أَفَعَصَيْتَ أَمْرِى

    Allaa tattabi'ani

    Afa'asaita amree

    that not you follow me,
    have you then disobeyed my order?

    to kya tum mere peeche aate
    to kya tum ne mera hukum na mana.

    20.94

    قَالَ يَبْنَؤُمَّ لَا تَأْخُذْ بِلِحْيَتِى وَلَا بِرَأْسِىٓ ۖ
    إِنِّى خَشِيتُ أَن تَقُولَ
    فَرَّقْتَ بَيْنَ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
    وَلَمْ تَرْقُبْ قَوْلِى

    Qaala yabna'umma laa taakhuz bilihyatee wa laa biraasee

    innee khashetu an taqoola

    farraqta baina Baneee Israaa'eela

    wa lam tarqub qawlee

    He Hauroun said: O son of my mother! You not seize by my beard nor by my head,
    verily I feared, lest you should say:
    you have cuased a division between children of Issraueel
    and not you respect my word.

    kaha ae mere maa jaye! na meri darhhi pakro aur na mere sar ke baal
    mujhe yeh dar huwa ke tum kaho ge
    tum ne bani Israel me tafaroqa daal diya
    aur tum ne meri baat ka intzaar na kya.

    20.95

    قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكَ يَٰسَٰمِرِىُّ

    Qaala famaa khatbuka yaa Saamiriyy

    He Moosaa said them: “O samiri what is your matter? 

    moose ne kaha ab tera kya haal hai ae samri !

    20.96

    قَالَ بَصُرْتُ بِمَا لَمْ يَبْصُرُوا۟ بِهِۦ
    فَقَبَضْتُ قَبْضَةً مِّنْ أَثَرِ ٱلرَّسُولِ
    فَنَبَذْتُهَا
    وَكَذَٰلِكَ سَوَّلَتْ لِى نَفْسِى

    Qaala basurtu bimaa lam yabsuroo bihee

    faqabadtu qabdatam min asarir Rasooli

    fanabaztuhaa

    wa kazaalika sawwalat lee nafsee

     

    He samiri said: I saw what they not saw with it
    so I took a handful of dust from hoof print of the Prophet angel
    then threw it
    and thus my innerse suggested to me.

    bola my ne dekha jo logon ne na dekha
    to ek mutthi bher li ferishte ke nishan se
    phir use daal diya
    aur mere jee ko yahi bhala laga

    20.97

    قَالَ فَٱذْهَبْ
    فَإِنَّ لَكَ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
    أَن تَقُولَ لَا مِسَاسَ ۖ
    وَإِنَّ لَكَ مَوْعِدًا لَّن تُخْلَفَهُۥ ۖ
    وَٱنظُرْ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِكَ
    ٱلَّذِى ظَلْتَ عَلَيْهِ عَاكِفًا
    ۖ لَّنُحَرِّقَنَّهُۥ
    ثُمَّ لَنَنسِفَنَّهُۥ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ نَسْفًا

    Qaala fazhab

    fa inna laka fil hayaati

    an taqoola laa misaasa

    wa inna laka maw'idal lan tukhlafahoo

    wanzur ilaaa ilaahik

    al lazee zalta 'alaihi 'aakifaa;

    lanuharriqannnahoo

    summa lanansifanahoo fil yammi nasfaa

    He said then go away,
    then verily for you is in the life
    that you will say: “not touch”
    and verily you have a promise not that you will fail it
    and look at your god
    which you have been devoted to it
    certainly we will burn it
    then certainly we will scatter it in the sea in particles.

    kaha to chalta ban
    ke duniya ki zindagi me teri saza yeh hai
    ke to kahe chhoo na ja
    aur beshak tere liye ek wada ka waqt hai jo tujh se khilaaf na ho ga
    aur apne is mabood ko dekh
    jis ke samne to din bhar aasen maare ( pooja ke liye baitha ) raha
    qasam hai hum zaroor use jalayen ge
    phir rezah rezah kar ke darya me bahaaden ge.

    20.98

    إِنَّمَآ إِلَٰهُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ
    ٱلَّذِى لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ
    وَسِعَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ عِلْمًا

    Innamaaa ilaahukkumul laah

    ul lazee laa ilaaha illaa Hoo;

    wasi'a kulla shai'in ilmaa

    only your God is Allah
    who there is no god but he Allah
    he comprehends every thing in knowledge.

    tumhara mabood to wohi Allah hai
    jis ke siwa kisi ki bandagi nahi
    har cheez ko is ka ilm muheet hai.

    20.99

    كَذَٰلِكَ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ مَا قَدْ سَبَقَ ۚ
    وَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَٰكَ مِن لَّدُنَّا ذِكْرًا

    Kazaalika naqussu 'alaika min ambaaa'i maa qad sabaq;

    wa qad aatainaaka mil ladunnaa Zikraa

    thus we relate to you from some information of what happened before
    and indeed we have given you from us a reminder the Qur’an.

    hum aisa hi tumahre samne agli khabren bayan farmate hain
    aur hum ne tum ko apne paas se ek zikar ataa farmaya.

    20.100

    مَّنْ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ
    فَإِنَّهُۥ يَحْمِلُ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وِزْرًا

    Man a'rada 'anhu,

    fa innahoo yahmilu Yawmal Qiyaamati wizraa

    whoever turned away from it
    then verily he will bear a burden on day of resurrection.

    jo is se munh phere
    to beshak woh qayamat ke din ek bojh uthaye ga.

    20.101

     خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهِ ۖ
    وَسَآءَ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ حِمْلًا

    Khaalideena feehi

    wa saaa'a lahum Yawmal Qiyaamati himlaa

    they will abide in that
    and evil will be load for them on day of Resurrection.

    woh hamesha is me rahen ge
    aur woh qayamat ke din un ke haq me kya hi bora bojh ho ga.

    20.102

    يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ
    ۚ وَنَحْشُرُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ زُرْقًا

    Yawma yunfakhu fissoori

    wa nahshurul mujrimeena Yawma 'izin zurqaa

    the day when will beblown in the trumpet
    and we shall gather the criminals that day blue or blind eyes.

    jis din soor phunkaa jaye ga
    aur hum is din mujrimon ko uthayen ge nili ankhen.

    20.103

    يَتَخَٰفَتُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ
    إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا عَشْرًا

    Yatakhaafatoona bainahum

    il labistum illaa 'ashraa

    they will speak in whispers among themselves
    not you stayed except ten days.

    aapas me chupke chupke kahte hon ge
    ke tum duniya me na rahay magar das raat.

    20.104

    نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ
    إِذْ يَقُولُ أَمْثَلُهُمْ طَرِيقَةً
    إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا يَوْمًا

    nahnu a'lamu bimaa yaqooloona

    iz yaqoolu amsaluhum tareeqatan

    illabistum illaa yawmaa

    we know very well what they will say
    when will say best of them in knowledge
    and wisdom not you stayed except a day.

    hum khoob jaante hain jo woh kahen ge
    jabke un me sab se behtar raye wala kahe ga
    ke tum sirf aik hi din rahe the.

    20.105

    وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلْجِبَالِ
    فَقُلْ يَنسِفُهَا رَبِّى نَسْفًا

    Wa yas'aloonaka 'anil jibaali

    faqul yansifuhaa Rabbee nasfaa

    and they ask you about the mountains
    then you say: my Raub will blast them as particles of dust.

    aur tum se paharhon ko puchhte hain
    tum farmao unhen mera rab rezah rezah kar ke urha de ga.

    20.106

    فَيَذَرُهَا قَاعًا صَفْصَفًا

    Fa yazaruhaa qaa'an safsafaa

    then he shall leave it as a leave smooth.

    to zameen ko pat per hamwar kar chorhe ga.

    20.107

    لَّا تَرَىٰ فِيهَا عِوَجًا وَلَآ أَمْتًا

    Laa taraa feehaa 'iwajanw wa laaa amtaa

    you will not see therein any crookedness nor curve.

    ke to is me neecha uncha kuch na dekhe.

    20.108

    يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلدَّاعِىَ لَا عِوَجَ لَهُۥ ۖ
    وَخَشَعَتِ ٱلْأَصْوَاتُ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ
    فَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَّا هَمْسًا

    Yawma iziny yattabi'oonad daa'iya laa 'iwaja lahoo

    wa khasha'atil aswaatu lir Rahmaani

    falaa tasma'u illaa hamsaa

    on that day they shall follow caller there is no crookedness for him
    and will be humbled voices for the Most Gracious,
    so nothing you shall hear but a whisper.

    is din pukarne wale ke peeche daurhen ge is me kaji na ho gi
    aur sari aawazen Rehman ke huzoor past ho kar reh jayen gi
    to to na sune ga magar bahut aahista aawaz.

    20.109

    يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا تَنفَعُ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ
    إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ
    وَرَضِىَ لَهُۥ قَوْلًا

    Yawma 'izil laa tanfa'ush shafaa'atu

    illaa man azina lahur Rahmaanu

    wa radiya lahoo qawlaa

    on that day shall not avail intercession
    except the one gave permission to him the Most Gracious
    and he approved for him word.

    is din kisi ki Shafaat kaam na de gi,
    magar is ki jise Rahman ne ijazat di hai
    aur is ki baat pasand farmai.

    20.110

    يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ
    وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِهِۦ عِلْمًا

    Ya'lamu maa bainaa aideehim wa maa khalfahum

    wa laa yauheetoona bihee 'ilmaa

    He Allah knows what is before them between their hands and what is behind them
    and they will not compass its knowledge.

    woh jaanta hai jo kuch un ke age hai aur jo kuch un ke peeche
    aur un ka ilm use nahi ghair sakta.

    20.111

     وَعَنَتِ ٱلْوُجُوهُ لِلْحَىِّ ٱلْقَيُّومِ ۖ

    وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ حَمَلَ ظُلْمًا

    Wa 'anatil wujoohu lil Haiiyil Qaiyoomi

    wa qad khaaba man hamala zulmaa

    and shall be humbled faces before the Ever-Living the Self Subsisting
    while indeed will be disppointed he who carried a burden of wrong-doing.

    aur sab munh jhuk jayen ge is zindah qaim rakhne wale ke huzoor
    aur beshak na muraad raha jis ne zulm ka boojh liya.

    20.112

     وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ
    فَلَا يَخَافُ ظُلْمًا وَلَا هَضْمًا

    Wa mai ya'mal minas saalihaati wa huwa mu'minun

    falaa yakhaafu zulmanw wa laa hadmaa

    and who works from righteous deeds and he is a believer
    then he will not fear wrong nor curtainlment.

    aur jo kuch naik kaam kere aur ho musalman
    to use na ziyati ka khauf ho ga aur na nuqsaan ka.

    20.113

    وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ قُرْءَانًا عَرَبِيًّا
    وَصَرَّفْنَا فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلْوَعِيدِ
    لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ
    أَوْ يُحْدِثُ لَهُمْ ذِكْرًا

    Wa kazaalika anzalnaahu Qur-aanan 'Arabiyyanw

    wa sarrafnaa fee hi minal wa'eedi

    la'allahum yattaqoona

    aw yuhdisu lahum zikraa

    and thus we have sent it down as a Qur’an in Arabic
    and have explained in detail therein from of the threats of warnings
    that they may avoid Allah
    or may generate in them admonition.

    aur yunhen ham ne use arabi quran utaara
    aur is me tarah tarah se azaab ke waade diye
    ke kahen unhen dar ho
    ya un ke dil me kuch soch paida kare.

    20.114

     فَتَعَٰلَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۗ
    وَلَا تَعْجَلْ بِٱلْقُرْءَانِ
    مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُقْضَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ وَحْيُهُۥ ۖ
    وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِى عِلْمًا

    Fata'aalal laahul Malikul Haqq;

    wa laa ta'jal bil Quraani

    min qabli ai yuqdaaa ilaika wahyuhoo

    wa qur Rabbi zidnee 'ilmaa

    then hingh above all is Allah the True king
    and be in not haste with the Qur’an
    before that is completed to you its revelation
    and you say: “My Raub increase me in knowledge” 

    to sab se buland hai Allah sacha badeshah
    aur quran me jaldi na karo
    jab tak is ki wahi tumhe poori na hule
    aur arz karo ke ae mere rab! mujhe ilm ziyada de.

    20.115

    وَلَقَدْ عَهِدْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ ءَادَمَ مِن قَبْلُ

    فَنَسِىَ وَلَمْ نَجِدْ  لَهُۥ  عَزْمًا

    Wa laqad 'ahidnaaa ilaaa Aadama min qablu

    fanasiya wa lam najid lahoo 'azmaa 

    and indeed we made a covenant to with Audeim before
    then he forgot and we found not for in him firm will-power.

    aur beshak ham ne aadam ko is se pahle ek takeedi hukum diya tha
    to woh bhool gaya aur ham ne is ka qased na paaya.

    20.116

    وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِءَادَمَ
    فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ

    Wa iz qulnaa lilma laaa'ikatis judoo li Aadama

    fasajadooo illaaa Iblees; abaa

    and when we said to the angels prostrate yourselves to Audeim,
    they prostrated except Iblis, he refused.

    aur jab ham ne farishton se farmaya ke aadam ko sajda karo
    to sab sajda me gire magar iblees, us ne na mana.

    20.117

    فَقُلْنَا يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ إِنَّ هَٰذَا عَدُوٌّ لَّكَ وَلِزَوْجِكَ
    فَلَا يُخْرِجَنَّكُمَا مِنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ فَتَشْقَىٰٓ

    Faqulnaa yaaa Aadamu inna haazaa 'aduwwul laka wa lizawjika

    falaa yukhrijan nakumaa minal Jannati fatashqaa

    then we said: “O Adam verily this is an enemy to you and to your wife.
    So not let him expel you both from Paradise so that you be distressed.

    to ham ne farmaya, ae aadam! beshak yeh tera aur teri bi bi ka dushman hai
    to aisa na ho ke woh tum dono ko jannat se nikaal de phir to mashaqqat me parhe.

    20.118

    إِنَّ لَكَ أَلَّا تَجُوعَ فِيهَا وَلَا تَعْرَىٰ

    Innaa laka allaa tajoo'a feeha wa laa ta'raa

    verily for you is a promise from us that never you will be hungry therein nor you will be naked.

    beshak tere liye jannat me yeh hai ke na to bhooka ho aur na nanga ho.

    20.119

    وَأَنَّكَ لَا تَظْمَؤُا۟ فِيهَا وَلَا تَضْحَىٰ

    Wa annaka laa tazma'u feehaa wa laa tadhaa

    and that you not shall suffer from thirst therein nor you shall suffer from the sun.

    aur yeh ke tujhe na is me pyaas lage na dhoop.

    20.120

     فَوَسْوَسَ إِلَيْهِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ
    قَالَ يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ هَلْ أَدُلُّكَ عَلَىٰ شَجَرَةِ ٱلْخُلْدِ
    وَمُلْكٍ لَّا يَبْلَىٰ

    Fa waswasa ilaihish Shaitaanu

    qaala yaaa Aadamu hal adulluka 'alaa shajaratil khuldi

    wa mulkil laa yablaa

    then whispered to him satan,
    he said: O Adam! Shall I lead you on to tree of etemity
    and to a kingdom not that will waste away?

    to shaitan ne use waswasa diya
    bola, ae aadam! kya my tumhe bata doon hamesha jeene ka pawde
    aur woh badeshahi ke purani na parhe.

    20.121

    فَأَكَلَا مِنْهَا
    فَبَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْءَٰتُهُمَا
    وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِن وَرَقِ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۚ
    وَعَصَىٰٓ ءَادَمُ رَبَّهُۥ
    فَغَوَىٰ

    Fa akalaa minhaa

    fabadat lahumaa saw aatuhumaa

    wa tafiqaa yakhsifaani 'alaihimaa minw waraqil jannah;

    wa 'asaaa Aadamu Rabbahoo

    faghawaa

    then they both ate from that
    so appeared to them their private parts
    and they began stick on themselves from with leaves paradise
    and disobeyed Audeim his Raub
    so He went astray.

    to un dono ne us me se kha liya
    ab un par un ki sharam ki cheezen zahir huien
    aur jannat ke patte apne upar chipkane lage
    aur aadam se apne rab ke hukum me laghzish waqe hui
    to jo matlab chaha tha is ki raah na payi.

    20.122

    ثُمَّ ٱجْتَبَٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ
    فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ وَهَدَىٰ

    Summaj tabbahu Rabbuhoo

    fataaba 'alaihi wa hadaa

     

    then chose him his Raub
    then he turned with forgiveness to him and gave him guidance.

    phir us ke rab ne chunn liya
    to is par apni rahmat se rujoo farmai aur apne qurb khaas ki raah dikhayi.

    20.123

    قَالَ ٱهْبِطَا مِنْهَا جَمِيعًۢا ۖ
    بَعْضُكُمْ لِ بَعْضٍ  عَدُوٌّ ۖ
    فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُم مِّنِّى هُدًى
    فَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ هُدَاىَ
    فَلَا يَضِلُّ وَلَا يَشْقَىٰ

    Qaalah bita minhaa jamee'am

    ba'dukum liba'din 'aduww;

    fa immaa yaati yannakum minnee hudan

    amanit taba'a hudaaya

    falaa yadillu wa laa yashhqaa

    Allah said: “Get down you both herefrom together
    some of you to some others are an enemy”
    then if comes to you from me guidance
    then whoever followed my guidance
    neither he shall go astray nor he shall fail into distress.

    farmaya tum dono mil kar jannat se utro
    tum me ek dusre ka dushman hai,
    phir agar tum sab ko meri taraf se hidaayat aaye,
    to jo meri hidaayat ka pairo ho
    woh na bahke na badbakht ho.

    20.124

    وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِى
    فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا
    وَنَحْشُرُهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ أَعْمَىٰ

    Wa man a'rada 'an Zikree

    fa inna lahoo ma'eeshatan dankanw

    wa nahshuruhoo Yawmal Qiyaamati a'maa

    and whosoever turns away from my Remembrance
    then verily for him is a life of hardship
    and we shall raise up him on day of Resurrection blind.

    aur jis ne meri yaad se munh phera
    to beshak is ke liye tang zindagani hai
    aur ham use qayamat ke din andha uthayen ge.

    20.125

    قَالَ رَبِّ لِمَ حَشَرْتَنِىٓ أَعْمَىٰ
    وَقَدْ كُنتُ بَصِيرًا

    Qaala Rabbi lima hashar tanee a'maa

    wa qad kuntu baseeraa

     

    He will say: O my Raub why you raised me up blind?
    And indeed I had sight.

    kahe ga ae rab mere! mujhe to ne kyun andha uthaya
    aur my to ankhiyara tha.

    20.126

     قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ أَتَتْكَ ءَايَٰتُنَا
    فَنَسِيتَهَا ۖ
    وَكَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ تُنسَىٰ

    Qaala kazaalika atatka Aayaatunaa

    fanaseetahaa

    wa kazaalikal Yawma tunsaa

    Allah will say: like this came into you our Auyaats
    but you forgot them
    and so this day you will be neglected.

    farmaye ga yuhin tere paas hamari ayaaten aye thin
    to ne unhen bhula diya
    aur aise hi aaj to bhola diya jaye ga

    20.127

    وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى مَنْ أَسْرَفَ
    وَلَمْ يُؤْمِنۢ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِۦ
    ۚ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ

    Wa kazaalika najzee man asrafa

    wa lam yu'mim bi Aayaati Rabbih;

    wa la'azaabul Aakhirati ashaddu wa abqaa

    and thus we requite him who transgresses
    and not believes in the Auyaats of his Raub
    and surely torment of the Hereafter is more severe and more lasting. 

    aur ham aisa hi badla dete hain jo had se barhe
    aur apne rab ki ayaaton par imaan na laaye,
    aur beshak akhirat ka azaab sab se sakht tar aur sab se dairpa hai.

    20.128

     أَفَلَمْ يَهْدِ لَهُمْ
    كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ
    يَمْشُونَ فِى مَسَٰكِنِهِمْ ۗ
    إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّأُو۟لِى ٱلنُّهَىٰ

    Afalam yahdi lahum

    kam ahlaknaa qablahum minal qurooni

    yamshoona fee masaakinihim;

    inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil li ulinnuhaa

     

    has he not guided them?
    how many we have destroyed before them from generations
    they walk in their dwellings.
    Verily in this are signs for men of understanding.

    to kya unhen us se raah na mili
    ke ham ne un se pahle kitni sangaten hilaak kar deen
    ke yeh un ke basne ki jagah chalte phirte hain
    beshak us me nishaniyan hain aqal walon ko.

    20.129

    وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ
    لَكَانَ لِزَامًا وَأَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى

    Wa law laa Kalimatun sabaqat mir Rabbika

    lakaana lizaamanw wa ajalum musammaa

    and had not a word has gone forth from your Raub,
    it the judgement would have been inevitable and a term determined.

    aur agar tumahre rab ki ek baat na guzar chuki hoti
    to zaroor azaab unhen lapat jata tha aur agar na hota ek wada thehraya huwa.

    20.130

    فَٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ
    وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ
    قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ ٱلشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا ۖ
    وَمِنْ ءَانَآئِ ٱلَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْ وَأَطْرَافَ ٱلنَّهَارِ
    لَعَلَّكَ تَرْضَىٰ

    Fasbir 'alaa maa yaqooloona

    wa sabbih bihamdi Rabbika

    qabla tuloo'ish shamsi wa qabla ghuroobihaa

    wa min aanaaa'il laili fasbbih wa atraafan nahaari

    la 'allaka tardaa

     

    so bear you patiently on with what they say
    and glorify the praises of your Raub
    before rising the sun and before its setting
    and so you glorify from during hours of the right and at ends of the day
    that you may become pleased. 

    to un ki baton par saber karo
    aur apne rab ko sarahte hue is ki paki balo 
    Sooraj chamakne se pahle aur is ke doobne se pahle
    aur raat ki gherhiyon me is ki paaki bolo aur din ke kinaron par
    is umeed par ke tum raazi ho.

    20.131

     وَلَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ
    إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجًا مِّنْهُمْ
    زَهْرَةَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا
    لِنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ ۚ
    وَرِزْقُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ

    Wa laa tamuddanna 'ainaika

    ilaa ma matta'na biheee azwajam minhum

    zahratal hayaatid dunya

    linaftinahum feeh;

    wa rizqu Rabbika khairunw wa abqaa

    and you not strain your eyes
    to for what we have given for enjoyment with it to various groups of them
    the splendour of the life worldly
    that we may test them thereby therein
    and provision of your Raub is best and more lasting.

    aur ae sunne wale apni ankhen na phaila
    is ki taraf jo ham ne kafiron ke jorhon ko baratne ke liye di hai
    jitni duniya ki taazgee
    ke ham unhen is ke sabab fitnah me dalen
    aur tere rab ka rizq sab se acha aur sab se dairpa hai.

    20.132

    وَأْمُرْ أَهْلَكَ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
    وَٱصْطَبِرْ عَلَيْهَا ۖ
    لَا نَسْـَٔلُكَ رِزْقًا ۖ
    نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُكَ ۗ
    وَٱلْعَٰقِبَةُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ

    Waamur ahlaka bis Salaati

    wastabir 'alaihaa

    la nas'aluka rizqaa;

    nahnu narzuquk;

    wal 'aaqibatu littaqwaa

    and command your family the prayer
    and be patient in
    it we not ask of you a provision
    we provide for you
    and the good end is for the pious.

    aur apne gher walon ko namaz ka hukum de
    aur khud is par saabit reh,
    kuch ham tujh se rozi nahi mangte
    ham tujhe rozi den ge
    aur anjaam ka bhala parhaiz gari ke liye.

    20.133

    وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَا يَأْتِينَا بِـَٔايَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦٓ
    ۚ أَوَلَمْ تَأْتِهِم بَيِّنَةُ مَا فِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ

    Wa qaaloo law laa yaateenaa bi Aayatim mmir Rabbih;

    Awalam taatihim baiyinatu maa fis suhufil oolaa

    and they say: “why not he brings us a auyat from his Raub
    has there not come to them proof of that which is in the former scriptures.

    aur kafir bole yeh apne rab ke paas se koi nishani kyun nahi laate
    aur kya unhen is ka bayan na aaya jo agle saheefon me hai.

    20.134

    وَلَوْ أَنَّآ أَهْلَكْنَٰهُم بِعَذَابٍ مِّن قَبْلِهِۦ

    لَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَوْلَآ أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولًا

    فَنَتَّبِعَ ءَايَٰتِكَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن نَّذِلَّ وَنَخْزَىٰ

    Wa law annaaa ahlaknaahum bi'azaabim min qablihee

    laqaaloo Rabbanaa law laaa arsalta ilainaa Rasoolan

    fanattabi's Aayaatika min qabli an nazilla wa nakhzaa

     

    and if we had destroyed them with a torment before this
    surely they would have said: Our Raub! Why not you sent to us a Prophet
    that we might have followed your Auyaats before that we were disgraced and we were humiliated.

    aur agar ham unhen kisi azaab se halaak kar dete rasool ke aane se pahle
    to zaroor kahte ae hamare rab! to ne hamari taraf koi rasool kyun na bheja
    ke ham teri ayaton par chalte qabal is ke ke zaleel o ruswa hote.

    20.135

    قُلْ كُلٌّ مُّتَرَبِّصٌ فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ ۖ
    فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ ٱلسَّوِىِّ
    وَمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ
     

    Qul kullum mutarabbisun fatarabbasoo

    fasta'lamoona man Ashaabus Siraatis Sawiyyi

    wa manih tadaa 

    Say: “Each one is waiting so wait you too,
    then you shall know who are the owners of the straight way
    and who has walked aright.

    tum farmao sab raah dekh rahe hain to tum bhi raah dekho
    to ab jaan jao ge ke kaon hain seedhi raah wale
    aur kis ne hidaayat payi.

    20.190

    65. قَالُوا۟ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِمَّآ أَن تُلْقِىَ وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَلْقَىٰ

    1. Qaaloo yaa Moosaaa immaaa an tulqiya wa immaaa an nakoona awala man alqaa
    2.  

    He Moosaa said: “nay throw you” then behold their ropes and their sticks appear to him by their magic that they are moving fast.


    ( 66 ) moose ne kaha balke tumhe daalo jbhi un ki rasiyaan aur lathiyan un ke jadu ke zor se un ke khayaal me daurti maloom huie.

    20.201

    99. كَذَٰلِكَ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ مَا قَدْ سَبَقَ ۚ وَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَٰكَ مِن لَّدُنَّا ذِكْرًا

    1. Kazaalika naqussu 'alaika min ambaaa'i maa qad sabaq; wa qad aatainaaka mil ladunnaa Zikraa
    2.  

    thus we relate to you from some information of what happened before and indeed we have given you from us a reminder the Qur’an.
