    سورة الأنبياء
    Total Ayaat: 112
    Language


    21.1

    ٱقْتَرَبَ لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُهُمْ
    وَهُمْ فِى غَفْلَةٍ مُّعْرِضُونَ

    Iqtaraba linnaasi hisaa buhum

    wa hum fee ghaflatim mu'ridoon

    Draves near for mankind their reckoning.
    While they turn away in heedlessness.

    logon ka hisaab nazdeek hai
    aur woh ghaflat me mun phere hain

    21.2

    مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِم مُّحْدَثٍ
    إِلَّا ٱسْتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ

    Maa yaateehim min zikrim mir Rabbihim muhdasin

    illas tama'oohu wa hum yal'aboon

    Comes not unto them an admonition from their Raub as a recent revalation
    but they listen to it while they play.

    jab un ke rab ke paas se unhen koi nayi naseehat aati hai
    to use nahi sunte magar khelte hue.

    21.3

    لَاهِيَةً قُلُوبُهُمْ ۗ
    وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّجْوَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟
    هَلْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ ۖ
    أَفَتَأْتُونَ ٱلسِّحْرَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ

    Laahiyatan quloobuhum;

    wa asarrun najwal lazeena zalamoo

    hal haazaa illaa basharum mislukum

    Afataa toonas sihra wa antum tubsiroon

    their hearst being in a light mood occupied
    and they conceal or keep secret the private counsels those who do wrong
    what is that but a human being like you?
    will you go to to magic? While you see it.

    un ke dil khel me parhe hain
    aur zaalmon ne aapas me khufia mushwarat ki
    ke yeh kon hain ek tum hi jaise aadmi
    to hain kya jadu ke paas jate ho dekh bhaal kar.

    21.4

    قَالَ رَبِّى يَعْلَمُ ٱلْقَوْلَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ
    وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

    Qaala Rabbee ya'lamul qawla fis samaaa'i wal ardi

    wa Huwas Samee'ul Aleem

    He said: “My Raub knows the word in the heavens and the earth.”
    and He The All Hearing One  The Omniscient 

    nabi ne farmaya mera rab jaanta hai asmano aur zameen mein har baat ko,
    aur wohi hai sunta jaanta.

    21.5

    بَلْ قَالُوٓا۟ أَضْغَٰثُ أَحْلَٰمٍۭ
    بَلِ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ
    بَلْ هُوَ شَاعِرٌ
    فَلْيَأْتِ نَا  بِـَٔايَةٍ كَمَآ أُرْسِلَ ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ

    Bal qaalooo adghaasu ahlaamim

    balif taraahu

    bal huwa shaa'irun

    falyaatinaa bi Aayatin kamaa ursilal awwaloon

    They said: “ Nay!” Mysterious dreams,
    nay he has invented it,
    nay he is a poet!
    “let him then bring us auyat as were sent the ancients.”

    balke bole pareshan khawaben hai
    balke un ki ghadat hai
    balke yeh shayar hain
    to hamare paas koi nishani layein
    jaise ke agle bheje gaye the.

    21.6

    مَآ ءَامَنَتْ قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَٰهَآ ۖ
    أَفَهُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ

    Maaa aaamanat qablahum min qaryatin ahlaknaahaa

    A-fahum yu'minoon

    before them one of town which we have destroyed not believed
    will they then believe?

    un se pehle koi basti imaan na layi jise hum ne halaak kya,
    to kya yeh imaan layein ge.

    21.7

    وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوحِىٓ إِلَيْهِمْ ۖ
    فَسْـَٔلُوٓا۟ أَهْلَ ٱلذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ  لَا  تَعْلَمُونَ

    Wa maaa arsalnaa qablaka illaa rijaalan nooheee ilaihim

    fas'aloo ahlaz zikri in kuntum laa ta'lamoon

    and we not sent before you but men we revealed to them.
    if you did not know so you ask the people of the reminder.

    aur hum ne tum se pehle na bheje magar mard jinhein hum wahi karte
    to ae logo! ilm walon se pucho agar tumhe ilm nah ho.

    21.8

     وَمَا جَعَلْنَٰهُمْ جَسَدًا لَّا يَأْكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ
    وَمَا كَانُوا۟ خَٰلِدِينَ

    Wa maa ja'alnaahum jasadal laa yaakuloonat ta'aama

    wa maa kaanoo khaalideen

    and we not made them bodies that not eat the food,
    nor they were immortals.

    aur hum ne inhen khaali badan na banaya ke khana nah khayen
    aur na woh duniya mein hamesha rahen.

    21.9

    ثُمَّ صَدَقْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْوَعْدَ
    فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُمْ وَمَن نَّشَآءُ
    وَأَهْلَكْنَا ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ

    summa sadaqnaa humul wa'da

    fa-anjainaahum wa man nashaaa'u

    wa ahlaknal musrifeen

    then we fulfilled to them the promise
    so we saved them and those whom we willed
    and we destroyed the extravaganst.

    phir hum ne apna wada inhen sacha kar dekhaya
    to inhen nijaat di aur jin ko chahi
    aur had se barhne walon ko halaak kar diya.

    21.10

    لَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكُمْ كِتَٰبًا فِيهِ ذِكْرُكُمْ ۖ
    أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

    Laqad anzalnaaa ilaikum Kitaaban feehi zikrukum

    Afalaa ta'qiloon

    indeed we have sent down to you a scripture in which is your reminder 
    will then not you understand?

    beshak hum ne tumhari taraf ek kitaab utari jis me tumhari namwari hai
    to kya tumhe aqal nahi.

    21.11

    وَكَمْ قَصَمْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ كَانَتْ ظَالِمَةً
    وَأَنشَأْنَا بَعْدَهَا قَوْمًا ءَاخَرِينَ

    Wa kam qasamnaa min qaryatin kannat zaalimatanw

    wa anshadnaa ba'dahaa qawman aakhareen

    and how many we have destroyed from a town that was doing-wrong
    and raised up after them another people.

    aur kitni hi bastiyan hum ne tabah kar den ke woh sitamgar theen
    aur un ke baad aur qoum paida ki.

    21.12

    فَلَمَّآ أَحَسُّوا۟ بَأْسَنَآ إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَرْكُضُونَ

    Falammaaa ahassoo baasanaaa izaaa hum minhaa yarkudoon

    then when they perceived our torment behold they flee from it.

    to jab unhon ne hamara azaab paaya jabhi woh is se bhagne lage.

    21.13

    لَا تَرْكُضُوا۟
    وَٱرْجِعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَآ أُتْرِفْتُمْ فِيهِ
    وَمَسَٰكِنِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْـَٔلُونَ

    Laa tarkudoo

    warji'ooo ilaa maaa utriftum feehe

    wa masaakinikum la'allakum tus'aloon

    not you flee!
    But return to what you have a luxurious life in it
    and to your homes in order that you may be questioned. 

    na bhago
    aur lout ke jao un aaseshon ki taraf jo tum ko di gayeen thi
    aur apne makano ki taraf shayad tum se puchna ho.

    21.14

    قَالُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ

    Qaaloo yaa wailanaaa innaa kunnaa zaalimeen

    they said: “woe to us surely we have been wrong-doers”.

    bole haae kharabi hamari beshak hum zalim the.

    21.15

    فَمَا زَالَت تِّلْكَ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ
    حَتَّىٰ جَعَلْنَٰهُمْ حَصِيدًا خَٰمِدِينَ

    Famaa zaalat tilka da'waahum

    hattaa ja'alnaahum haseedan khaamideen

    then not ceased that cry of theirs
    till we made them as afiled that is reaped.

    to woh yahi pukarte rahe
    yahan tak ke hum ne inhen kar diya kate huwe bujhe huwe.

    21.16

    وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَٰعِبِينَ

    Wa maa khalaqnas samaaa'a wal arda wa maa bainahumaa laa'ibeen

    and we not created the heavens and the earth and what between them as players.

    aur hum ne aasman aur zameen aur jo kuch un ke darmiyan hai abas na banaye.

    21.17

    لَوْ أَرَدْنَآ أَن نَّتَّخِذَ لَهْوًا
    لَّٱتَّخَذْنَٰهُ مِن لَّدُنَّآ
    إِن كُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ

    Law aradnaaa an nattakhiza lahwal

    lat takhaznaahu mil ladunnaaa

    in kunnaa faa'ileen

    Had we intented that we take a pastime
    surely we could have taken it from us.
    If we were going to do.

    agar hum koi behlawa ikhtiyar karna chahte
    to apne paas se ikhtiyar karte
    agar hamein karna hota.

    21.18

    بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِٱلْحَقِّ عَلَى ٱلْبَٰطِلِ

    فَيَدْمَغُهُۥ فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌ ۚ

    وَلَكُمُ ٱلْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ

    Bal naqzifu bilhaqqi 'alal baatili

    fa yadmaghuhoo fa izaa huwa zaahiq;

    wa lakumul wailu mimmaa tasifoon

    Nay, we fling the truth against the falsehood
    so it destroys it out then when it is vanished
    and woe to you for that which you ascribe!

    balke hum haq ko baatil par pheink maarte hain
    to woh is ka bhejah nikaal deta hai to jbhi woh mit kar reh jata hai
    aur tumhari kharabi hai un baton se jo banate ho.

    21.19

    وَلَهُۥ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ
    وَمَنْ عِندَهُۥ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِۦ
    وَلَا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ

    Wa lahoo man fis samaawaati wal ard;

    wa man 'indahoo laa yastakbiroona 'an 'ibaada tihee

    wa laa yastahsiroon

    and belongs to him whosoever is in the heavens and the earth
    and those who are near him they not are proud to refrain from worshiping him
    nor they are weary.

    aur isi ke hain jitne asmano aur zameen me hain
    aur us ke paas walay is ki ibadat se takkabur nahi karte
    aur na thaken.

    21.20

    يُسَبِّحُونَ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ لَا يَفْتُرُونَ

    Yusabbihoona laila wannahaara laa yafturoon

    they glorify him night and day, never they slacken.

    raat din us ki paki bolte hain aur susti nahi karte.

    21.21

    أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ ءَالِهَةً مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ
    هُمْ يُنشِرُونَ

    Amit takhazooo aalihatam minal ardi

    hum yunshiroon

    or they have taken for worship gods from the earth
    who raise the dead?

    kya unhon ne zameen mein se kuch aise kkhuda bana liye hain
    ke woh kuch paida karte hain.

    21.22

    لَوْ كَانَ فِيهِمَآ ءَالِهَةٌ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَا ۚ
    فَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

    Law kaana feehimaaa aalihatun illal laahu lafasadataa;

    fa-Subhaanal laahi Rabbil 'Arshi 'ammaa yasifoon

    Had there been therein gods besides Allah surely would both have been ruined,
    then glorified is Allah Raub of the throne Arsh high above what they attribute to him.

    agar aasman o zameen mein Allah ke siwa aur khuda hote to zaroor woh tabah ho jate
    to paki hai Allah arsh ke maalik ko un baton se jo yeh banate hain.

    21.23

    لَا يُسْـَٔلُ عَمَّا يَفْعَلُ
    وَهُمْ يُسْـَٔلُونَ

    Laa yus'alu 'ammaa yaf'alu

    wa hum yus'aloon

    Not he can be questioned as to what he does,
    while they will be questioned.

    us se nahi poocha jata jo woh kere
    aur un sab se sawal ho ga.

    21.24

    أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً ۖ
    قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ ۖ
    هَٰذَا ذِكْرُ مَن مَّعِىَ
    وَذِكْرُ مَن قَبْلِى ۗ
    بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ ۖ
    فَهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ

    Amit takhazoo min doonihee aalihatan

    qul haatoo burhaanakum

    haaza zikru mam ma'iya

    wa zikru man qablee;

    bal aksaruhum laa ya'lamoonal haqqa

    fahum mu'ridoon

    or they taken gods for worship besides him?
    You say: “bring your proof”.
    This is reminder for those who are with me
    and reminder for those before me.
    But! Most of them not know the truth
    so they are awarse.

    kya Allah ke siwa aur khuda bana rakhe hain,
    tum farmao apni Daleel lao
    yeh quran mere sath walon ka zikar hai
    aur mujh se aglo ka tazkara
    balke un mein aksar haq ko nahi jante
    to woh ro gardan, hain.

    21.25

    وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٍ
    إِلَّا نُوحِىٓ إِلَيْهِ
    أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠
    فَٱعْبُدُونِ

    Wa maaa arsalnaa min qablika mir Rasoolin

    illaa nooheee ilaihi

    annahoo laaa ilaaha illaaa Ana

    fa'budoon

    and we not sent before you from any Prophet Rasool
    but we revealed to him
    that there is no gods but I
    so worship me.

    aur hum ne tum se pehle koi rasool na bheja
    magar yeh ke hum is ki taraf wahi farmate
    ke mere siwa koi mabood nahi
    to mujhi ko pujo.

    21.26

    وَقَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَلَدًا ۗ

    سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ ۚ

    بَلْ عِبَادٌ مُّكْرَمُونَ

    Wa qaalut takhazar Rahmaanu waladan

    Subhaanah;

    bal 'ibaadum mkkramoon

    and they said: “has begotten the Most Gracious Ar-Rauhmaun.
    Glory to him they are
    but honoured slaves.

    aur bole Rehman ne beta ikhtiyar kya
    pak hai woh
    balke bande hain izzat wale. 

    21.27

    لَا يَسْبِقُونَهُۥ بِٱلْقَوْلِ
    وَهُم بِأَمْرِهِۦ يَعْمَلُونَ

    Laa yasbiqoonahoo bil qawli

    wa hum bi amrihee ya'maloon

    they not precede him in word
    and they act by his command.

    baat mein is se Sabqat nahi karte
    aur woh isi ke hukum par kaar band hote hain.

    21.28

     يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ
    وَلَا يَشْفَعُونَ إِلَّا لِمَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ
    وَهُم مِّنْ خَشْيَتِهِۦ مُشْفِقُونَ

    Ya'lamu maa baina aideehim wa maa khalfahum

    wa laa yashfa'oona illaa limanir tadaa

    wa hum min khash yatihee mushfiqoon

    He knows what is before them and what is behind them
    and they not intercede except for him whom He is pleased with
    and they stand in awe from fear of Him.

    woh jaanta hai jo un ke age hai aur jo un ke peeche hai
    aur Shafaat nahi karte magar is ke liye jise woh pasand farmaiye
    aur woh is ke khauf se dar rahe hain.

    21.29

     وَمَن يَقُلْ مِنْهُمْ إِنِّىٓ إِلَٰهٌ مِّن دُونِهِۦ
    فَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِيهِ جَهَنَّمَ ۚ
    كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

    Wa mai yaqul minhum inneee ilaahum min doonihee

    fazaalika najzeehi Jahannam;

    kazaalika najziz zaalimeen

    and whosoever of them says: “verily I am a god besides Him”
    then such we will recom pense him with hell,
    thus we recompense the wrong-doers.

    aur un mein jo koi kahe ke mei Allah ke siwa mabood hon
    to use hum jahannum ki jaza den ge,
    hum aisi hi saza dete hain sitamgaro ko.

    21.30

    أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟
    أَنَّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا
    فَفَتَقْنَٰهُمَا ۖ
    وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ حَىٍّ ۖ
    أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

    Awalam yaral lazeena kafarooo

    annas samaawaati wal arda kaanataa ratqan

    faftaqnaahumaa

    wa ja'alnaa minal maaa'i kulla shai'in haiyin afalaa yu'minoon

    have not seen those who disbelieved?
    That the heavens and the earth were joined together
    then we parted them
    and we have made from water every thing living then will not they believe?

    kya kafiroon ne yeh khayaal nah kya
    ke aasman aur zameen band the
    to hum ne inhen khoola
    aur hum ne har jandaar cheez pani se banai
    to kya woh imaan na layin ge.

    21.31

    وَجَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ رَوَٰسِىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِهِمْ
    وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا فِجَاجًا سُبُلًا
    لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ

    Wa ja'alnaa fil ardi rawaasiya an tameeda bihim

    wa ja'alnaa feehaa fijaajan subulal

    la'allahum yahtadoon

    and we have made placed in on the earth firm mountains lest it should shake
    and we have made therein broad highways
    that they may be guided.

    aur zameen mein hum ne langar daale ke unhein le kar nah kaanpe
    aur hum ne us mein kushadah rahein rakhen
    ke kahin woh raah payen.

    21.32

    وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ سَقْفًا مَّحْفُوظًا ۖ
    وَهُمْ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِهَا مُعْرِضُونَ

    Wa ja'alnas samaaa'a saqfam mahfoozanw

    wa hum 'an Aayaatihaa mu'ridoon

    and we have made the heaven a roof safe and well guarden
    yet they turn away from its signs auyaats.

    aur hum ne aasman ko chhat banaya nigah rakhi gayi
    aur woh is ki nishanion se rugardan hain.

    21.33

    وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ ۖ
    كُلٌّ فِى فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ

    Wa Huwal lazee khalaqal laila wannahaara washshamsa wal qamara

    kullun fee falakiny yashbahoon

    and he it is who has created the night and the sun and the moon
    each in an orbit floating.

    aur wohi hai jis ne banaye raat aur din aur Sooraj aur chaand
    har ek ek ghaire mein phir raha hai.

    21.34

    وَمَا جَعَلْنَا لِبَشَرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ ٱلْخُلْدَ
    ۖ أَفَإِي۟ن مِّتَّ فَهُمُ ٱلْخَٰلِدُونَ

    Wa maa ja'alnaa libasharim min qablikal khuld;

    Afaimmitta fahumul khaalidoon

    and we not have made to any human being before you immortality
    then if you die then would they immortality? 

    aur hum ne tum se pehle kisi aadmi ke liye duniya mein hameshgi nah banai
    to kya agar tum intiqaal farmao to yeh hamesha rahen ge.

    21.35

    كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۗ
    وَنَبْلُوكُم بِٱلشَّرِّ وَٱلْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةً ۖ
    وَإِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ

    Kullu nafsin zaaa'iqatul mawt;

    wa nablookum bishsharri walkhairi fitnatanw

    wa ilainaa turja'oon

    Every one is going to taste death
    and we shall try you with evil and good as atemptation
    and to us you will be retuned.

    har jaan ko mout ka maza chakhna hai,
    aur hum tumhari azmaish karte hain buraiee aur bhalai se jhanchne ko
    aur hamari hi taraf tumhe lout kar aana hai.

    21.36

    وَإِذَا رَءَاكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟
    إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا
    أَهَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى يَذْكُرُ ءَالِهَتَكُمْ
    وَهُم بِذِكْرِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ هُمْ كَٰفِرُونَ

    Wa izaa ra aakal lazeena kafarooo

    iny-yattakhizoonaka illa huzuwaa;

    ahaazal lazee yazkuru aalihatakum

    wa hum bi zikrir Rahmaani hum kaafiroon

    and when those who disbelieved see you
    they take you except for mockery
    “is this one who talks about your gods?”
    while they disbelieve at the mention the most gracious”.

    aur jab kafir tumhe dekhte hain
    to tumhe nahi tahrate magar thatha
    kya yeh hain woh jo tumahre khudaon ko bura kehte hain
    aur woh Rehman hi ki yaad se munkir hain.

    21.37

    خُلِقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مِنْ عَجَلٍ ۚ
    سَأُو۟رِيكُمْ ءَايَٰتِى
    فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونِ

    Khuliqal insaanu min 'ajal;

    sa ureekum Aayaatee

    falaa tasta'jiloon

    Man is created of haste.
    I will show you My signs auyaats
    so ask me not to hasten.

    aadmi jald baz banaya gaya,
    ab mein tumhe apni nishaniyan dikhao ga
    mujh se jaldi nah karo.

    21.38

    وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ
    إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

    Wa yaqooloona mataa haazal wa'du

    in kuntum saadiqeen

    and they say: “when this promise will cometo pass
    if you are truthful”.

    aur kehte hain kab ho ga yeh wada
    agar tum sache ho.

    21.39

    لَوْ يَعْلَمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟
    حِينَ لَا يَكُفُّونَ عَن وُجُوهِهِمُ ٱلنَّارَ
    وَلَا عَن ظُهُورِهِمْ
    وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ

    Law ya'lamul lazeena kafaroo

    heena laa yakuffoona 'anw wujoohihimun Naara

    wa laa 'an zuhoorihim

    wa laa hum yunsaroon

    if knew those who disbelieved
    when the time they will not ward off from their faces
    anor from their backs
    and they will not be helped.

    kisi tarah jante kafir
    is waqt ko jab nah rok saken ge apne mohon se aag 
    aur na apni pithon se
    aur nah un ki madad ho.

    21.40

    بَلْ تَأْتِيهِم بَغْتَةً فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ
    فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ رَدَّهَا
    وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ

    Bal taateehim baghtatan fatabhatuhum

    falaa yastatee'oona raddahaa

    wa laa hum yunzaroon

    Nay it will come upon them a sudden then will perplex them.
    so they will not be able to avert it 
    nor they will get respite.

    balke woh un par achanak aa parhe gi to inhen be hawaas kar day gi
    phir nah woh use phair saken ge
    aur nah inhen mohlat di jaye gi.

    21.41

    وَلَقَدِ ٱسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ
    فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا۟ مِنْهُم
    مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ

    Wa laqadis tuhzi'a bi-Rusulim min qablika

    fahaaqa billazeena sakhiroo minhum

    maa kaanoo bihee yastahzi'oon

     

    and indeed were mocked with Prophets rusul before from you
    then sorrounded those who mocked from them
    what they used to at it mock. 

    aur beshak tum se agle rasoolon ke sath thatha kya gaya
    to maskhargi karne walon ko le baitha 
    woh thatha jo woh kiya kerte the.

    21.42

    قُلْ مَن يَكْلَؤُكُم بِٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ مِنَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ۗ
    بَلْ هُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِم مُّعْرِضُونَ

    Qul mai yakla 'ukum billaili wannahaari minar Rahmaan;

    bal hum 'an zikri Rabbihim mu'ridoon

    You say: who will protect you in the night and the day from The Most Graciou ,
    nay but! They turn away from the remembrance of their Raub.


    tum farmao Shabana roz tumhari kon nigehbani karta hai Rehman se
    balke woh apne rab ki yaad se mun phere hain.

    21.43

    أَمْ لَهُمْ ءَالِهَةٌ تَمْنَعُهُم مِّن دُونِنَا
    ۚ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَ أَنفُسِهِمْ
    وَلَا هُم مِّنَّا يُصْحَبُونَ

    Am lahum aalihatun tamna'uhum min dooninaa;

    laa yastatee'oona nasra anfusihim

    wa laa hum minnna yus-haboon

    or they have gods for them, who can guard them from us
    they have no power to help themselves
    nor they can protected from us.

    kya un ke kuch kkhuda hain jo un ko hum se bachate hain
    woh apni hi jaano ko nahi bacha satke
    aur na hamari taraf se un ki yaari ho.

    21.44

    بَلْ مَتَّعْنَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَءَابَآءَهُمْ
    حَتَّىٰ طَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْعُمُرُ ۗ
    أَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ
    أَنَّا نَأْتِى ٱلْأَرْضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَآ ۚ
    أَفَهُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ

    Bal matta'naa haaa'ulaaa'i wa aabaaa'ahum

    hattaa taala 'alaihimul 'umur;

    Afalaa yarawna

    anna naatil arda nanqusuhaa min atraafihaa;

    Afahumul ghaaliboon

    Nay we gave luxuires to these people and their fathers
    until grew long the life upon them
    then did they not see?
    That we come to the land we reduce it from its outlying borders.
    Is it then they who will overcome?

    balke hum ne un ko aur un ke baap dada ko bartawa diya
    yahan tak ke zindagi un par daraaz hui
    to kya nahi dekhte
    ke hum zameen ko is ke kinaroon se ghataate aa rahe hain
    to kya yeh ghalib hon ge.

    21.45

    قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أُنذِرُكُم بِٱلْوَحْىِ ۚ
    وَلَا يَسْمَعُ ٱلصُّمُّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ إِذَا مَا يُنذَرُونَ

    Qul innamaaa unzirukum bilwahyi;

    wa laa yasma'us summud du'aaa'a izaa maa yunzaroon

    You say: “Only I warn you by the revalation”
    but the daf will not hear the call they are warned when.

    tum farmao ke mein tum ko sirf wahi se darata hon
    aur behre pukarna nahi sunte jab daray jayen.

    21.46

    وَلَئِن مَّسَّتْهُمْ نَفْحَةٌ مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّكَ
    لَيَقُولُنَّ يَٰوَيْلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ

    Wa la'im massat hum nafhatum min 'azaabi Rabbika

    la yaqoolunna yaawailanaaa innnaa kunnaa zaalimeen

    and if your Raub touches them a breath of torment,
    surely they will say: “cery woe to us verily we have been wrong-doers.”

    aur agar inhen tumahre rab ke azaab ki hawa chhoo jaye
    to zaroor kahen ge haae kharabi hamari beshak hum zalim the.

    21.47

    وَنَضَعُ ٱلْمَوَٰزِينَ ٱلْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
    فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْـًٔا ۖ
    وَإِن كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا ۗ
    وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَٰسِبِينَ

    Wa nada'ul mawaazeenal qista li Yawmil Qiyaamati

    falaa tuzlamu nafsun shai'aa;

    wa in kaana misqaala habbatim min khardalin atainaa bihaa;

    wa kafaa binaa haasibeen

    and we shall set up the balances of justice on the day of resurrection
    then will not be dealt with unjustly one at all,
    and if there be weight seed of mustard we will bring it,
    and suffice are we as reckoners, 

    aur hum Adal ke tarazuwen rakhen ge qayamat ke din
    to kisi jaan par kuch zulm nah ho ga,
    aur agar koi cheez rai ke dana ke barabar ho to hum use le ayen ge,
    aur hum kaafi hain hisaab ko.

    21.48

    وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ ٱلْفُرْقَانَ
    وَضِيَآءً وَذِكْرًا لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ

    Wa laqad aatainaa Moosa wa haaroonal Furqaana

    wa diyaa'anw wa zikral lilmuttaqeen

    and indeed we granted Moses and Aaron the criterion
    and a shining light and a reminder for the pious persons.

    aur beshak hum ne moose aur Haroon ko faisla diya
    aur ujala aur parhaiz garon ko naseehat.

    21.49

     ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلْغَيْبِ
    وَهُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّاعَةِ مُشْفِقُونَ

    Allazeena yakhshawna Rabbahum bilghaibi

    wa hum minas Saa'ati mushfiqoon

    those who fear their Raub with unseen
    while they of the hour are afraid.

    woh jo be dekhe apne rab se darte hain

    aur inhen qayamat ka andesha laga howa hai.

    21.50

     وَهَٰذَا ذِكْرٌ مُّبَارَكٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ ۚ
    أَفَأَنتُمْ لَهُۥ مُنكِرُونَ

    Wa haazaa Zikrum Mubaarakun anzalnaah;

    Afa antum lahoo munkiroon 

    and this is a reminder blessed which we have sent down
    then are you deniers of it?

    aur yeh hai barket wala zikar ke hum ne utaara
    to kya tum is ke munkir ho

    21.51

    وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ رُشْدَهُۥ مِن قَبْلُ
    وَكُنَّا بِهِۦ عَٰلِمِينَ

    Wa laqad aatainaaa Ibraaheema rushdahoo min qablu

    wa kunnaa bihee 'aalimeen

    and indeed we gave Abraham his guidance aforetime
    and we were with him well-acquainted.

    aur beshak hum ne ibrahim ko pehle hi se is ki naik raah ataa kar di
    aur hum is se khabardaar the.

    21.52

    إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦ
    مَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلتَّمَاثِيلُ
    ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنتُمْ لَهَا عَٰكِفُونَ

    Iz qaala li abeehi wa qawmihee

    maa haazihit tamaaseel

    ul lateee antum lahee 'aakifoon

    when he said to his father and his people;
    what are these images
    which you to it are devoted?

    jab us ne apne baap aur qoum se kaha
    yeh moorten kya hain
    jin ke age tum aasen maare ho.

    21.53

    قَالُوا۟ وَجَدْنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا لَهَا عَٰبِدِينَ

    Qaaloo wajadnaaa aabaaa'anaa lahaa 'aabideen

    They said: “we found our fathers to them worshipping”.

    bole hum ne apne dada ko un ki pooja karte paaya.

    21.54

     قَالَ لَقَدْ كُنتُمْ أَنتُمْ وَءَابَآؤُكُمْ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ

    Qaala laqad kuntum antum wa aabaaa'ukum fee dalaalim mubeen

    he said: “indeed have been you and your fathers in manifest error.”

    kaha beshak tum aur tumahre baap dada sab khuli gumraahi me ho.

    21.55

    قَالُوٓا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ
    أَمْ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱللَّٰعِبِينَ

    Qaalooo Aji'tanaa bil haqqi

    am anta minal laa'ibeen

    They say: have you brought us the truth?
    Or you one of those who play? 

    bole kya tum hamare paas haq laaye ho
    yaa yuhin khailte ho.

    21.56

    قَالَ بَل رَّبُّكُمْ رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ
    ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَهُنَّ
    وَأَنَا۠ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ

    Qaala bar Rabbukum Rabbus samaawaati wal ard

    il lazee fatarahunna

    wa ana 'alaa zaalikum minash shaahideen

    They say: Nay your Raub is Raub of the heavens and the earth
    who created them
    and I to on that from among the witnesses.

    kaha balke tumhara rab woh hai jo rab hai aasman aur zameen ka
    jis ne inhen paida kya,
    aur mein is par gawahoon me se hon.

    21.57

    وَتَٱللَّهِ لَأَكِيدَنَّ أَصْنَٰمَكُم
    بَعْدَ أَن تُوَلُّوا۟ مُدْبِرِينَ

    Wa tallaahi la akeedanna asnaamakum

    ba'da an tuwalloo mudbireen

    and by Allah! Surely I shall plot a plan against your idols
    after that you have gone away and turned your backs.

    aur mujhe Allah ki qisam hai mein tumahre buton ka bura chahoon ga
    baad is ke ke tum phir jao peeth de kar.

    21.58

    فَجَعَلَهُمْ جُذَٰذًا
    إِلَّا كَبِيرًا لَّهُمْ
    لَعَلَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ يَرْجِعُونَ

    Faja'alahum juzaazan

    illaa kabeeral lahum

    la'allahum ilaihi yarji'oon

    so he made them fragments
    except the biggest of them
    that they might return to it.

    to un sab ko choora kar diya 
    magar aik ko jo un ka sab se barha tha
    ke shayad woh is se kuch pouchen.

    21.59

    قَالُوا۟ مَن فَعَلَ هَٰذَا بِـَٔالِهَتِنَآ
    إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

    Qaaloo man fa'ala haazaa bi aalihatinaaa

    innahoo laminaz zaalimeen

    They said: who has done this to our gods?
    Surely he is among the wrong-doers.

    bole kis ne hamare khudaon ke sath yeh kaam kya
    be shak woh zalim hai.

    21.60

    قَالُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا فَتًى يَذْكُرُهُمْ
    يُقَالُ لَهُۥٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ

    Qaaloo sami'naa fatany yazkuruhum

    yuqaalu lahooo Ibraaheem

    they said: we heard a young man talking against them.
    is called to him who Abraham.

    un mein ke kuch bole hum ne aik jawan ko inhen bura kehte suna
    jise ibrahim kehte hain.

    21.61

    قَالُوا۟ فَأْتُوا۟ بِهِۦ عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِ ٱلنَّاسِ
    لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْهَدُونَ

    Qaaloo faatoo bihee 'alaaa a'yunin naasi

    la'allahum yash hadoon

    They said: then hyou bring him on before of the people
    that they may bear witness.

    bole to use logon ke samne lao
    shayad woh gawahi den.

    21.62

     قَالُوٓا۟ ءَأَنتَ فَعَلْتَ هَٰذَا بِـَٔالِهَتِنَا يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ

    Qaalooo A-anta fa'alta haazaa bi aalihatinaa yaaa Ibraaheem

    They said: have you done this to our gods? O Abraham! 

    bole kya tum ne hamare khudaon ke sath yeh kaam kya ae Ibrahim.

    21.63

    قَالَ بَلْ فَعَلَهُۥ كَبِيرُهُمْ هَٰذَا
    فَسْـَٔلُوهُمْ إِن كَانُوا۟ يَنطِقُونَ

    Qaala bal fa'alahoo kabeeruhum haazaa

    fas'aloohum in kaanoo yantiqoon

    He said: Nay did it the biggest of them this.
    So you ask them if they can speak.

    farmaya balke un ke is barhe ne kya ho ga
    to un se pucho agar bolte hon.

    21.64

    فَرَجَعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ
    فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّكُمْ أَنتُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

    Faraja'ooo ilaaa anfusihim

    faqaalooo innakum antumuz zaalimoon

    so they turned to themselves,
    then they said verily you are the wrong-doers.

    to apne jee ki taraf palty
    aur bole beshak tumhe sitamgar ho.

    21.65

    ثُمَّ نُكِسُوا۟ عَلَىٰ رُءُوسِهِمْ
    لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يَنطِقُونَ

    Summa nukisoo 'alaa ru'oosihim

    laqad 'alimta maa haaa'ulaaa'i yantiqoon

    then they turned on to themselves their heads.
    Indeed you know, not those idols speak.

    phir apne saron ke bal ondhe gaye
    ke tumhe khoob maloom hai yeh bolte nahi.

    21.66

     قَالَ أَفَتَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ
    مَا لَا يَنفَعُكُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يَضُرُّكُمْ

    Qaala Afata'budoona min doonil laahi

    maa laa yanfa'ukum shai'anw wa laa yadurrukum

    say: do you then worship besides Allah?
    That which neither can profit you at all and nor harm you?

    kaha to kya Allah ke siwa aise ko pujte ho
    jo nah tumhe naffa den aur nah nuqsaan pohanchaye .

    21.67

    أُفٍّ لَّكُمْ وَلِمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ
    أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

    Uffil lakum wa limaa ta'budoona min doonil laah;

    Afalaa ta'qiloon

    Fie for upon you and for that which you worship besides Allah.
    Do not you thing?

    taf hai tum par aur un buton par jin ko Allah ke siwa pujte ho,
    to kya tumhe aqal nahi.

    21.68

     قَالُوا۟ حَرِّقُوهُ وَٱنصُرُوٓا۟ ءَالِهَتَكُمْ
    إِن كُنتُمْ فَٰعِلِينَ

    Qaaloo harriqooho wansurooo aalihatakum

    in kuntum faa'ileen

    They said: “Burn him and help your gods
    if you will be doing.”

    bole un ko jla do aur apne khudaon ki madad karoo
    agar tumhe karna hai.

    21.69

    قُلْنَا يَٰنَارُ كُونِى بَرْدًا وَسَلَٰمًا عَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ

    Qulnaa yaa naaru koonee bardanw wa salaaman 'alaaa Ibraaheem

    We said: “O fire be you coolness and safety on for Abraham”.

    hum ne farmaya ae aag ho ja thandhi aur salamti ibrahim par.

    21.70

    وَأَرَادُوا۟ بِهِۦ كَيْدًا
    فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْأَخْسَرِينَ

    Wa araadoo bihee kaidan

    faja'alnaahumul akhsareen

    and they wanted with him harm
    but we made them the worst losers.

    aur unhon ne is ka bura chaha
    to hum ne inhen sab se barh kar noqsan kar diya.

    21.71

     وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَلُوطًا إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ
    ٱلَّتِى بَٰرَكْنَا فِيهَا لِلْعَٰلَمِينَ

    Wa najjainaahu wa Lootan ilal ard

    il latee baaraknaa feehaa lil 'aalameen

    and we rescuded him and Lot to the land
    which we have blessed in it for the worlds.

    aur hum use aur Loot ko nijaat bakhsh is zameen ki taraf
    jis mein hum ne jahan walon ke liye barket rakhi.

    21.72

    وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ نَافِلَةً ۖ
    وَكُلًّا جَعَلْنَا صَٰلِحِينَ

    Wa wahabnaa lahooo Ishaaq; wa Ya'qooba naafilah;

    wa kullan ja'alnaa saaliheen

    and we bestoved upon him Isaag. And Jacob as an extra
    and each one we made righteous.

    aur hum ne use Ishaq ataa farmaya aur Yaqoob pota,
    aur hum ne un sab ko apne qurb e khaas ka sazawar kya.

    21.73

    وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا
    وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِمْ فِعْلَ ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ
    وَإِقَامَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَإِيتَآءَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةِ ۖ
    وَكَانُوا۟ لَنَا عَٰبِدِينَ

    Wa ja'alnaahum a'immatany yahdoona bi amrinaa

    wa awhainaaa ilaihim fi'lal khairaati

    wa iqaamas Salaati wa eetaaa'az Zakaati

    wa kaanoo lanaa 'aabideen

    and we made them leaders guiding by Our command
    and we revealed to them doing of good deeds,
    and performing of prayer, and giving zakat
    and they were the worshippers of us.

    aur hum ne inhen imam kya ke hamare hukum se bulate hain
    aur hum ne inhen wahi bhaije ache kaam karne
    aur namaz qayam rakhne aur zkaat dene ki
    aur woh hamari bandagi karte the.

    21.74

    وَلُوطًا ءَاتَيْنَٰهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا
    وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ
    ٱلَّتِى كَانَت تَّعْمَلُ ٱلْخَبَٰٓئِثَ ۗ
    إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَٰسِقِينَ

    Wa Lootan aatainaahu hukmanw wa 'ilmanw

    wa najjainaahu minal qaryat

    il latee kaanat ta'malul khabaaa'is;

    innahum kaanoo qawma saw'in faasiqeen

    and Lot We gave him judgement and knowledge
    and we saved him from the town
    which had been working wiched and fifty deeds.
    Verily they were a people evil wicked rebellious.

    aur Loot ko hum ne hukoomat aur ilm diya
    aur use is bastii se nijaat bakhshi
    jo gande kaam karti thi
    beshak woh bure log be hukum the.

    21.75

    وَأَدْخَلْنَٰهُ فِى رَحْمَتِنَآ ۖ
    إِنَّهُۥ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

    Wa adkhalnaahu fee rahmatinaa

    innahoo minas saalihee

    and we admitted him in to our Mercy.
    Verily he was of the righteous. 

    aur hum ne use apni rehmat mein daakhil kya,
    beshak woh hamare qurb khaas ka sazawaron mein hai.

    21.76

    وَنُوحًا إِذْ نَادَىٰ مِن قَبْلُ
    فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُۥ
    فَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

    Wa noohan iz naadaa min qablu

    fastajabnaa lahoo

    fanajjainaahu wa ahlahoo minal karbil 'azeem

    and remember Noah when he cried aforetime.
    So we answered to him
    then we saved him and his family from the distress great. 

    aur Nooh ko jab is se pehle is ne hamein pukara
    to hum ne is ki dua qubool ki
    aur use aur is ke ghar walon ko barri sakhti se nijaat di.

    21.77

    وَنَصَرْنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ
    ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ ۚ
    إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ
    فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

    Wa nasarnaahu minal qawm

    il lazeena kazzaboo bi Aayaatinaa;

    innahum kkaanoo qawma saw'in

    fa-aghraq naahum ajma'een

    and we helped him against the people
    who denied our auyat.
    Verily they were a people evil.
    So we drowned them all. 

    aur hum ne un logon par is ko madad di
    jinhon ne hamari ayatain jhutlaye,
    beshak woh bure log the
    to hum ne un sab ko dubo diya.

    21.78

    وَدَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ
    إِذْ يَحْكُمَانِ فِى ٱلْحَرْثِ
    إِذْ نَفَشَتْ فِيهِ غَنَمُ ٱلْقَوْمِ
    وَكُنَّا لِحُكْمِهِمْ شَٰهِدِينَ

    Wa Daawooda wa Sulaimaana

    iz yahkumaani fil harsi

    iz nafashat feehi ghanamul qawmi

    wa kunnaa lihukmihim shaahideen

    and remember David and Solomon
    when they have judgement in the case of field.
    When had pastured in which seep of people.
    And we were witness to their judgement.

    aur dawod aur Sulaiman ko yaad karo
    jab khyti ka aik jhagra chokate the,
    jab raat ko is mein kuch logon ki bakriyan chooteen
    aur hum un ke hukum ke waqt haazir the.

    21.79

    فَفَهَّمْنَٰهَا سُلَيْمَٰنَ ۚ
    وَكُلًّا ءَاتَيْنَا حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا ۚ
    وَسَخَّرْنَا مَعَ دَاوُۥدَ ٱلْجِبَالَ يُسَبِّحْنَ وَٱلطَّيْرَ ۚ
    وَكُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ

    Fafahhamnaahaa sulaimaan;

    wa kullan aatainaa hukmanw wa'ilmanw

    wa sakh kharnaa ma'a Daawoodal jibaala yusabbihna wattayr;

    wa kunnaa faa'ileen

    so we made to understand it solomon
    and each of them we gave judgement and knowledge
    and we subjected with David the mountains to glorify our praises and the birds
    and we were doers.

    hum ne woh maamla Sulaiman ko samjha diya
    aur dono ko hukoomat aur ilm ataa kya
    aur dawod ke sath paharh moskhkher farma diye ke tasbeeh karte aur parinde
    aur yeh hamare kaam the.

    21.80

    وَعَلَّمْنَٰهُ صَنْعَةَ لَبُوسٍ لَّكُمْ
    لِتُحْصِنَكُم مِّنۢ بَأْسِكُمْ ۖ
    فَهَلْ أَنتُمْ شَٰكِرُونَ

    Wa 'allamanaahu san'ata laboosil lakum

    lituhsinakum mim baasikum

    fahal antum shaakiroon

    and we taught him making coats of mail for you
    to protect you from in your withing
    are you then grateful?

    aur hum ne use tumhara aik pehnawa banana sikhaya
    ke tumhe tumhari aanch se bachaaye
    to kya tum shukar karo ge.

    21.81

    وَلِسُلَيْمَٰنَ ٱلرِّيحَ عَاصِفَةً
    تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ
    ٱلَّتِى بَٰرَكْنَا فِيهَا
    ۚ وَكُنَّا بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَٰلِمِينَ

    Wa li Sulaimaanar reeha 'aasifatan

    tajree bi amriheee ilal ard

    il latee baaraknaa feehaa;

    wa kunnaa bikulli shai'in 'aalimeen

    and to Solomon the wind strongly raging.
    Running by his command towards the land
    which we had blessed
    and we were knowers of every thing.

    aur Sulaiman ke liye taiz hawa muskhkher kar di
    ke us ke hukum se chalti is zameen ki taraf
    jis me hum ne barket rakhi
    aur hum ko har cheez maloom hai.

    21.82

     وَمِنَ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ مَن يَغُوصُونَ لَهُۥ
    وَيَعْمَلُونَ عَمَلًا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ
    وَكُنَّا لَهُمْ حَٰفِظِينَ

    Wa minash Shayaateeni mai yaghoosoona lahoo

    wa ya'maloona 'amalan doona zaalika

    wa kunna lahum baafizeen

    and of devils were some who gived for him
    and worked other work besides that
    and we were for them guards.

    aur shaitano me se jo is ke liye ghouta lagate
    aur is ke siwa aur kaam karte
    aur hum unhen roke hue the.

    21.83

    وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ

    أَنِّى مَسَّنِىَ ٱلضُّرُّ

    وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ

    Wa Ayyooba iz naadaa Rabbahooo

    annee massaniyad durru

    wa Anta arhamur raahimeen

     

    and Job when he cried to His Raub,
    verily  the distress has seized me
    and you are Most Merciful of those who show mercy. 

    aur ayyob ko yaad karo jab us ne apne rab ko pokara
    ke mokhe takleef pahonchi
    aur to sab meher walon se meher wala

    21.84

    فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُۥ

    فَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِۦ مِن ضُرٍّ ۖ

    وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ أَهْلَهُۥ

    وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِنَا

    وَذِكْرَىٰ لِلْعَٰبِدِينَ

    Fastajabnaa lahoo

    fakashaf naa maa bihee min durrinw

    wa aatainaahu ahlahoo

    wa mislahum ma'ahum rahmatam min 'indinaa

    wa zikraa lil'aabideen

     

    so we answered to him
    then we removed that what was with him from ditress
    and we restored to him his family
    and the like thereof with them as a mercy from ourselves
    and a reminder for those who worship us.

    to hum ne is ki dua sun li
    to hum ne door kar di jo takleef use thi
    aur hum ne use is ke ghar wale ataa kiye
    aur un ke sath itne hi aur apne paas se rahmat farma kar
    aur bandagi walon ke liye naseehat.

    21.85

    وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِدْرِيسَ وَذَا ٱلْكِفْلِ ۖ

    كُلٌّ مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ

    Wa Ismaa'eela wa Idreesa wa Zal Kifli

    kullum minas saabireen

     

    and remember Ishmael and Idris and Dhul-Kifl Isaiah,
    All were from among the patient ones.

    aur ismael aur adrees aur zulkaffal ko ( yaad karo ),
    woh sab sabr wale the.

    21.86

    وَأَدْخَلْنَٰهُمْ فِى رَحْمَتِنَآ ۖ

    إِنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

    Wa adkhalnaahum fee rahmatinaa

    innahum minas saaliheen

     

    and we admitted them in to our Mercy.
    Verily they were of the righteous.

    aur unhen hum ne apni rahmat me daakhil kya,
    beshak woh hamare qurb khaas ke sazawaron me hain.

    21.87

     وَذَا ٱلنُّونِ إِذ ذَّهَبَ مُغَٰضِبًا

    فَظَنَّ أَن لَّن نَّقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ

    فَنَادَىٰ فِى ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ

    أَن لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنتَ

    سُبْحَٰنَكَ

    إِنِّى كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

    Wa Zan Nooni iz zahaba mughaadiban

    fazaanna al lan naqdira 'alaihi

    fanaadaa fiz zulumaati

    al laaa ilaaha illaaa Anta

    Subhaanaka

    innee kuntu minaz zaalimeen

    and remember Dhun-Nun when he went off in anger
    and imagined that never we have power over him
    then he cried in the darkness
    that there is no god but you,
    you are glorified.
    Truly I have been from of the wrong-doers.

    aur Zunnun , ko ( yaad karo ) jab chala gussa me bhara
    to gumaan kya ke hum is par tangi nah karen ge
    to andhiyaron me puraka koi mabood nahi siwa tere
    paki hai tujh ko,
    beshak mujh se be ja hwa.

    21.88

    فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُۥ
    وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْغَمِّ ۚ
    وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُۨجِى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

    Fastajabnaa lahoo

    wa najjainaahu minal ghamm;

    wa kazaalika nunjil mu'mineen

    so we answered to him
    and we delieved him from the distress
    and thus we deliever the believers.

    to hum ne is ki pukaar sun li
    aur use gham se nijaat bakhshi 
    aur aise hi nijaat den ge musalmanoon ko.

    21.89

    وَزَكَرِيَّآ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ

    رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِى فَرْدًا

    وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ

    Wa Zakariyyaaa iz naadaa Rabbahoo

    Rabbi laa tazarnee fardanw

    wa Anta khairul waariseen

    and remember zakariyya when he cried to his Raub.
    O my Raub not leave me single
    and you are best of the inheritors. 

    aur zakria ko jab is ne apne rab ko puraka,
    ae mere rab mujhe akela na chorh
    aur to sab se behtar waris.

    21.90

    فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُۥ

    وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥ يَحْيَىٰ

    وَأَصْلَحْنَا لَهُۥ زَوْجَهُۥٓ ۚ

    إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِى ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ

    وَيَدْعُونَنَا رَغَبًا وَرَهَبًا ۖ

    وَكَانُوا۟ لَنَا خَٰشِعِينَ

    Fastajabnaa lahoo

    wa wahabnaa lahoo Yahyaa

    Wa aslahnaa lahoo zawjah;

    innahum kaanoo yusaari'oona fil khairaati

    wa yad'oonanaa raghabanw wa rahabaa;

    wa kaanoo lanaa khaashi'een

    So we answered him
    and we bestowed on him Yahya,
    and we cured for him his wife.
    Verily they used to hasten to do good deeds
    and they used to call on us with hope and fear
    and they were humble before us.

    to hum ne is ki dua qubool ki
    aur use yahya ataa farmaya
    aur is ke liye is ki bi bi sanwari
    beshak woh bhale kamon me jaldi karte the
    aur hamen pukarte the umeed aur khauf se,
    aur hamare huzoor girhgirhate hain.

    21.91

    وَٱلَّتِىٓ أَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا

    فَنَفَخْنَا فِيهَا مِن رُّوحِنَا

    وَجَعَلْنَٰهَا وَٱبْنَهَآ ءَايَةً لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ

    Wallateee ahsanat farjahaa

    fanafakhnaa feehaa mir roohinaa

    wa ja'alnaahaa wabnahaaa Aayatal lil'aalameen

     

    and she who guarned her chastity
    then we breathed into her through our spirit
    and we made her and her son auyat for the worlds.

    aur is aurat ne apni paarsai nigah rakhi
    to hum ne is me apni rooh phoki
    aur use aur is ke bete ko saare jahan ke liye nishani banaya.

    21.92

    إِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦٓ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَٰحِدَةً

    وَأَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمْ فَٱعْبُدُونِ

    Inna haaziheee ummatukum ummatanw waahidatanw

    wa Ana Rabbukum fa'budoon

     

    truly this your nation is nation one
    and I am your Raub, so worship me.

    beshak tumhara yeh deen aik hi deen hai
    aur mein tumhara rab hon to meri ibadat karo.

    21.93

    وَتَقَطَّعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ

    كُلٌّ إِلَيْنَا رَٰجِعُونَ

    Wa taqatta'ooo amrahum bainahum

    kullun ilainaaa raaji'oon

     

    and but they have broken up their affair religion among them,
    they all shall return to us.

    aur ouron ne apne kaam aapas me tukrhe tukrhe kar liye
    sab ko hamari taraf phirna hai.

    21.94

    فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ

    فَلَا كُفْرَانَ لِسَعْيِهِۦ

    وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ كَٰتِبُونَ

    Famai ya'mal minas saalihaati wa huwa mu'minun

    falaa kufraana lisa'yihee

    wa innaa lahoo kaatiboon

     

    so whoever does efforst from deeds and he his righteous
    then not will be rejected his efforst
    and verily we for him are recordes.

    to jo kuch bhale kaam kere aur ho imaan wala
    to us ki koshish ki be qadri nahi,
    aur hum use likh rahe hain.

    21.95

    وَحَرَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَٰهَآ

    أَنَّهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ

    Wa haraamun 'alaa qaryatin ahlaknaahaaa

    annahum laa yarji'oon

     

    and a ban is laid on town which we have destroyed
    that they shall not return.

    aur haraam hai us bastii par jise hum ne halaak kar diya
    ke phir woh lout kar ayen.

    21.96

    حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فُتِحَتْ يَأْجُوجُ وَمَأْجُوجُ

    وَهُم مِّن كُلِّ حَدَبٍ يَنسِلُونَ

    Hattaaa izaa futihat Yaajooju wa Maajooju

    wa hum whoemin kulli hadabiny yansiloon

    until when God Yajooju and Magog Majooju are let loose
    and they swoop down from every mound.

    yahan tak ke jab khole jayen ge yajooj o majooj
    aur woh har bulandi se dhalakte hon ge.

    21.97

     وَٱقْتَرَبَ ٱلْوَعْدُ ٱلْحَقُّ

    فَإِذَا هِىَ شَٰخِصَةٌ أَبْصَٰرُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟

    يَٰوَيْلَنَا قَدْ كُنَّا فِى غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هَٰذَا

    بَلْ كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ

    Waqtarabal wa'dul haqqu

    fa-izaa hiya shaakhisatun absaarul lazeena kafaroo

    yaawailanaa qad kunna fee ghaflatim min haaza

    bal kunnaa zaalimeen

    and the promise true shall draw near
    then when it is fixed gazes, those who of disbelieved.
    Woe to us indeed we were in heedlessness from this,
    but we were wrong-doers.

    aur qareeb aaya sacha wada
    to jabhi ankhen phatt kar reh jayen gi kafiroon ki
    ke haae hamari kharabi be shak hum is se ghaflat me the
    balke hum zalim the.

    21.98

    إِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ حَصَبُ جَهَنَّمَ

    أَنتُمْ لَهَا وَٰرِدُونَ

    Innakum wa maa ta'budoona min doonil laahi hasabu Jahannama

    antum lahaa waaridoon

    Certainly you and that which you worship besides Allah are fluel for hell,
    you will enter to it.

    be shak tum aur jo kuch Allah ke siwa tum pujte ho sab jahannum ke eendhan ho,
    tumhe is me jana.

    21.99

    لَوْ كَانَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ءَالِهَةً مَّا وَرَدُوهَا ۖ

    وَكُلٌّ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

    Law kaana haaa'ulaaa'i aalihatam maa waradoohaa

    wa kullun feehaa khaalidoon

    if were these gods they would not have entered it
    and all of them therein will abide.

    agar yeh khuda hote jahannum me na jate,
    aur un sab ko hamesha is me rehna

    21.100

    لَهُمْ فِيهَا زَفِيرٌ

    وَهُمْ فِيهَا لَا يَسْمَعُونَ

    Lahum feehaa zafeerunw

    wa hum feehaa laa yasma'oon

     

    for them therein will be breathing out with deep sighns and roaring
    and they therein will not hear.

    woh us me renken ge
    aur woh is me kuch na sunen ge.

    21.101

    إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَقَتْ لَهُم مِّنَّا ٱلْحُسْنَىٰٓ

    أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عَنْهَا مُبْعَدُونَ

    Innal lazeena sabaqat lahum minnal husnaaa

    ulaaa'ika 'anhaa mub'adoon

    verily those has preceded for whom from us the good,
    they from it will be removed.

    beshak woh jin ke liye hamara wada bhalai ka ho chuka
    woh jahannum se door rakhe gaye hain.

    21.102

    لَا يَسْمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَا ۖ
    وَهُمْ فِى مَا ٱشْتَهَتْ أَنفُسُهُمْ خَٰلِدُونَ

    Laa yasma'oona haseesahaa

    wa hum fee mash tahat anfusuhum khaalidoon

    They shall not hear slightest sound of it
    and they in that which desire their ownselves abide.

    woh is ki bhanak ( halki si aawaz bhi ) na sunen ge
    aur woh apni man mani khahishon me hamesha rahen ge.

    21.103

    لَا يَحْزُنُهُمُ ٱلْفَزَعُ ٱلْأَكْبَرُ
    وَتَتَلَقَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
    هَٰذَا يَوْمُكُمُ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ

    Laa yahzunuhumul faza'ul akbaru

    wa tatalaq qaahumul malaaa'ikatu

    haazaa Yawmukumul lazee kuntum too'adoon

    The greatest terror not will grieve them
    and the angels will meet them.
    this is your Day which you were promised.

    unhe gham me na daalegi woh sab se barhi ghabrahat
    aur farishte un ki peshwai ko ayen ge
    ke yeh hai tumhara woh din jis ka tum se wada tha.

    21.104

    يَوْمَ نَطْوِى ٱلسَّمَآءَ كَطَىِّ ٱلسِّجِلِّ لِلْكُتُبِ ۚ
    كَمَا بَدَأْنَآ أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُّعِيدُهُۥ ۚ
    وَعْدًا عَلَيْنَآ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ

    Yawma natwis samaaa'a kataiyis sijilli lilkutub;

    kamaa badaanaa awwala khalqin nu'eeduh;

    wa'dan 'alainaa; innaa kunna faa'ileen

    Remember the day shall roll up the heavens like a rolled up scroll for scriptures
    as the first creation we shall repeat it,
    it is a promise upon us truly we are doers.

    jis din hum aasman ko lapeten ge jaise Sajal (farishta) nama aamaal ko lappet ta hai,
    jaise pehle use banaya tha waise hi phir kar den ge
    yeh wada hai hamare zimma, hum ko is ka zaroor karna.

    21.105

     وَلَقَدْ كَتَبْنَا فِى ٱلزَّبُورِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱلذِّكْرِ
    أَنَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ يَرِثُهَا عِبَادِىَ ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ

    Wa laqad katabnaa fiz Zaboori mim ba'diz zikri

    annal arda yarisuhaa 'ibaadi yas saalihoon

    and indeed we have written in the Psalms after the scripture
    “that My righteous slaves shall inherit the land.” 

    aur beshak hum ne Zaboor me naseehat ke baad likh diya
    ke is zameen ke waris mere naik bande hon ge.

    21.106

    إِنَّ فِى هَٰذَا لَبَلَٰغًا لِّقَوْمٍ عَٰبِدِينَ

    Inna fee haaza labalaa ghal liqawmin 'aabideen

    Verily in this a preaching Message for a people who worship Allah.

    beshak yeh quran kaafi hai ibadat walon ko.

    21.107

    وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ

    Wa maaa arsalnaaka illaa rahmatal lil'aalameen

    and we have not sent you but as a mercy for the worlds.

    aur hum ne tumhe na bheja magar rehmat saare Jahan ke liye.

    21.108

    قُلْ إِنَّمَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ
    أَنَّمَآ إِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ ۖ
    فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ

    Qul innamaa yoohaa ilaiya

    annamaaa ilaahukum illaahunw Waahid,

    fahal antum muslimoon

    say: only it is revealed to me
    that your God is God one
    will then you submit Muslims to His will?

    tum farmao mujhe to yahi wahi hoti hai
    ke tumhara khuda nahi magar ek Allah
    to kya tum musalman hote ho.

    21.109

    فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُلْ ءَاذَنتُكُمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَآءٍ ۖ
    وَإِنْ أَدْرِىٓ أَقَرِيبٌ أَم بَعِيدٌ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ

    Fa in tawallaw faqul aazantukum 'alaa sawaaa';

    wa in adreee Aqareebun am ba'eedum maa too'adoon

    but the turn away then say: “I give you a notice all alike”
    and I do not know whether is near or far what you a promised.

    phir agar woh munh phairen to farma do my ne tumhe larhai ka elaan kar diya barabari par
    aur mein kya jaanun ke paas hai ya door hai woh jo tumhe wada diya jata hai.

    21.110

    إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْلِ
    وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْتُمُونَ

    Innahoo ya'lamul jahra minal qawli

    wa ya'lamu maa taktumoon

    verily he knows the loud from spoken word
    and he knows that which you conceal.

    beshak Allah jaanta hai aawaz ki baat
    aur jaanta hai jo tum chupate ho.

    21.111

    وَإِنْ أَدْرِى لَعَلَّهُۥ فِتْنَةٌ لَّكُمْ
    وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ

    Wa in adree la'allahoo fitnatul lakum

    wa mataa'un ilaa heen

    and I not know, perhaps it may be a trial for you
    and an enjoyment for a while.

    aur my kya jaanun shayad woh tumhari jaanch ho
    aur aik waqt tak baratwana.

    21.112

    قَٰلَ رَبِّ ٱحْكُم بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ
    وَرَبُّنَا ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ ٱلْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ
     

    Qaala Rabbih kum bil haqq;

    wa Rabbunar Rahmaa nul musta'aanu 'alaa maa tasifoon

    He said: “My Raub judge you in truth”
    and our Raub is The Most Gracious whose help is sought against that which you attribute.

    nabi ne arz ki ke ae mere rab haq faisla farma de
    aur hamare rab rehman hi ki madad darkaar hai un baton par jo tum batate ho.

    21.200

    68. قَالُوا۟ حَرِّقُوهُ وَٱنصُرُوٓا۟ ءَالِهَتَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ فَٰعِلِينَ

    1. Qaaloo harriqooho wansurooo aalihatakum in kuntum faa'ileen
    2.  

    They said: “Burn him and help your gods if you will be doing.”

    21.1110


    ( 62 ) bole kya tum ne hamare khudaon ke sath yeh kaam kya ae Ibrahim.

    ( 63 ) farmaya balke un ke is barre ne kya ho ga to un se pucho agar bolte hon.

    21.1110


    ( 64 ) to –apne jee ki taraf palty aur bole beshak tumhe sitamgar ho.

    21.1110


    ( 65 ) phir –apne suron ke bil ondhe gaye ke tumhe khoob maloom hai yeh bolte nahi.

    21.1110


    ( 66 ) kaha to kya Allah ke siwa aise ko pujte ho jo nah tumhe naffa de aur nah nuqsaan pohanchaye .

    21.1110

    ( 67 ) taf hai tum par aur un buton par jin ko Allah ke siwa pujte ho, to kya tumhe aqal nahi.

    21.1110


    ( 68 ) bole un ko jala do aur –apne khudaon ki madad karoon agar tumhe karna hai.

    21.1110


    ( 69 ) hum ne farmaya ae aag ho ja thandhi aur salamti ibrahim par.
