    The Criterion
    سورة الفرقان
    Total Ayaat: 77
    Language


    25.1

    تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ ٱلْفُرْقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِۦ

    لِيَكُونَ لِلْعَٰلَمِينَ نَذِيرًا

    Tabaarakal lazee nazzalal Furqaana 'alaa 'abdihee

    li yakoona lil'aalameena nazeera

    Blessed is he who sent down the criterion to his slave
    that be may be a warner to the worlds. 

    barhi barkat wala hai woh ke jis ne utaara quran apne bande par
    ke saare Jahan ko dar sunane wala ho.

    25.2

     ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ

    وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا

    وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ شَرِيكٌ فِى ٱلْمُلْكِ

    وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ

    فَقَدَّرَهُۥ تَقْدِيرًا

    Allazee lahoo mulkus samaawaati wal ardi

    wa lam yattakhiz waladanw

    wa lam yakul lahoo shareekun filmulki

    wa khalaqa kulla shai'in

    faqaddarahoo taqdeeraa

    He who to him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth
    and who has not taken a son
    and he has not for him a partner in the dominion
    and he has created every thing
    and has measured it exactly according to its due measurement.

    woh jis ke liye hai asmano aur zameen ki badshahat
    aur is ne na ikhtiyar farmaya bacha
    aur us ki saltanat me koi saajhi nahi
    is ne har cheez paida ki
    aur theek andaza par rakhi.

    25.3

    وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً

    لَّا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْـًٔا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ

    وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا

    وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتًا وَلَا حَيَوٰةً وَلَا نُشُورًا

     

    Wattakhazoo min dooniheee aahihatal

    laa yakhluqoona shai'anw wa hum yukhlaqoona

    wa laa yamlikoona li anfusihim darranw wa laa naf'anw

    wa laa yamlikoona mawtanw wa laa hayaatanw wa laa nushooraa

    yet they have taken besides him gods,
    they not create anything but they are themselves created
    and they possess neither harm nor benefit for themselves
    nor they possess death nor life nor able to raising the dead.

    aur logon ne us ke siwa aur khuda tahra liye
    ke woh kuch nahi banate aur khud paida kiye gaye hain
    aur khud apni jaano ke bure bhale ke maalik nahi
    aur na marne ka ikhtiyar na jeene ka na uthne ka.

    25.4

    وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟

    إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ إِفْكٌ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ

    وَأَعَانَهُۥ عَلَيْهِ قَوْمٌ ءَاخَرُونَ ۖ

    فَقَدْ جَآءُو ظُلْمًا وَزُورًا

    Wa qaalal lazeena kafarooo

    in haazaaa illaaa ifkunif taraahu

    wa a'aanahoo 'alaihi qawmun aakharoona

    faqad jaaa'oo zulmanw wa zooraa

    and those who disbelieve say:
    nothing this is but a lie he invented it
    and other people helped him at it,
    in fact they have produced a wrong thing and a lie.

    aur kafir bole
    yeh to nahi magar ek buhtan jo unhon ne bana liya hai
    aur us par aur logon ne unhen madad di hai
    beshak woh zulm aur jhoot par aaye.

    25.5

    وَقَالُوٓا۟ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ٱكْتَتَبَهَا

    فَهِىَ تُمْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا

    Wa qaalooo asaateerul awwaleenak tatabahaa

    fahiya tumlaa 'alaihi bukratanw wa aseelaa

    and they say: tales of the ancients which he has written down
    and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon.

    aur bole aglo ki kahaniyan hain jo unhon ne likh li hain
    to woh un par subah o shaam parhi jati hain.

    25.6

    قُلْ أَنزَلَهُ ٱلَّذِى يَعْلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ

    فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ

    ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا

    Qul anzalhul lazee ya'lamus sirra

    fis samaawaati wal-ard;

    innahoo kaana Ghafoorar Raheemaa

    say: it has sent down him who knows the secret
    of in the heavens and the earth,
    truly he is Oft-Forgiving One The Most Merciful.

    tum farmao use to us ne utaara hai jo har baat jaanta hai
    asmano aur zameen ki  
    beshak woh bakhshne wala meharban hai.

    25.7

    وَقَالُوا۟ مَالِ هَٰذَا ٱلرَّسُولِ

    يَأْكُلُ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشِى فِى ٱلْأَسْوَاقِ ۙ

    لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ

    فَيَكُونَ مَعَهُۥ نَذِيرًا

    Wa qaaloo maa li haazar Rasooli

    yaakulut ta'aama wa yamshee fil aswaaq;

    law laaa unzila ilaihi malakun

    fa yakoona ma'ahoo nazeeraa

    and they say: why does this Prophet
    eat food and walk about in the markets,
    why is not an angels sent down to him
    to be a warner with him!

    aur bole is rasool ko kya hova
    khana khata hai aur baazaaron me chalta hai
    kyun na utaara gaya un ke sath koi farishta
    ke un ke sath dar sonata.

    25.8

    أَوْ يُلْقَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِ كَنزٌ

    أَوْ تَكُونُ لَهُۥ جَنَّةٌ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا

    ۚ وَقَالَ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

    إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلًا مَّسْحُورًا

    Aw yulqaaa ilaihi kanzun

    aw takoonu lahoo jannatuny yaakulu minhaa;

    wa qaalaz zaalimoona

    in tattabi'oona illaa rajulam mas hooraa

    or why is not a tresure been granted to him
    or why is not for him a garden where of he may eat
    and the wrong-doers say:
    not you follow but a man bewitched.

    ya ghaib se unhen koi khazana mil jata
    ya un ka koi baagh hota jis me se khate
    aur zalim bole
    tum to pairwi nahi karte magar ek aise mard ki jis par jadu hua.

    25.9

    ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُوا۟ لَكَ ٱلْأَمْثَٰلَ

    فَضَلُّوا۟ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ سَبِيلًا

    Unzur kaifa daraboo lakal amsaala

    fadalloo falaa yastatee'oona sabeelaa

    see! how they coin for you similitueds
    so they have gone astray and they can not find a right way.

    ae mehboob dekho kaisi kahawaten tumahre liye bana rahe hain
    to gumraah hove ke ab koi raah nahi paate.

    25.10

     تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِىٓ إِن شَآءَ جَعَلَ لَكَ خَيْرًا مِّن ذَٰلِكَ

    جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ

    وَيَجْعَل لَّكَ قُصُورًۢا

    Tabaarakal lazeee in shaaa'a ja'ala laka khairam min zaalika

    jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru

    wa yaj'al laka qusooraa

    Blessed is he who if he wishes will assign for you better than that
    gardens under them rivers flowing
    and he will assign for you places.

    barhi barkat wala hai woh ke agar chahe to tumahre liye bahut behtar us se kar de
    jannaten jin ke neeche nahren bahen
    aur kare ga tumahre liye unche unche mahal.

    25.11

     بَلْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلسَّاعَةِ ۖ

    وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِمَن كَذَّبَ بِٱلسَّاعَةِ سَعِيرًا

    Bal kazzaboo bis Saa'ati

    wa a'tadnaa liman kazzaba bis Saa'ati sa'eeraa

    nay the deny the hour
    and for those who deny the hour we have prepared a flaming fire.

    balke yeh to qayamat ko jhutlate hain,
    aur jo qayamat ko jhutlaye hum ne us ke liye tayyar kar rakhi hai bharhakti hovi aag.

    25.12

    إِذَا رَأَتْهُم مِّن مَّكَانٍۭ بَعِيدٍ

    سَمِعُوا۟ لَهَا تَغَيُّظًا وَزَفِيرًا

    Izaa ra'at hum mim ma kaanim ba'eedin

    sami'oo lahaa taghaiyuzanw wa zafeeraa

     

    when it sees them from a far place
    they will hear its raging and roaring.

    jab woh unhen door jagah se dekhe gi
    to sunen ge us ka josh maarna aur chinghadnaا.

    25.13

    وَإِذَآ أُلْقُوا۟ مِنْهَا مَكَانًا ضَيِّقًا مُّقَرَّنِينَ

    دَعَوْا۟ هُنَالِكَ ثُبُورًا

    Wa izaaa ulqoo minhaa makaanan daiyiqam muqar raneena

    da'aw hunaalika subooraa

    and when they will be thrown into a narrow place thereof chained together,
    they will call therein for “destruction”. 

    aur jab us ki kisi tang jagah me daale jayen ge zanjeeron me jakrhe hove
    to wahan mout mangen ge.

    25.14

     لَّا تَدْعُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ ثُبُورًا وَٰحِدًا

    وَٱدْعُوا۟ ثُبُورًا كَثِيرًا

    Laa tad'ul yawma subooranw waahidanw

    wad'oo subooran kaseeraa

     

    Not you call today for destruction one
    but call for many destruction.

    farmaya jaye ga aaj ek mout na mango
    aur bahut si mauten mango.

    25.15

    قُلْ أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ

    أَمْ جَنَّةُ ٱلْخُلْدِ

    ٱلَّتِى وُعِدَ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ

    ۚ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَزَآءً وَمَصِيرًا

    Qul azaalika khairun

    am Jannatul khuld

    il latee wu'idal muttaqoon;

    kaanat lahum jazaaa'anw wa maseeraa

    say: is that better?
    Or paradise of eternity
    which have been promised the pious people?
    It will be for them as a reward and as a final destination.

    tum farmao kya yeh bhala
    ya woh hameshgi ke baagh
    jis ka wada dar walon ko hai,
    woh un ka sila aur anjaam hai.

    25.16

     لَّهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَآءُونَ خَٰلِدِينَ

    ۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعْدًا مَّسْـُٔولًا

    Lahum feehaa maa yashaaa'oona khaalideen;

    kaana 'alaa Rabbika wa'dam mas'oolaa

     

    for them will be therein all that they desire and they will abide eternally
    that is upon your Raub a promise that must be fulfiled.

    un ke liye wahan man maani muraden hain jin me hamesha rahen ge, 
    tumahre rab ke zimma wada hai manga huwa.

    25.17

     وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ

    وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ

    فَيَقُولُ ءَأَنتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِى هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ

    أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّوا۟ ٱلسَّبِيلَ

    Wa Yawma yahshuruhum

    wa maa ya'budoona min doonil lahi

    fa yaqoolu 'a-antum adlaltum 'ibaadee haaa'ulaaa'i

    am hum dallus sabeel

    and on the day when he will gather them
    and that which they worship besides Allah
    so he will say: was it you who misled my slaves there?
    Or they went astray from the right way?

    aur jis din akhatta kare ga unhen
    aur jin ko Allah ke siwa pujte hain
    phir un mabudon se farmaiye ga kya tum ne gumraah kar diye yeh mere bande
    ya yeh khud hi raah bhule.

    25.18

     قَالُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَكَ

    مَا كَانَ يَنۢبَغِى لَنَآ

    أَن نَّتَّخِذَ مِن دُونِكَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَآءَ

    وَلَٰكِن مَّتَّعْتَهُمْ وَءَابَآءَهُمْ

    حَتَّىٰ نَسُوا۟ ٱلذِّكْرَ

    وَكَانُوا۟ قَوْمًۢا بُورًا

    Qaaloo Subhaanaka

    maa kaana yambaghee lanaaa

    an nattakhiza min doonika min awliyaaa'a 

    wa laakim matta'tahum wa aabaaa'ahum

    hattaa nasuz zikra

    wa kaanoo qawmam booraa

     

    they will say: you are glorified.
    It was not proper for us
    to take besides you any protectors
    but you gave them comfort and their fathers
    till they forgot the remembrance
    and become a people lost.

    woh arz karen ge paki hai tujh ko
    hame sazawar ( haq ) na tha
    ke tere siwa kisi aur ko mola banayen
    lekin to ne unhen aur un ke baap dadaon ko baratne diya
    yahan tak ke woh teri yaad bhool gaye
    aur yeh log the hi helaak hone wale.

    25.19

     فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوكُم بِمَا تَقُولُونَ

    فَمَا تَسْتَطِيعُونَ صَرْفًا وَلَا نَصْرًا ۚ

    وَمَن يَظْلِم مِّنكُمْ

    نُذِقْهُ عَذَابًا كَبِيرًا

    Faqad kazzabookum bimaa taqooloona

    famaa tastatee'oona sarfanw wa laa nasraa;

    wa mai yazlim minkum

    nuziqhu 'azaaban kabeeraa

    so verily they deny you regarding what you say:
    so not you can avert nor get help
    and whoever does wrong among you
    we shall make him taste a great torment.

    to ab mabodon ne tumhari baat jhutla di
    to ab tum na azaab pher sako na apni madad kar sako
    aur tum me jo zalim hai
    hum use barha azaab chkhayin ge.

    25.20

    وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

    إِلَّآ إِنَّهُمْ لَيَأْكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ

    وَيَمْشُونَ فِى ٱلْأَسْوَاقِ ۗ

    وَجَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ فِتْنَةً

    أَتَصْبِرُونَ ۗ

    وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِيرًا

    Wa maaa arsalnaa qablaka minal mursaleena

    illaaa innahum la yaakuloonat ta'aama

    wa yamshoona fil aswaaq;

    wa ja'alnaa ba'dakum liba'din fitnatan

    atasbiroon;

    wa kaana Rabbuka Baseera 

    and we not sent before you any of the Prophets
    but verily they ate food
    and walked in the markets
    and we have made some of you for others as a trial
    will you have patience ?
    and is your Raub ever all-seer.

    aur hum ne tum se pehle jitne rasool bheje
    sab aise hi the khana khate
    aur baazaaron me chalte
    aur hum ne tum me ek ko dusre ki jaanch kya hai
    aur ae logo! kya tum sabr karo ge
    aur ae mehboob! tumhara rab dekhta hai.

    25.21

     وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا

    لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ

    أَوْ نَرَىٰ رَبَّنَا ۗ

    لَقَدِ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ

    وَعَتَوْ عُتُوًّا كَبِيرًا

    Wa qaalal lazeena laa yarjoona liqaaa'anaa

    law laaa unzila 'alainal malaaa'ikatu

    aw naraa Rabbanaa;

    laqad istakbaroo feee anfusihim

    wa 'ataw 'utuwwan kabeeraa

    and Those who not exspect a meeting with us said:
    why are not the angels sent down to us
    or why do we see our Raub
    indeed they think arrogantly of themseves
    and are scornful with great pride.

    aur bole woh jo hamare milne ki umeed nahi rakhte
    hum par farishte kyun na utaarey
    ya hum apne rab ko dekhte
    beshak apne jee me bahut hi onche khenchi (sar kashi ki)
    aur barhi sar kashi par aaye.

    25.22

     يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ

    لَا بُشْرَىٰ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ

    وَيَقُولُونَ حِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا

    Yawma yarawnal malaaa 'ikata

    laa bushraa Yawma'izil lilmujrimeena

    wa yaqooloona hijram mahjooraa

    on the day they will see the angels
    nor glad tidings will there be that day for the criminals
    and they will say the angels all glad tidings are forbidden for you.

    jis din farishton ko dekhen ge
    woh din mujrimon ki koi khushi ka na ho ga
    aur kahen ge Elahi hum me un me koi aarh kar de ruki hui.

    25.23

     وَقَدِمْنَآ إِلَىٰ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ مِنْ عَمَلٍ

    فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ هَبَآءً مَّنثُورًا

    Wa qadimnaaa ilaa maa 'amiloo min 'amalin

    faja'alnaahu habaaa'am mansooraa

    and we shall turn to what ever they did from deeds
    we shall make it them as scattered floating particles of dust.

    aur jo kuch unhon ne kaam kiye the hum ne un ka qasad farma
    aur unhen bareek bareek gubhar, ke bikhare hue zarre kar diya 

    25.24

     أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَيْرٌ مُّسْتَقَرًّا

    وَأَحْسَنُ مَقِيلًا

    As haabul jannati yawma'izin khairum mustaqar ranw

    wa ahsanu maqeela

    the dwellers of paradise will on that day have the best abode
    and the fairest of places for repos.

    jannat walon ka is din acha thikana
    aur hisaab ke dopahar ke baad achi aaraam ki jagah.

    25.25

     وَيَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِٱلْغَمَٰمِ

    وَنُزِّلَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ تَنزِيلًا

    Wa Yawma tashaqqaqus samaaa'u bilghamaami

    wa nuzzilal malaaa'ikatu tanzeela

    and the day the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds and the angels will be sent down with a grand descending.

    aur jis din phat jaye ga aasman baadalon se
    aur farishte utaare jayen ge poori tarah.

    25.26

     ٱلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ ۚ

    وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَسِيرًا

    Almulku Yawma'izinil haqqu lir Rahmaan;

    wa kaana Yawman' alal kaafireena 'aseeraa

    the soverignty on the day the truth belonging to the Most Gracious
    and be it will a hard day for the disbelievers.

    us din sachhi badeshahi Rehman ki hai,
    aur woh din kafiroon par sakht hai.

    25.27

     وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ ٱلظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ

    يَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى ٱتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ ٱلرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًا

    Wa Yawma ya'adduz zaalimu 'alaa yadaihi

    yaqoolu yaa laitanit takhaztu ma'ar Rasooli sabeelaa

    and the day will bite the wrong-doer on his hands
    he will say: oh would that I had taken a way with the Prophet! 

    aur jis din zalim apne haath chaba chaba le ga
    kahen ge ke haae kisi tarah se mai ne rasool ke sath raah li hoti.

    25.28

     يَٰوَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِى لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًا

    Yaa wailataa laitanee lam attakhiz fulaanan khaleelaa

    Would that I did not take so-and-so as a friend.

    way kharabi meri hay kisi tarah mai ne falane ko dost na banaya hota.

    25.29

     لَّقَدْ أَضَلَّنِى عَنِ ٱلذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَآءَنِى ۗ

    وَكَانَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ لِلْإِنسَٰنِ خَذُولًا

    Laqad adallanee 'aniz zikri ba'da iz jaaa'anee;

    wa kaanash Shaitaanu lil insaani khazoolaa

    indeed he led me astray from the reminder after it had come to me
    and satan is to man ever a deserter in the hour of need.

    beshak us ne mujhe bahka diya mere paas aayi hui naseehat se
    aur shaitan aadmi ko be madad chorhe deta hai.

    25.30

     وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَٰرَبِّ

    إِنَّ قَوْمِى ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مَهْجُورًا

    Wa qaalar Rasoolu yaa Rabbi

    inna qawmit takhazoo haazal Qur-aana mahjooraa

    and will say the Prophet, O my Raub!
    Verily my people took as desserted this Qur’an.

    aur rasool ne arz ki ke ae mere rab!
    beshak meri qoum ne is quran ko chorhne ke qabil thehra liya.

    25.31

     وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّا مِّنَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ۗ

    وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا

    Wa kazaalika ja'alnaa likulli Nabiyyin 'aduwwam minal mujrimeen;

    wa kafaa bi Rabbika haadiyanw wa naseeraa

    and thus have we made for every Prophet an enemy among the criminals
    but your Raub is sufficient as a guide and helper.

    aur usi tarah hum ne har nabi ke liye dushman bana diye the mujrim log
    aur tumhara rab kaafi hai hadaayat karne aur madad daine ko.

    25.32

    وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟

    لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ جُمْلَةً وَٰحِدَةً ۚ

    كَذَٰلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِۦ فُؤَادَكَ

    ۖ وَرَتَّلْنَٰهُ تَرْتِيلًا

    Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo

    law laa nuzzila 'alaihil Quraanu jumlatanw waahidah;

    kazaalika linusabbita bihee fu'aadaka

    wa rattalnaahu tarteelaa

    and those who disbelieve say:
    why is not the Qur’an revealed to him all at once!
    Ths that we may strengthen your heart thereby
    and we have recited it in recitation.

    aur kafir bole
    quran un par ek sath kyun na utaar diya
    hum ne yuhin ba tadreej se utaara hai ke is se tumhara dil mazboot karen
    aur hum ne use thahr thahr kar parha.

    25.33

     وَلَا يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ

    إِلَّا جِئْنَٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ

    وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيرًا

    Wa laa yaatoonaka bimasainn

    illaa ji'naaka bilhaqqi

    wa ahsana tafseeraa

     

    and not example or similitude they do bring to you
    but we bring to you the truth
    better and the explanation.

    aur woh koi kahawat tumahre paas na layen ge
    magar  le ayen ge hum haq 
    aur is se behtar bayan

    25.34

     ٱلَّذِينَ يُحْشَرُونَ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ

    أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا

    وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا

    Allazeena yuhsharoona 'alaa wujoohim ilaa jahannama

    ulaaa'ika sharrum makaananw

    wa adallu sabeelaa

    those who will be gathered to hell on their faces
    such will be in an evil state
    and most astray from the straight way.

    woh jo jahannam ki taraf hanke jayen ge apne munh ke bal
    un ka thikana sab se bura
    aur woh sab se gumraah.

    25.35

     وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ

    وَجَعَلْنَا مَعَهُۥٓ أَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ وَزِيرًا

    Wa laqad aatainaa Moosal Kitaaba

    wa ja'alnaa ma'ahooo akhaahu Haaroona wazeeraa

    and indeed we gave Moosaa the Scripture
    and we placed his brother Aaron with him as a helper.

    aur beshak hum ne musa ko kitaab ataa farmai
    aur is ke bhai Haroon ko wazeer kya.

    25.36

     فَ قُلْنَا  ٱذْهَبَآ إِلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا

    فَدَمَّرْنَٰهُمْ تَدْمِيرًا

    Faqulnaz habaaa ilal qawmil lazeena kazzaboo bi Aayaatinaa

    fadammarnaahum tadmeeraa

    and we said: go you both to the people who have denied our Auyaats
    then we destroyed them with utter destruction.

    to hum ne farmaya tum dono jao us qoum ki taraf jis ne hamari ayatain jhutlayi
    phir hum ne unhen tabah kar ke halaak kar diya.

    25.37

    وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ

    لَّمَّا كَذَّبُوا۟ ٱلرُّسُلَ أَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ

    وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ ءَايَةً

    ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا  لظَّٰلِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

    Wa qawma Noohil

    lammaa kazzabur Rusula aghraqnaahum

    wa ja'alnaahum linnaasi Aayatanw

    wa a'tadnaa lizzaalimeena 'azaaban aleemaa

    and Noah’s the people
    when they denied the Prophet we drowned them
    and we made them for as a sign mankind
    and we have prepared painful for torment the wrong-doers.

    aur Nooh ki qoum ko
    jab unhon ne rasoolon ko jhutlaya hum ne un ko dubo diya
    aur unhen logon ke liye nishani kar diya
    aur hum ne zaalmon ke liye dard naak azaab tayyar kar rakha hai.

    25.38

     وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَا۟ وَأَصْحَٰبَ ٱلرَّسِّ

    وَقُرُونًۢا بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ كَثِيرًا

    Wa 'Aadanw Samooda wa As haabar Rassi

    wa quroonam baina zaalika kaseeraa

    and Ad and  Thamud and the Dwellers of Ar-Rass
    and many those generation in between.

    aur Aad aur samood aur kunwen walon ko
    aur un ke beech me bahut si sangaten ( qoumen ).

    25.39

     وَكُلًّا ضَرَبْنَا لَهُ ٱلْأَمْثَٰلَ ۖ 

    وَكُلًّا تَبَّرْنَا تَتْبِيرًا

    Wa kullan darabnaa lahul amsaala

    wa kullan tabbarnaa tatbeera

    and for each of them we put forward examples for him, and each we brought to ruin destruction.

    aur hum ne sab se misalen bayan farmaen
    aur sab ko tabah kar ke mita diya.

    25.40

     وَلَقَدْ أَتَوْا۟ عَلَى ٱلْقَرْيَةِ

    ٱلَّتِىٓ أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ ٱلسَّوْءِ

    ۚ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُوا۟ يَرَوْنَهَا ۚ

    بَلْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًا

    Wa laqad ataw 'alal qaryat

    il lateee umtirat mataras saw';

    afalam yakoonoo yarawnahaa;

    bal kaanoo laa yarjoona nushooraa

    and indeed they have passed by the town
    of Lot on which was rained rain the evil
    are not they are able to seet it?
    Nay! But they used not to expect any resurection.

    aur zaroor yeh ho aaye hain us bastii par
    jis par bura barsao barsa tha
    to kya yeh use dekhte na the
    balke unhen jee uthne ki umeed thi hi nahi.

    25.41

     وَإِذَا رَأَوْكَ إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا

    أَهَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى بَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ رَسُولًا

    Wa izaa ra awka iny yattakhizoonaka illaa huzuwan

    ahaazal lazee ba'asal laahu Rasoolaa

    and when they see you they treat you only in mockery
    is this the one whom Allah has sent as a Prophet?

    aur jab tumhe dekhte hain to tumhe nahi tahrate magar thatha
    kya yeh hain jin ko Allah ne rasool bana kar bheja.

    25.42

    إِن كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنْ ءَالِهَتِنَا

    لَوْلَآ أَن صَبَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا

    ۚ وَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْعَذَابَ

    مَنْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا

    In kaada la yudillunaa 'an aalihatinaa

    law laaa an sabarnaa 'alaihaa;

    wa sawfa ya'lamoona heena yarawnal 'azaaba

    man adallu sabeela

    He would have nearly misled us from our gods
    had it not been that we were patient and constant in their worship
    and they will know, when they see the torment
    who it is that is most astray from the right way.

    qareeb tha ke yeh hame hamare khudaon se behka den
    agar hum un par sabr na karte
    aur ab janna chahte hain jis din azaab dekhen ge
    ke kon gumraah tha.

    25.43

    أَرَءَيْتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ

    أَفَأَنتَ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ وَكِيلًا

    Ara'aita manit takhaza ilaahahoo hawaahu

    afa anta takoonu 'alaihi wakeelaa

    Have you seen? Him who has taken as his god his own desire
    would you then be over him a watcher affairs?

    kya tum ne use dekha jis ne apne man ki khahish ko apna khuda bana liya
    to kya tum us ki nigehbani ka zimma lo ge.

    25.44

     أَمْ تَحْسَبُ أَنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ أَوْ يَعْقِلُونَ

    ۚ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ ۖ

    بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا

    Am tahsabu anna aksarahum yasma'oona aw ya''qiloon;

    in hum illaa kal an'aami

    bal hum adallu sabeelan 

    Or you think that most of them hear or understand?
    They are only like cattle
    nay they are even feather astray from the way.

    ya yeh samajhte ho ke un me bahut kuch sunte ya samajhte hain
    woh to nahi magar jaise chopaye
    balke un se bhi badter gumraah.

    25.45

     أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ

    كَيْفَ مَدَّ ٱلظِّلَّ

    وَلَوْ شَآءَ لَجَعَلَهُۥ سَاكِنًا

    ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا ٱلشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلًا

    Alam tara ilaa Rabbika

    kaifa maddaz zilla

    wa law shaaa'a laja'alahoo saakinan

    summa ja'alnash shamsa 'alaihe daleelaa

    do you not see to yur Raub?
    How he spread the shadow
    if he willed he could have made it still
    then we have made the sun over it a guide.

    aey mehboob! kya tum ne apne rab ko na dekha
    ke kaisa pheyla saya
    aur agar chahta to use thehraya huwa kar deta
    phir hum ne Suraj ko is par Daleel kiya.

    25.46

    ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَٰهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا

    Summa qabadnaahu ilainaa qabdany yaseeraa

    then we withdraw it to us a gradual withdrawal. 

    phir hum ne aahista aahista use apni taraf sameta.

    25.47

     وَهُوَ  ٱلَّذِى  جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا

    وَٱلنَّوْمَ سُبَاتًا

    وَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ نُشُورًا

    Wa Huwal lazee ja'ala lakumul laila libaasanw

    wannawma subaatanw

    wa ja'alan nahaara nushooraa

    and it is who makes for you the night a covering
    and the sleep as a repose
    and makes the day getting up like resurrection.

    aur wohi hai jis ne raat ko tumahre liye parda kya
    aur neend ko aaraam
    aur din banaya uthne ke liye.

    25.48

     وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ بُشْرًۢا بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦ

    ۚ وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً طَهُورًا

    Wa Huwal lazeee arsalar riyaaha bushram baina yadai rahmatih;

    wa anzalnaa minas samaaa'i maaa'an tahooraa

    and it is He who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings before His Mercy
    and we send down pure water from the sky.

    aur wohi hai jis ne hawaen bheji apni rahmat ke age Muzda sunai hui
    aur hum ne aasman se pani utaara pak karne wala.

    25.49

     لِّنُحْۦِىَ بِهِۦ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا

    وَنُسْقِيَهُۥ مِمَّا خَلَقْنَآ أَنْعَٰمًا

    وَأَنَاسِىَّ كَثِيرًا

    Linuhyiya bihee balda tam maitanw

    wa nusqiyahoo mimmaa khalaqnaaa an'aa manw

    wa anaasiyya kaseeraa

    that we may give life the reby to a dead land
    and we give to drink thereof the cattle we have created.
    and men that many of 

    taake hum us se zindah karen kisi murda shahar ko
    aur use pilaen apne banaye hove chopaye
    aur bahut se admion ko.

    25.50

    وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَٰهُ بَيْنَهُمْ

    لِيَذَّكَّرُوا۟

    فَأَبَىٰٓ أَكْثَرُ ٱلنَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًا

    Wa laqad sarrafnaahu bainahum

    li yazzakkaroo

    fa abaaa aksarun naasi illaa kufooraa

    and indeed we have distributed it among them in order that
    they may remember the grace of Allah
    but refuse or deny most men people except disbelief.

    aur beshak hum ne un me pani ke phere rakhe
    ke woh dhiyaan karen
    to bahut logon ne na mana magar na shukri karna.

    25.51

    وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَبَعَثْنَا فِى كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ نَّذِيرًا

    Wa law shi'naa laba'asnaa fee kulli qar yatin nazeeraa

    and had we willed we would have raised a warner in every town.

    aur hum chahte to har basti me ek dar sunane wala bhaijte.

    25.52

     فَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

    وَجَٰهِدْهُم بِهِۦ جِهَادًا كَبِيرًا

    Falaa tuti'il kaafireena

    wa jaahidhum bihee jihaadan kabeeraa

    so you not obey the disbelievers
    and but warring against them the utmost endeavour with it

    to kafiron ka kaha na maan
    aur us quran se un par jihaad kar barha jihaad.

    25.53

     وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ

    هَٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ

    وَهَٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ

    وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًا وَحِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا

    Wa Huwal lazee marajal bahraini

    haazaa 'azbun furaatunw

    wa haazaa milhun ujaaj;

    wa ja'ala bainahumaa barzakhanw wa hijram mahjooraa

    and it is he who has let free merge the two seas,
    this one is palatable and sweet,
    and this one is salt and bitter
    and he has set a barrier between them and partition suppressed.

    aur wohi hai jis ne mile hove rawan kiye do samundar
    yeh meetha hai nihayat shereen
    aur yeh khaari hai nihayat talkh
    aur un ke beech me parda rakha aur roki hui aarh.

    25.54

    وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ بَشَرًا

    فَجَعَلَهُۥ نَسَبًا وَصِهْرًا

    ۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًا

    Wa Huwal lazee khalaqa minal maaa'i basharan

    fa ja'alahoo nasaban wa sihraa;

    wa kaana Rabbuka Qadeeraa

    and it is He who created man from water,
    and has appointed for him kindred by blood and kindred by marriage,
    and your Raub is ever the All Powerful.

    aur wohi hai jis ne pani se banaya aadmi
    phir us ke rishte aur sasural muqarrar ki
    aur tumhara rab qudrat wala hai.

    25.55

     وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ

     مَا  لَا يَنفَعُهُمْ

    وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمْ ۗ

    وَكَانَ ٱلْكَافِرُ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ ظَهِيرًا

    Wa ya'budoona min doonil laahi

    maa laa yanfa'uhum

    wa laa yadurruhum;

    wa kaanal kaafiru 'alaa Rabbihee zaheeraa

    and they worship besides Allah
    that which can neither benefit profit them
    nor harm them
    and the disbeliever is ever a helper against his Raub.

    aur Allah ke siwa aison ko pujte hain
    jo na un ka bhala karen
    na bura 
    aur kafir apne rab ke moqabil shaitan ko madad deta hai.

    25.56

     وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا

    Wa maa arsalnaaka illaa mubashshiranw wa nazeeraa

    and we have sent you only as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner. 

    aur hum ne tumhe na bheja magar khushi aur dar sunataa.

    25.57

     قُلْ مَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ

    إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ أَن يَتَّخِذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًا

    Qul maaa as'alukum 'alaihi min ajrin

    illaa man shaaa'a ai yattakhiza ilaa Rabbihee sabeelaa

    say: no reward do I ask of you for this
    save that whosoever wills to take a way to his Raub.

    tum farmao mai us par tum se kuch ujrat nahi mangta
    magar jo chahe ke apne rab ki taraf raah le.

    25.58

    وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱلْحَىِّ

    ٱلَّذِى لَا يَمُوتُ

    وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِۦ ۚ

    وَكَفَىٰ بِهِۦ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًا

    Wa tawakkal 'alal Haiy

    il lazee laa yamootu

    wa sabbih bihamdih;

    wa kafaa bihee bizunoobi 'ibaadihee khabeeraa

    and put your trust in the ever living one
    who not dies
    and glorify his praises
    and he is sufficient as all-Aware of the sins his slaves.

    aur bharosa karo is zindah par
    jo kabhi na marega
    aur use sarahte hove us ki paki bolo
    aur wohi kaafi hai apne bandon ke gunaaho par khabardaar.

    25.59

    ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ

    ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ۚ

    ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ

    فَسْـَٔلْ بِهِۦ خَبِيرًا

    Allazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda wa maa bainahumaa fee sittati aiyaamin

    summastawaa 'alal 'Arsh;

    ar Rahmaanu

    fas'al bihee khabeeraa

    Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days
    then he operated the heaven the throne, 
    The Most Gracious
    so ask him as he is the All-Aware.

    jis ne aasman aur zameen aur jo kuch un ke darmiyan hai 6 din me banaye
    phir arsh par istawa farmaya 
    (jaisa ke us ki shaan ke Laiq hai)
    woh badi mahar (rahmat) wala
    to kisi janne wale se us ki tareef pooch.

    25.60

    وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ

    قَالُوا۟ وَمَا ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ

    أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا

    وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًا ۩

    Wa izaa qeela lahumus judoo lir Rahmaani
    qaaloo wa mar Rahmaanu
    A nasjudu limaa taamurunaa
    wa zaadahum nufooraa

    and when it is said to them protrate yourselves to The Most Gracious,
    they said: and what is the Most Gracious!
    Shall we fall down in prostration to that which you command us?
    And it increases in them aversion.

    aur jab un se kaha jaye Rehman ko sajda karo
    kahte hai Rahman kya hai,
    kya hum sajda kar len jise tum kaho
    aur us hukum ne unhen aur bidakna barhhaya

    25.61

     تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا

    وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَٰجًا وَقَمَرًا مُّنِيرًا

    Tabaarakal lazee ja'ala fis samaaa'i buroojanw

    wa ja'ala feehaa siraajanw wa qamaram muneeraa

    he is who blessed; has placed in the heaven big stars
    and has placed therein a great lamp and a moon giving light.

    barhi barkat wala hai woh jis ne aasman me burj banaye
    aur un me chiragh rakha aur chamakta chaand.

    25.62

     وَهُوَ  ٱلَّذِى  جَعَلَ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً

    لِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ

    أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا

    Wa huwal lazee ja'alal laila wannahaara khilfatal

    liman araada ai yazzakkara

    aw araadaa shookooraa

    and he it is who has put the night and the day in succession
    for such who desires to remember
    or desires to show his gratitude.

    aur wohi hai jis ne raat aur din ki badli rakhi
    us ke liye jo dheyaan karna chahen 
    ya shukar ka iradah karen.

    25.63

     وَعِبَادُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ

    ٱلَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا

    وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ ٱلْجَٰهِلُونَ

    قَالُوا۟ سَلَٰمًا

    Wa 'ibaadur Rahmaan

    il lazeena yamshoona 'alal ardi hawnanw 

    wa izaa khaata bahumul jaahiloona

    qaaloo salaamaa

    and the slaves of the Most Gracious
    are those who walk on earth in humility
    when and saddatness them the foolish;
    they said: “peace” mild word of gentleness.

    aur Rahman ke woh bande
    ke zameen par aahista chalte hain
    aur jab jaahil un se baat karte hain
    to kahte hain bas salam.

    25.64

     وَٱلَّذِينَ يَبِيتُونَ لِرَبِّهِمْ سُجَّدًا وَقِيَٰمًا

    Wallazeena yabeetoona li Rabbihim sujjadanw wa qiyaamaa

    and those who spend the night before their Raub prostrating and standing.

    aur woh jo raat katate hain apne rab ke liye sajde aur qiyam me.

    25.65

     وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا

    ٱصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ

    إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا

    Wallazeena yaqooloona Rabban

    as rif 'annaa 'azaaba Jahannama

    inna 'azaabahaa kaana gharaamaa

    and those who say: Our Raub
    avent from us the torment of hell.
    Verily its torment is an inseparable permanent punishment.

    aur woh jo arz karte hain ae hamare rab!
    hum se pher de jahannam ka azaab,
    beshak us ka azaab gale ka ghul phanda hai.

    25.66

     إِنَّهَا سَآءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا

    Innahaa saaa'at mustaqarranw wa muqaamaa

    evil indeed it is as an abode and as a place to dwell.

    .

     

    beshak woh bahut hi buri thaharne ki jagah hai.

    25.67

     وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَنفَقُوا۟

    لَمْ يُسْرِفُوا۟ وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُوا۟

    وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ قَوَامًا

    Wallazeena izaaa anfaqoo

    lam yusrifoo wa lam yaqturoo

    wa kaana baina zaalika qawaamaa

    and those who when they spend,
    neither are extravagant and nor stingy
    but there is a medium way between those extremes.

    aur woh ke jab kharch karte hain
    na had se badhen aur na tangi karen
    aur un dono ke beech aitedaal par rahen.

    25.68

    وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ

    وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ ٱلنَّفْسَ

    ٱلَّتِى حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ

    وَلَا يَزْنُونَ ۚ

    وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا

    Wallazeena laa yad'oona ma'al laahi ilaahan aakhara

    wa laa yaqtuloonan nafs

    al latee harramal laahu illaa bilhaqqi

    wa laa yaznoon;

    wa mai yaf'al zaalika yalqa asaamaa

    and those who not invoke another god with Allah
    nor they kill the soul
    which as Allah has forbidden except for just cause
    nor commit illegal sexual intercouse
    and whoever does this shall receive the punishment.

    aur woh jo Allah ke sath kisi dosre mabood ko nahi pujte
    aur us jaan ko nahi maarte
    jis ki Allah ne hurmat rakhi na-haq  
    aur badkaari nahi karte
    aur jo yeh kaam kere woh saza paye ga.

    25.69

     يُضَٰعَفْ لَهُ ٱلْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ

    وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِۦ مُهَانًا

    Yudaa'af lahul 'azaabu Yawmal Qiyaamati

    wa yakhlud feehee muhaanaa

    The torment will be doubled for to him on the day of resurrection,
    and he will abide therein in disgrace.

    barhhaya jaye ga is par azab qayamat ke din
    aur hamesha us me zillat se rahe ga.

    25.70

     إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ  عَمَلًا  صَٰلِحًا

    فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ ٱللَّهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ حَسَنَٰتٍ ۗ

    وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا

    Illaa man taaba wa 'aamana wa 'amila 'amalan saalihan

    fa ulaaa'ika yubad dilul laahu saiyi aatihim hasanaat;

    wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheemaa

    except those who repent and believe and do deed righteous deeds
    for those will Allah change their sins into good deeds
    and is Allah Most-Forgiving Most Merciful. 

    magar jo tauba kere aur imaan laaye aur acha kaam kere
    to aison ki buraiyon ko Allah bhalaiyon se badal de ga
    aur Allah bakhsne wala meharban hai.

    25.71

     وَمَن تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًا

    فَإِنَّهُ يَتُوبُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَتَابًا

    Wa man taaba wa 'amila saalihan

    fa innnahoo yatoobu ilal laahi mataabaa

    and whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds
    then verily he repents to, Allah with true repentance.

    aur jo tauba kere aur acha kaam kere
    to woh Allah ki taraf rujoo laya jaisi chahiye thi.

    25.72

     وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ ٱلزُّورَ

    وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِٱللَّغْوِ مَرُّوا۟ كِرَامًا

    Wallazeena laa yash hadoonaz zoora

    wa izaa marroo billaghwi marroo kiraamaa

    and those who do not bear witness to falsehood,
    and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity.

    aur jo jhooti gawahi nahi dete
    aur jab behooda par guzarte hain apni izzat sambhale guzar jate hain.

    25.73

     وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ

    لَمْ يَخِرُّوا۟ عَلَيْهَا صُمًّا وَعُمْيَانًا

    Wallazeena izaa zukkiroo bi Aayaati Rabbihim

    lam yakhirroo 'alaihaa summanw wa'umyaanaa

     

    and those who when they are reminded of Auyaats of their Raub,
    they not fall upon it deaf and blind.

    aur woh ke jab ke unhen un ke rab ki ayaten yaad dilayi jayen
    to un par bahre andhe ho kar nahi girte.

    25.74

    وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا

    هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَٰجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ

    وَٱجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

    Wallazeena yaqooloona Rabbanaa

    hab lanaa min azwaajinaa wa zurriyaatinaa qurrata a'yuninw

    waj 'alnaa lilmuttaqeena Imaamaa

    and those who say: Our Raub!
    Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring the comfort of our eyes
    and make us leaders for the pious.

    aur woh jo arz karte hain, ae hamare rab!
    hame de hamari biwyon aur aulaad se aankhon ki thandak
    aur hame parhez gaaron ka peshwa bana.

    25.75

     أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُجْزَوْنَ ٱلْغُرْفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟

    وَيُلَقَّوْنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةً وَسَلَٰمًا

    Ulaaa'ika yujzawnal ghurfata bimaa sabaroo

    wa yulaqqawna feehaa tahiyyatanw wa salaamaa

    those will be rewarded with the hightest room because
    they kept patience, therein they shall be met with greetings and word of peace. 

    un ko jannat ka sab se uncha baala khanah inaam mile ga badla un ke sabr ka
    aur wahan dua wa aadaab aur salam ke sath un ki peshwai hogi.

    25.76

     خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ

    حَسُنَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا

    Khaalideena feehaa;

    hasunat mustaqarranw wa muqaamaa

    abiding therein
    excellent it is as an abode and a place to dwell!

    hamesha us me rahen ge,
    kya hi achi taherne aur basne ki jagah.

    25.77

    قُلْ مَا يَعْبَؤُا۟ بِكُمْ رَبِّى لَوْلَا دُعَآؤُكُمْ ۖ

    فَقَدْ كَذَّبْتُمْ

    فَسَوْفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامًۢا

     

    Qul maa ya'ba'u bikum Rabbee law laa du'aaa'ukum

    faqad kazzabtum

    fasawfa yakoonu lizaamaa 

    say: not my Raub pays attention to you had there not been of your invocation to him
    but indeed you have denied
    so torment will be your for necessary.

    tum farmao tumhari kuch qader nahi mere rab ke yahan agar tum use na pujo
    to tum ne to jhutlaya
    to ab ho ga woh azaab ke lipat rahe ga.
