    سورة النمل
    Total Ayaat: 93
    Language


    27.1

    طسٓ ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ وَكِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ

    Taa-Seeen; tilka Aayaatul Quraani wa Kitaabim Mubee

    Ta-Sin. These are auyaats of the Qur’an and a clear scripture.

    ta seen yeh aayaten hain quran aur roshan kitaab ki.

    27.2

    هُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

    Hudanw wa bushraa lil mu'mineen

    A guide and glad tidings for the believers.

    hidaayat aur khushkhabri imaan walon ko.

    27.3

    ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ

    وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ

    وَهُم بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ

    Allazeena yuqeemoonas Salaata

    wa yu'toonaz Zakaata

    wa hum bil Aakhirati hum yooqinoon

    Those who perform the prayer,
    and give the Zakat
    and they believe with certainly they in the hereafter.

    woh jo namaz qaem rakhte hain
    aur zakat dete hain
    aur woh akhirat par yaqeen rakhte hain.

    27.4

    إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ

    زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ

    فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

    Innal lazeena laa yu'mimoona bil Aakhirati

    zaiyannaa lahum a'maalahum

    fahum ya'mahoon

    verily those who not believe in hereafer
    we have made their deeds fair-seeming to them
    so that they wander about blindly.

    woh jo akhirat par imaan nahi laate
    hum ne un ke kotak un ki nigah me bhalle kar dikhae hain 
    tu woh bhatakte phir rahe hain

    27.5

    أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلْعَذَابِ

    وَهُمْ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ

    Ulaaa'ikal lazeena lahum sooo'al 'azaabi

    wa hum fil Aakhirati humul akhsaroon

    they are those for whom there will be evil the torment
    and they in the hereafer they will be the greatest losers.

    yeh woh hain jin ke liye bura azaab hai
    aur yahi akhirat me sab se barh kar nuqsaan me.

    27.6

    وَإِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مِن لَّدُنْ حَكِيمٍ عَلِيمٍ

    Wa innaka latulaqqal Quraana mil ladun Hakeemin 'Aleem

    and verily you are being taught the Qur’an from The Ultimately Wise One The Omniscient .

    aur beshak tum quran sikhaye jate ho hikmat wale ilm wale ki taraf se.

    27.7

    إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰلِأَهْلِهِۦٓ

    إِنِّىٓ ءَانَسْتُ نَارًا

    سَـَٔاتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ

    أَوْ ءَاتِيكُم بِشِهَابٍ قَبَسٍ

    لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ

     

    Iz qaala Moosaa li ahliheee

    inneee aanastu naaran

    saaateekum minhaa bikhabarin

    aw aateekum bishihaabin qabasil

    la'allakum tastaloon

    Remember when said Moosaa to his houshold.
    Verily I have seen a fire.
    I will bring you from it some information
    or I will bring you a burning brand
    that you may warm yourselves.

     jab ke Moosa ne apni ghar wali se kaha
    mujhe ek aag nazar parhi hai
    anqareeb may tumahre paas is ki koi khabar lata hun
    ya is me se koi chamakti chingari laonga
    ke tum taapo( raahat lo).

    27.8

    فَلَمَّا جَآءَهَا

    نُودِىَ أَنۢ بُورِكَ مَن فِى ٱلنَّارِ

    وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا

    وَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

    Falammaa jaaa'ahaa

    noodiya am boorika man finnaari

    wa man hawlahaa

    wa Subhaanal laahi Rabbil 'aalameen

    but when he come to it
    he was called that blessed whoever is in the fire
    and whoever is raund about it
    and glorfied is supahaun Allah Raub of the worlds.

    phir jab aag ke paas aaya
    nida ki gayi ke barkat diya gaya woh jo us aag ki jalwagaah me hai
    yani Moosa aur jo us ke aas paas me yani farishte
    aur paki hai Allah ko jo rab hai saare Jahan ka.

    27.9

     يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ

    Yaa Moosaaa innahooo Anal laahul 'Azeezul Hakeem

    O Moosa verily it is I Allah The Most Great One The Ultimately Wise One.

    Ae Moosa baat yeh hai ke may hi hon Allah izzat wala hikmat wala.

    27.10

     وَأَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۚ

    فَلَمَّا رَءَاهَا تَهْتَزُّ

    كَأَنَّهَا جَآنٌّ وَلَّىٰ مُدْبِرًا

    وَلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ ۚ

    يَٰمُوسَىٰ لَا تَخَفْ

    إِنِّى لَا يَخَافُ لَدَىَّ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

    Wa alqi 'asaak;

    falammaa ra aahaa tahtazzu

    ka annahaa jaaannunw wallaa mudbiranw

    wa lam yu'aqqib;

    yaa Moosaa laa takhaf

    innee laa yakhaafu ladaiyal mursaloon

    and throw down your stick!
    But when he saw it moving
    as if it were a snake, he turned in fight
    and did not look back,
    O Moosaa not fear.
    Verily the Prophets not fear infront of Me.

    aur apna asa daal de
    phir jab Moosa ne use dekha lehrata huwa
    goya saanp hai peeth pher kar chala
    aur murh kar na dekha,
    hum ne farmaya ae Moosa dar nahi,
    beshak mere huzoor rasoolon ko khauf nahi hota.

    27.11

     إِلَّا مَن ظَلَمَ

    ثُمَّ بَدَّلَ حُسْنًۢا بَعْدَ سُوٓءٍ

    فَإِنِّى غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

    Illaa man zalama

    summa baddala husnam ba'da sooo'in

    fa innee Ghafoorur Raheem

    Except him who has done wrong
    then he has chaned after evil for good
    then surely I am The All Forgiving One The Most Merciful.

    haan jo koi ziyadti kere
    phir buraiee ke baad bhalai se badle
    to beshak may bakhsne wala meharban hun.

    27.12

    وَأَدْخِلْ يَدَكَ فِى جَيْبِكَ

    تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوٓءٍ ۖ

    فِى تِسْعِ ءَايَٰتٍ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ

    ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَٰسِقِينَ

    Wa adkhil yadaka fee jaibika

    takhruj baidaaa'a min ghairisooo'in

    feetis'i Aayaatin ilaa Fir'awna wa qawmih;

    innahum kaanoo qawman faasiqeen

    and put your hand into your bosom,
    it will come forth white without hurt
    there are in nine signs to Pharaoh and his people.
    Verily they are a people impiouse.

    aur apna haath apne garibaan me daal
    nikle ga sofaid chamakta be aib
    nao nishanion me firaon aur us ki qoum ki taraf,
    beshak woh be hukum log hain.

    27.13

    فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا مُبْصِرَةً

    قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ

    Falammaa jaaa'at hum Aayaatunaa mubsiratan

    qaaloo haazaa sihrum mubeen

    But when our clear signs auaats came to them to see;
    they said: this is a manifest magic.

    phir jab hamari nishanain ankhen kholti un ke paas ayen
    bole yeh to Sarih jadu hai.

    27.14

     وَجَحَدُوا۟ بِهَا

    وَٱسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ أَنفُسُهُمْ ظُلْمًا وَعُلُوًّا ۚ

    فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ

    Wa jahadoo bihaa

    wastaiqanat haaa anfusuhum zulmanw wa 'uluwwaa;

    fanzur kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul mufsideen

    and they rejected them
    wrongfully and arrogantly though their ownselves were convinced,
    so see how was end of the evil-doers!

    aur un ke munkir howe
    aur un ke dilon me un ka yaqeen tha zulm aur takabbur se
    to dekho kaisa anjaam huwa fasaadiyon ka.

    27.15

     وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ عِلْمًا ۖ

    وَقَالَا ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

    ٱلَّذِى فَضَّلَنَا عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِّنْ عِبَادِهِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

    Wa laqad aatainaa Daawooda wa sulaimaana 'ilmaa;

    wa qaalal hamdu lil laah

    il lazee faddalanaa 'alaa kaseerim min 'ibaadihil mu'mineen

    and indeed we gave knowledge to Dawud and Suleymaun,
    and they both said all the praises are to Allah,
    who has preferred us above many of His believing slaves.

    aur beshak hum ne dawood aur Sulaiman ko barha ilm ataa farmaya
    aur dono ne kaha sab khoobiyan Allah ko
    jis ne hame apne bahut se imaan wale bandon par fazeelat bakhshi.

    27.16

    وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَٰنُ دَاوُۥدَ ۖ

    وَقَالَ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنطِقَ ٱلطَّيْرِ

    وَأُوتِينَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ

    ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْفَضْلُ ٱلْمُبِينُ

    Wa warisa Sulaimaanu Daawooda

    wa qaala yaaa aiyuhan naasu 'ullimnaa mantiqat tairi

    wa ooteenaa min kulli shai'in

    inna haazaa lahuwal fadlul mubeen

    and Suleymaun inherited Dawud
    and he said O mankind! We have been taught the language of birds
    and on us has been bestowed all thing from every.
    Verily this indeed it is evident grace. 

    aur Sulaiman Dawood ka janasheen huwa
    aur kaha ae logo! hame parindon ki boli sikhayi gayi
    aur har cheez me se hum ko ataa huwa
    beshak yahi zahir fazl hai.

    27.17

     وَحُشِرَ لِسُلَيْمَٰنَ جُنُودُهُۥ

    مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ وَٱلطَّيْرِ

    فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ

    Wa hushira Sulaimaana junooduhoo

    minal jinni wal insi wattairi

    fahum yooza'oon

    and there were gathered before suleymaun his hosts
    of jinn and men and birds
    and they all were set in battle order.

    aur jama kiye gaye Sulaiman ke liye us ke lashkar
    jino aur admiyon aur parindon se
    to woh roke jate the.

    27.18

    حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَتَوْا۟ عَلَىٰ وَادِ ٱلنَّمْلِ

    قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ

    يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّمْلُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ مَسَٰكِنَكُمْ

    لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَٰنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ

    وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

    hattaaa izaaa ataw 'alaa waadin namli

    qaalat namlatuny

    yaaa aiyuhan namlud khuloo masaakinakum

    laa yahtimannakum Sulaimaanu wa junooduhoo

    wa hum laa yash'uroon

    till when they came to the valley of the ants,
    said one female ant;
    O ants! Enter your dwellings,
    lest suleymaun and his hosts should crush you,
    while they not perceive.

    yahan tak ke jab chontiyon ke naale par aaye
    ek chonti boli
    ae chontiyon! apne gharon me chali jao
    tumhe kuchal na dalen Sulaiman aur un ke lashkar
    aur woh be khaberi me the.

    27.19

    فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكًا مِّن قَوْلِهَا

    وَقَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِىٓ

    أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ

    ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَىَّ

    وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَٰلِحًا تَرْضَىٰهُ

    وَأَدْخِلْنِى بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِى عِبَادِكَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

    Fatabassama daahikam min qawlihaa

    wa qaala Rabbi awzi'nee

    an ashkura ni'matak

    al lateee an'amta 'alaiya wa 'alaa waalidaiya

    wa an a'mala saalihan tardaahu

    wa adkhilnee birahmatika fee 'ibaadikas saaliheen

    So he smiled laughing at her speech
    and said My Raub bestow upon me power
    that I may thank you for your favours.
    Which you have bestowed on me and on my parents
    and that I may do righteous deeds that will be pleased you
    and admit me by your Mercy among your righteous slaves.

    to us ki baat se muskura kar hansa
    aur arz ki ae mere rab! mujhe taufeeq de
    ke may shokar karun tere ehsaan ka
    jo to ne mujh par aur mere maa baap par kiye
    aur yeh ke may woh bhala kaam karun jo tujhe pasand aaye
    aur mujhe apni rahmat se apne un bandon me shaamil kar jo tere qurb khaas ke sazawar hain.

    27.20

     وَتَفَقَّدَ ٱلطَّيْرَ

    فَقَالَ مَا لِىَ لَآ أَرَى ٱلْهُدْهُدَ

    أَمْ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْغَآئِبِينَ

    Wa tafaqqadat taira

    faqaala maa liya laaa aral hud hud,

    am kaana minal ghaaa'ibeen

    and he inspeted the birds,
    and said: what is the matter I not see the hoopoe?
    Or he is among the absentees?

    aur parindon ka jaiza liya
    to bola mujhe kya huwa ke may hudhud ko nahi dekhta
    ya woh waqai haazir nahi.

    27.21

    لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُۥ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا

    أَوْ لَأَذْبَحَنَّهُۥٓ

    أَوْ لَيَأْتِيَنِّى بِسُلْطَٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ

    La-u'azzibanahoo 'azaaban shadeedan

    aw la azbahannahoo

    aw layaatiyannee bisultaanim mubeen

    I will surely punish him with severe punishment,
    or surely slaughter him! 
    or unless he brings me a clear reason.

    zaroor may use sakht azaab karunga
    ya zaroor use zibah kar dun ga
    ya koi roshan sanad mere paas laaye.

    27.22

    فَمَكَثَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ

    فَقَالَ أَحَطتُ بِمَا لَمْ تُحِطْ بِهِۦ

    وَجِئْتُكَ مِن سَبَإٍۭ بِنَبَإٍ يَقِينٍ

    Famakasa ghaira ba'eedin

    faqaala ahattu bimaa lam tuhit bihee

    wa ji'tuka min Sabaim binaba iny-yaqeen

    but he hoopoe stayed, not long
    he said: I have grasped that which you have not grasped it.
    and I have come to you from sheba with true news.

    to hudhud kuch ziyada dair na thehra
    aur aa kar arz ki ke may woh baat dekh kar aaya hon jo huzoor ne na dekhi
    aur mai shaher Saba se huzoor ke paas ek yaqeeni khaber laya hun.

    27.23

     إِنِّى وَجَدتُّ ٱمْرَأَةً تَمْلِكُهُمْ

    وَأُوتِيَتْ مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ

    وَلَهَا عَرْشٌ عَظِيمٌ

    Innee wajattum ra atan tamlikuhum

    wa ootiyat min kulli shai'inw

    wa lahaa 'arshun 'azeem

    verily I found a woman rulling over them
    and she has been given from every thing 
    and for her is a great throne.

    mai ne ek aurat dekhi ke un par badeshahi kar rahi hai
    aur use har cheez me se mila hai
    aur us ka barha takht hai.

    27.24

    وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا

    يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ

    وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ

    فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ

    فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ

    Wajattuhaa wa qawmahaa

    yasjudoona lishshamsi min doonil laahi

    wa zaiyana lahumush Shaitaanu a'maalahum

    fasaddahum 'anis sabeeli

    fahum laa yahtadoon

    I found her and her people
    prostrating themselves before the sun instead of Allah,
    and satan has made their deeds fair-seeming to them
    and has barred them from way.
    So they are not guided.

    mai ne use aur us ki qoum ko paaya
    ke Allah ko chorh kar Suraj ko sajda karte hain
    aur shaitan ne un ke aamaal un ki nigah me sanwaar kar
    un ko seedhi raah se rok diya
    to woh raah nahi paate

    27.25

     أَلَّا يَسْجُدُوا۟ لِلَّهِ

      ٱلَّذِى  يُخْرِجُ ٱلْخَبْءَ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ

    وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُخْفُونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ

    Allaa yasjudoo lillaah

    il lazee yukhrijul khab'a fis samaawaati wal ardi

    wa ya'lamu maa tukhfoona wa maa tu'linoon

    So they do not prostrate themselves before Allah?
    Who brings out the hidden thing In the heavens and the earth
    and knows what you conceal and what you reveal.

    kyun nahi sajda karte Allah ko
    jo nikalta hai asmano aur zameen ki chopi cheezen
    aur jaanta hai jo kuch tum chupate ho aur jo zahir karte ho.

    27.26

     ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ

    رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ 

    Allaahu laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa

    Rabbul 'Arshil Azeem 

    Allah, there is no Raub but He,
    Raub of the supreme throne .

    Allah hai ke us ke siwa koi sacha mabood nahi
    woh barhe arsh ka maalik hai, 

    27.27

     قَالَ سَنَنظُرُ

    أَصَدَقْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

    Qaala sananzuru

    Asadaqta am kunta minal kaazibeen

    He said: we shall see
    you speak the truth? Or you are of the liars?

    Solaiman ne farmaya ab hum dekhen ge
    ke to ne sach kaha ya to jhuto me hai.

    27.28

    ٱذْهَب بِّكِتَٰبِى هَٰذَا

    فَأَلْقِهْ إِلَيْهِمْ

    ثُمَّ تَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ

    فَٱنظُرْ مَاذَا يَرْجِعُونَ

    Izhab bikitaabee haaza

    fa alqih ilaihim

    summa tawalla 'anhum

    fanzur maazaa yarji'oon

    go you with my letter this,
    and deliver it to them,
    then draw back from them
    and see what they return.

    mera yeh farmaan le jaan kar
    un par daal
    phir un se allag hat kar
    dekh ke woh kya jawab dete hain.

    27.29

     قَالَتْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟

    إِنِّىٓ أُلْقِىَ إِلَىَّ كِتَٰبٌ كَرِيمٌ

    Qaalat yaaa aiyuhal mala'u

    innee ulqiya ilaiya kitaabun kareem

    she said: O chiefs!
    Verily is delivered to me a noble letter.

    woh aurat boli ae sardaaro!
    beshak meri taraf aik izzat wala khat dala gaya.

    27.30

     إِنَّهُۥ مِن سُلَيْمَٰنَ

    وَإِنَّهُۥ بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

    Innahoo min Sulaimaana

    wa innahoo bismil laahir Rahmaanir Raheem

    Verily it is from suleymaun
    and verily it in the Name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful.

    beshak woh Sulaiman ki taraf se hai
    aur beshak woh Allah ke naam se hai nihayat meharban reham wala.

    27.31

     أَلَّا تَعْلُوا۟ عَلَىَّ

    وَأْتُونِى مُسْلِمِينَ

    Allaa ta'loo 'alaiya

    waa toonee muslimeen

    Be you not exalted against me
    but come to me as Muslims.

    yeh ke mujh par bulandi na chaho
    aur gardan rakhte mere huzoor haazir ho.

    27.32

    قَالَتْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟

    أَفْتُونِى فِىٓ أَمْرِى

    مَا كُنتُ قَاطِعَةً أَمْرًا

    حَتَّىٰ تَشْهَدُونِ

    Qaalat yaaa aiyuhal mala'u

    aftoonee fee amree

    maa kuntu qaati'atan amran

    hattaa tashhhaddon

    she said: o chiefs
    advise me in my case
    I am not deciding any case
    till you are present.

    boli ae sardaaro!
    mere is muamle me mujhe raye do
    may kisi muamle me koi qataee faisla nahi karti
    jab tak tum mere paas haazir na ho.

    27.33

     قَالُوا۟ نَحْنُ أُو۟لُوا۟ قُوَّةٍ

    وَأُو۟لُوا۟ بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ

    وَٱلْأَمْرُ إِلَيْكِ

    فَٱنظُرِى مَاذَا تَأْمُرِينَ

    Qaaloo nahnu uloo quwwatinw

    wa uloo baasin shadeed;

    wal amru ilaiki

    fanzuree maazaa taamureen

    they said; we are of power
    and of great strengh
    and is for you the command
    so look what do you command.

    woh bole hum zor wale
    aur barhi sakht larhai wale hain
    aur ikhtiyar tera hai
    to nazar kar ke kya hukum deti hai.

    27.34

    قَالَتْ إِنَّ ٱلْمُلُوكَ إِذَا دَخَلُوا۟ قَرْيَةً

    أَفْسَدُوهَا

    وَجَعَلُوٓا۟ أَعِزَّةَ أَهْلِهَآ أَذِلَّةً

    ۖ وَكَذَٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ

    Qaalat innal mulooka izaa dakhaloo qaryatan

    afsadoohaa

    wa ja'alooo a'izzata ahlihaaa azillah;

    wa kazaalika yaf'aloon

    she said: verily kings when they enter a town
    they despoil it,
    and make the most honourable
    of its people the lowest.

    boli beshak badeshah jab kisi basti me daakhil hote hain
    use tabah kar dete hain
    aur is ke izzat walon ko zaleel kardete hain
    aur aisa hi karte hain.

    27.35

    وَإِنِّى مُرْسِلَةٌ إِلَيْهِم بِهَدِيَّةٍ

    فَنَاظِرَةٌۢ بِمَ يَرْجِعُ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

    Wa innee mursilatun ilaihim bihadiyyatin

    fanaaziratum bima yarji'ul mursaloon

    but verily I will send to them a present
    and see with what the messengers return.

    aur may un ki taraf ek tohfa bhejne wali hun
    phir dekhun gi ke alchi kya jawab le kar palte.

    27.36

    فَلَمَّا جَآءَ سُلَيْمَٰنَ

    قَالَ أَتُمِدُّونَنِ بِمَالٍ

    فَمَآ ءَاتَىٰنِۦَ ٱللَّهُ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّآ ءَاتَىٰكُم

    بَلْ أَنتُم بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ

    Falammaa jaaa'a Sulaimaana

    qaala atumiddoonani bimaalin

    famaaa aataanillah khairun mimma aataakum

    bal antum bihadiy yatikum tafrahoon

    so when the messenger came to suleymaun
    he said: will you help me in wealth
    what Allah has given me is better than that which he has given you. 
    Nay you rejoice in your gift.

    phir jab woh Sulaiman ke paas aaya
    farmaya kya maal se meri madad karte ho
    to jo mujhe Allah ne diya woh behtar hai is se jo tumhe diya
    balke tumhe apne tohfa par khush hote ho.

    27.37

    ٱرْجِعْ إِلَيْهِمْ

    فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّهُم بِجُنُودٍ

    لَّا قِبَلَ لَهُم بِهَا

    وَلَنُخْرِجَنَّهُم مِّنْهَآ أَذِلَّةً

    وَهُمْ صَٰغِرُونَ

    Irji' ilaihim

    falanaatiyan nahum bijunoodil

    laa qibala lahum bihaa

    wa lanukhri jannahum minhaaa azillatanw

    wa hum saaghiroon

    Go back to them
    we verily shall come to them with hosts
    that they can not is resistance
    and we shall drive them out from there in disgrace
    and they will be abased.

    palat ja un ki taraf
    to zaroor hum un par woh lashkar layen ge
    jin ki unhen taaqat na ho gi
    aur zaroor hum un ko us shaher se zaleel kar ke nikaal den ge
    yun ke woh past hon ge.

    27.38

     قَالَ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟

    أَيُّكُمْ يَأْتِينِى بِعَرْشِهَا

    قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتُونِى مُسْلِمِينَ

    Qaala yaaa aiyuhal mala'u

    aiyukum yaateenee bi'arshihaa

    qabla ai yaatoonee muslimeen

    He said: O chiefs
    which of you can bring me her throne
    before that they come to me as Muslims.

    Sulaiman ne farmaya, ae darbaariyo !
    tum me kon hai ke woh is ka takhat mere paas le aaye
    qabl is ke, ke woh mere huzoor farma bardaar ho kar haazir hon.

    27.39

     قَالَ عِفْرِيتٌ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ

    أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ

    قَبْلَ أَن تَقُومَ مِن مَّقَامِكَ

    ۖ وَإِنِّى عَلَيْهِ لَقَوِىٌّ أَمِينٌ

    Qaala 'ifreetum minal jinni

    ana aateeka bihee

    qabla an taqooma mim maqaamika

    wa innee 'alaihi laqawiyyun ameen

    a strong one from the jinn said: 
    I will bring to it you
    before that you rise from your place
    and verily I am indeed strong trustworthy for it.

    ek barha khabees jin bola
    ke may woh takht huzoor me haazir kar dun ga
    qabal is ke ke huzoor ijlaas barkhast karen
    aur mai beshak is par quwat wala amanatdar hun.

    27.40

     قَالَ ٱلَّذِى عِندَهُۥ عِلْمٌ مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ

    أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ

    قَبْلَ أَن يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَ ۚ

    فَلَمَّا رَءَاهُ مُسْتَقِرًّا عِندَهُۥ

    قَالَ هَٰذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّى

    لِيَبْلُوَنِىٓ ءَأَشْكُرُ أَمْ أَكْفُرُ

    ۖ وَمَن شَكَرَ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ

    وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ رَبِّى غَنِىٌّ كَرِيمٌ

    Qaalal lazee indahoo 'ilmum minal Kitaabi

    ana aateeka bihee

    qabla ai yartadda ilaika tarfuk;

    falammaa ra aahu mustaqirran 'indahoo

    qaala haazaa min fadli Rabbee

    li yabluwaneee 'a-ashkuru am akfuru

    wa man shakara fa innamaa yashkuru linafsihee

    wa man kafara fa inna Rabbee Ghaniyyun Kareem

    said one who with him was knowledge of the scripture.
    I will bring to you it
    befor that returns to you your eyesight
    then when he saw it placed before him
    he said: “this is from grace of my Raub”
    to test me wheither lam grateful or ungrateful?
    And whoever is grateful indeed he is grateful for himself
    and who is ungrateful certainly my Raub is Rich Bountiful.

    us ne arz ki jis ke paas kitaab ka ilm tha
    ke mai use hozor me haazir kar dun ga
    ek palak maarne se pehle
    phir jab Sulaiman ne takht ko apne paas rakha dekha
    kaha ke yeh mere rab ke fazl se hai,
    taake mujhe aazamaaye ke mai shukar karta hon ya na shukri,
    aur jo shukar kere woh apne bhale ko shukar karta hai
    aur jo na shukri kere to mera rab be parwah hai sab khoobiyon wala.

    27.41

     قَالَ نَكِّرُوا۟ لَهَا عَرْشَهَا نَنظُرْ

    أَتَهْتَدِىٓ أَمْ تَكُونُ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ

    Qaala nakkiroo lahaa 'arshahaa nanzur

    Atahtadeee am takoonu minal lazeena laa yahtadoon

    He said: disguise her thorone for her that we may see
    whether she will be guided? Or she will be one of those who are not guided?

    Sulaiman ne hukum diya aurat ka takht us ke samne begana kar do ke hum dekhen
    ke kya woh raah paati hai ya un me hoti hai jo na waqif rahe.

    27.42

     فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْ قِيلَ أَهَٰكَذَا عَرْشُكِ ۖ

    قَالَتْ كَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ ۚ

    وَأُوتِينَا ٱلْعِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهَا

    وَكُنَّا مُسْلِمِينَ

    Falammaa jaaa'at qeela Ahaakaza 'arshuki

    qaalat kaanna hoo;howa

    wa ooteenal 'ilma min qablihaa

    wa kunnaa muslimeen

    So when she came it was said is your thorone like this.
    She said it is as though it were the same.”
    And knowledge was bestowed on us before her
    and we were Muslims submitted to Alla. 

    phir jab woh aayi us se kaha gaya kya tera takhat aisa hi hai,
    boli goya yeh wohi hai
    aur hum ko us waqea se pehle khabar mil chuki
    aur hum farmanbardar hue.

    27.43

     وَصَدَّهَا مَا كَانَت تَّعْبُدُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ

    إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مِن قَوْمٍ كَٰفِرِينَ

    Wa saddahaa maa kaanat ta'budu min doonil laahi

    innahaa kaanat min qawmin kaafireen

    that which she used to worship besides Allah has prevented her.
    Indeed she was of a people disbelieving.

    aur use roka us cheez ne jise woh Allah ke siwa pujti thi,
    beshak woh kafir logon me se thi.

    27.44

     قِيلَ لَهَا ٱدْخُلِى ٱلصَّرْحَ ۖ

    فَلَمَّا رَأَتْهُ حَسِبَتْهُ لُجَّةً

    وَكَشَفَتْ عَن سَاقَيْهَا ۚ

    قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ صَرْحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّن قَوَارِيرَ ۗ

    قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِى

    وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَٰنَ لِلَّهِ

    رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

    Qeela lahad khulis sarha

    falammaa ra at hu hasibat hu lujjatanw

    wa khashafat 'an saaqaihaa;

    qaala innahoo sarhum mumarradum min qawaareer;

    qaalat Rabbi innee zalamtu nafsee

    wa aslamtu ma'a Sulaimaana lillaahi

    Rabbil 'aalameen

    it was said to her: “enter the place”
    but when she saw it she thought it to be a pool.
    And she uncovered her legs.
    He said: verily it is a place traced smooth with glass.
    She said: My Raub verily I have wronged myself
    and I submit with suleymaun to Allah
    the Raub of the worls. 

    us se kaha gaya sahen me aa
    phir jab us ne use dekha gahra pani samjhi
    aur apni saaqen kholin
    Sulaiman ne farmaya yeh to ek chikna sahen hai shishon jorha
    aurat ne arz ki ae mere rab! mai ne apni jaan par zulm kya
    aur ab Sulaiman ke sath Allah ke huzoor gardan rakhti hun
    jo rab saare Jahan ka.

    27.45

    وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَٰلِحًا

    أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ

    فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَ

    Wa laqad arsalnaaa ilaa Samoda akhaahum Saalihan

    ani'budul lahha

    fa izaa hum fareeqaani yakhtasimoon

    and indeed we sent to Thamud their brother Salih
    to worship Allah.
    Then look they became two parties quarreling with each other.

    aur beshak hum ne Samood ki taraf un ke hum qoum Saleh ko bheja
    ke Allah ko pujo
    to jabhi woh do giroh ho gaye jhagrha karte.

    27.46

     قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ

    ۖ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ ٱللَّهَ

    لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

    Qaala yaa qawmi lima tasta'jiloona bissaiyi'ati qablal hasanati

    law laa tas taghfiroonal laaha

    la'allakum turhamoon

    he said O My People, why do you seek to hasten the evil before the good ?
    why seek you not the forgiveness of Allah
    that may be treated with mercy.

    Saleh ne farmaya ae meri qoum! kyun buraiee ki jaldi karte ho bhalai se pehle
    Allah se bakhshish kyun nahi mangte
    shayad tum par reham ho.

    27.47

     قَالُوا۟ ٱطَّيَّرْنَا بِكَ وَبِمَن مَّعَكَ ۚ

    قَالَ طَٰٓئِرُكُمْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ

    ۖ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تُفْتَنُونَ

    Qaalut taiyarnaa bika wa bimam ma'ak;

    qaala taaa'irukum 'indal laahi

    bal antum qawmun tuftanoon

    they said: “we auger ill omen from you and those with you.”
    he said your ill omen is with Allah.
    Nay but you are a people that are baing tested.

    bole hum ne bura shagun kya tum se aur tumahre sathiyon se
    farmaya tumhari bad shugooni Allah ke paas hai
    balke tum log fitne me parhe ho.

    27.48

     وَكَانَ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ تِسْعَةُ رَهْطٍ

    يُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُونَ

    Wa kaana fil madeenati tis'atu rahtiny

    yufsidoona fil ardi wa laa yuslihoon

    and there were in the city nine men
    who made mischief in the land and would not reform.

    aur shehar me 9 shakhs the
    ke zameen me fasaad karte aur sanwaar na chahte

    27.49

     قَالُوا۟ تَقَاسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ

    لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُۥ وَأَهْلَهُۥ

    ثُمَّ لَنَقُولَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهِۦ

    مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِۦ

    وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ

    Qaaloo taqaasamoo billaahi

    lanubaiyitannahoo wa ahlahoo

    summaa lanaqoolanna liwaliy yihee

    maa shahidnaa mahlika ahliee

    wa innaa lasaadiqoon

    they swear one to another by Allah then said:
    we shall surely make a night attack on him and of his hausehold.
    Then we will surely say to his near relative:
    “we witnessed not the destruction of his household”
    and verily we are truthful.

    aapas me Allah ki kasmen kha kar bole
    hum zaroor raat ko chhapa maren ge Saleh aur us ke ghar walon par
    phir us ke waris se kahen ge
    is ghar walon ke qatal ke waqt hum haazir na the
    aur beshak hum sache hain.

    27.50

     وَمَكَرُوا۟ مَكْرًا

    وَمَكَرْنَا مَكْرًا

    وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

    Wa makaroo makranw

    wa makarnaa makranw

    wa hum laa yash'uroon

    So they plotted a plot
    and we planned a plan
    while they not percived. 

    aur unhon ne apna sa makr (fareb) kya
    aur hum ne apni khufia tadbeer farmai
    aur woh ghaafil rahe.

    27.51

     فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ مَكْرِهِمْ

    أَنَّا دَمَّرْنَٰهُمْ وَقَوْمَهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

    Fanzur kaifa kaana 'aaqibatu makrihim

    annaa dammar naahum wa qawmahum ajma'een

    thus see! How was end of their plot,
    verily we destroyed them and their people all together.

    to dekho kaisa anjaam huwa un ke makr (fareb) ka
    ham ne helaak kar diya unhen aur un ki saari qoum ko.

    27.52

    فَتِلْكَ بُيُوتُهُمْ خَاوِيَةًۢ بِمَا ظَلَمُوٓا۟ ۗ

    إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ

    Fatilka buyootuhum khaa wiyatam bimaa zalamoo;

    inna fee zaalika la Aayatal liqaw miny-ya'lamoon

    these are their houses in utter ruin for what they did wrong,
    verily in this is indeed a sign auyat for people who know.

    to yeh hain un ke ghar dah parhe badla un ke zulm ka,
    beshak is me nishani hai janne walon ke liye.

    27.53

     وَأَنجَيْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ يَتَّقُونَ

    Wa anjainal lazeena aamanoo wa kaanoo yattaqoon

    and we saved those who believed and used to fear Allah.

    aur hum ne un ko bacha liya jo imaan laaye aur darte the.

    27.54

     وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ

    أَتَأْتُونَ ٱلْفَٰحِشَةَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ

    Wa lootan iz qaala liqawmiheee

    Ataatoonal faa hishata wa antum tubsiroon

    and loot when he said to his people
    do you commit indecency while you see.

    aur Loot ko jab is ne apni qoum se kaha
    kya be hayai par aate ho aur tum soojh rahe ho.

    27.55

    أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّن دُونِ ٱلنِّسَآءِ ۚ

    بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ

    A'innakum lataatoonar rijaala shahwatam min doonin nisaaa'

    bal antum qawmun tajhaloon 

    why do you practise your lusts on men instead of women.
    Nay but you are a people who are ignorant

    kya tum mardon ke paas masti se jate ho aurten chorh kar
    balke tum jaahil log ho.

    27.56

     فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟

    أَخْرِجُوٓا۟ ءَالَ لُوطٍ مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ

    إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ

    Famaa kaana jawaaba qawmiheee illaaa an qaalooo

    akrijoon aalaa Lootim min qaryatikum

    innahum unaasuny yatatahharoon

    So there was not answer by his people except that they said:
    drive out the family of lot from your city.
    Verily they are a people who are clean.

    to us ki qoum ka kuch jawab na tha magar yeh ke bole
    Loot ke gharane ko apni basti se nikaal do
    beshak yeh log to suthrapan chahte hain.

    27.57

     فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ

    قَدَّرْنَٰهَا مِنَ ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ

    Fa anjainaahu wa ahlahooo illam ra atahoo

    qaddarnaahaa minal ghaabireen

    So we saved him and his family except his wife.
    We distined her to be of those who remained behind.

    to hum ne use aur us ke ghar walon ko nijaat di magar is ki aurat ko
    hum ne thehra diya tha ke woh reh jane walon me hai.

    27.58

     وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا ۖ

    فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ

    Wa amtarnaa 'alaihim mataran

    fasaaa'a matarul munzareen

    and we rained down on them a rain of stones.
    So evil was the rain of those who were warned.

    aur hum ne un par ek barsao barsaya
    to kya hi bura barsao tha dary howoon ka.

    27.59

     قُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

    وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصْطَفَىٰٓ ۗ

    ءَآللَّهُ خَيْرٌ أَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

    Qulil hamdu lillaahi

    wa salaamun 'alaa 'ibaadihil lazeenas tafaa;

    aaallaahu khairun ammaa yushrikoon

    say: All praise is to Allah,
    and peace be on his slaves whom he has chosen
    is Allah better or what they ascribe as partners?

    tum kaho sab khoobiyan Allah ko
    aur salam us ke chone hove bandon par
    kya Allah behtar ya un ke saakhta shareek.

    27.60

     أَمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ

    وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً

    فَأَنۢبَتْنَا بِهِۦ حَدَآئِقَ ذَاتَ بَهْجَةٍ

    مَّا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُنۢبِتُوا۟ شَجَرَهَآ ۗ

    أَءِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ

    بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ يَعْدِلُونَ

    Amman khalaqas samaawaati wal arda

    wa anzala lakum minas samaaa'i maaa'an

    fa ambatnaa bihee hadaaa'iqa zaata bahjjah;

    maa kanna lakum an tumbitoo shajarahaa;

    A-ilaahum ma'al laah;

    bal hum qawmuny ya'diloon

    Is not he who created the heavens and the earth
    and sends down for you water from the sky?
    And we cause to grow with it gardens full of beauty and delight.
    It is not in your that you cause to grow of their trees.
    Is there any god with Allah?
    Nay but! They are a people who ascribe equals.

    aur jis ne aasman o zameen banaye
    aur tumahre liye aasman se pani utaara
    to hum ne us se baagh ugaye ronaq wale
    tumhari taaqat na thi ke un ke perh ogate
    kya Allah ke sath koi aur khuda hai
    balke woh log raah se katrate hain.

    27.61

     أَمَّن جَعَلَ ٱلْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا

    وَجَعَلَ خِلَٰلَهَآ أَنْهَٰرًا

    وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَٰسِىَ

    وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ حَاجِزًا ۗ

    أَءِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ

    ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

    Ammann ja'alal arda qaraaranw

    wa ja'ala khilaalahaaa anhaaranw

    wa ja'ala lahaa rawaasiya

    wa ja'ala bainal bahraini haajizaa;

    A-ilaahumma'allah;

    bal aksaruhum la ya'lamoon

    is he who has made the earth as a fixed abode?
    And has placed rivers in its mid,
    and has placed for it firm mountains
    and has made a barrier between the two seas?
    Is there any god with Allah.
    Nay but! Most of them they not know.

    ya woh jis ne zameen basne ko banai
    aur us ke beech me nahren nikalen
    aur us ke liye langar banaye
    aur dono samndron me aarh rakhi
    kya Allah ke sath aur khuda hai,
    balke un me aksar ilm nahi rakhte

    27.62

     أَمَّن يُجِيبُ ٱلْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ

    وَيَكْشِفُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ

    وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ

    أَءِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ

    قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ

    Ammany-yujeebul mud tarra izaa da'aahu

    wa yakshifussooo'a

    wa yaj'alukum khula faaa'al ardi

    A-ilaahum ma'al laahi

    qaleelam maa tazak karoon

    is he who responds to the distressed one, when he calls him
    and removes the evil?
    And makes you inheritors of the earth?
    is there any god with Allah?
    Little is that you remember.

    ya woh jo lachaar ki sonta hai jab use pukare
    aur door kar deta hai burai 
    aur tumhe zameen ka waris karta hai
    kya Allah ke sath aur kkhuda hai,
    bahot hi kam dheyaan karte ho.

    27.63

     أَمَّن يَهْدِيكُمْ فِى ظُلُمَٰتِ ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ

    وَمَن يُرْسِلُ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ بُشْرًۢا بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦٓ

    ۗ أَءِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ

    تَعَٰلَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

    Ammany-yahdeekum fee zulumaatil barri wal bahri

    wa many yursilu riyaaha bushram baina yadai rahmatih;

    A-ilaahum ma'al laah;

    Ta'aalal laahu 'ammaa yushrikoon

    is he who guides you in the darkness of the land and the sea?
    And who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings before his mercy?
    Is there any god with Allah?
    High exalted is Allah above all that they associate patners.

    ya woh jo tumhe raah dekhata hai andheriyon me khushki aur tari ki
    aur woh ke hawaen bhejta hai, apni rehmat ke age khushkhabri sunaati
    kya Allah ke sath koi aur khuda hai,
    bartar hai Allah un ke shirk se.

    27.64

     أَمَّن يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ

    ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ

    وَمَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ

    أَءِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ

    قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

    Ammany-yabda'ul khalqa

    summa yu'eeduhoo

    wa many-yarzuqukum minas sammaaa'i wal ard;

    A-ilaahum ma'allah;

    qul haatoo burhaanakum in kuntum saadiqeen

    is he who originates creation?
    Then shall repeat it?
    and who provides for you from heaven and earth?
    is there any god with Allah?
    Say: bring forth your proof if you are truthful.

    ya woh jo Khalq ki ibtida farmata hai
    phir use dobarah banaye ga
    aur woh jo tumhe asmano aur zameen se rozi deta hai
    kya Allah ke sath koi aur khuda hai,
    tum farmao ke apni Daleel lao agar tum sache ho.

    27.65

     قُل لَّا يَعْلَمُ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلْغَيْبَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ

    ۚ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ

    Qul laa ya'lamu mman fis samaawaati wal ardil ghaiba illal laah;

    wa maa yash'uroona aiyaana yub'asoon

    Say: “None who is knows in the heavens and the earth the unseen except Allah.”
    Nor can they perceive when they shall be resurrected.

    tum farmao ghaib nahi jante jo koi asmano aur zameen me hain magar Allah
    aur unhen khabar nahi ke kab uthaye jayen ge.

    27.66

     بَلِ ٱدَّٰرَكَ عِلْمُهُمْ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ

    ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّ مِّنْهَا ۖ

    بَلْ هُم مِّنْهَا عَمُونَ

    Balid daaraka 'ilmuhum fil Aakhirah;

    bal hum fee shakkim minhaa

    bal hum minhaa 'amoon

    Nay! Is none accomplished their knowledge of the hereafer,
    nay they are in doubt about it.
    nay! They are in complete are blind about it.

    kya un ke ilm ka silsila akhirat ke jane tak pahonch gaya 
    koi nahi woh us ki taraf se shak me hain
    balke woh us se andhe hain.

    27.67

     وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟

    أَءِذَا كُنَّا تُرَٰبًا وَءَابَآؤُنَآ

    أَئِنَّا لَمُخْرَجُونَ

    Wa qaalal lazeena kafarooo

    'A-izaa kunnaa turaabanw wa aabaaa'unaaa

    A'innaa lamukhrajoon

    and those who disbelieve say:
    when we have become dust and our father?
    shall we really be brought forth?

    aur kafir bole
    kya jab hum aur hamare baap dada mitti ho jayen ge
    kya hum phir nikale jayen ge.

    27.68

     لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا هَٰذَا نَحْنُ وَءَابَآؤُنَا مِن قَبْلُ

    إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

    Laqad wu'idnaa haazaa nahnu wa aabaaa'unaa min qablu

    in haazaaa illaaa asaateerul awwaleen

    indeed we were promised this we and our forfathers before.
    Verily this is nothing but tales of the ancients.

    beshak is ka wada diya gaya hum ko aur hum se pehle hamare baap dadaon ko
    beshak yeh to nahi magar aglon ki kahaniyan.

    27.69

     قُلْ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ

    فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

    Qul seeroo fil ardi

    fanzuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul mujremeen

    Say: to them travel in the land,
    and see how has been the end of the crimnals! 

    tum farmao zameen me chal kar
    dekho, kaisa huwa anjam mujrimon ka.

    27.70

     وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ

    وَلَا تَكُن فِى ضَيْقٍ مِّمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ

    Wa laa tahzan 'alaihim

    wa laa takun fee daiqim mimmaa yamkuroon

    and you not grieve over them
    nor be in distress because of what they plot.

    aur tum un par gham na khao
    aur un ke makr (fareb) se dil tang na ho.

    27.71

     وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

    Wa yaqooloona mataa haazal wa'du in kuntum saadiqeen

    and they say: “when this promise will be fulfiled if you are truthful”. 

    aur kahte hain kab aaye ga yeh wada agar tum sache ho.

    27.72

     قُلْ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ رَدِفَ لَكُم بَعْضُ ٱلَّذِى تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ

    Qul 'asaaa any-yakoona radifa lakum ba'dul lazee tasta'jiloon

    say: “perhaps that which some of you haste on that may be close behind to you”.

    tum farmao qareeb hai ke tumahre peeche aa lagi ho baaz woh cheez jis ki tum jaldi macha rahe ho.

    27.73

     وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ

    وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ

    Wa innna Rabbaka lazoo fadlin 'alan naasi

    wa laakina aksarahum laa yashkuroon

    and verily your Raub is full of grace for mankind
    yet but most of them do not give thanks.

    aur beshak tera rab fazl wala hai admion par
    lekin aksar aadmi haq nahi mante.

    27.74

     وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَعْلَمُ

    مَا  تُكِنُّ  صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ

    Wa inna Rabbaka la ya'lamu

    maa tukinnu sudooruhum wa maa yu'linoon

    and verily your Raub knows
    what their breasts conceal and what they reveal.

    aur beshak tumhara rab jaanta hai
    jo un ke seeno me chhupi hai aur jo woh zahir karte hain.

    27.75

    وَمَا مِنْ غَآئِبَةٍ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ

    إِلَّا فِى كِتَٰبٍ مُّبِينٍ

    Wa maa min ghaaa'ibatin fis samaaa'i wal ardi

    illaa fee kitaabimm mubeen

    and there is nothing from hidden in the heaven and the earth
    but is in a clear scripture.

    aur jitne ghaib hain asmano aur zameen
    ke sab ek batane wali kitaab me hain.

    27.76

     إِنَّ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ يَقُصُّ عَلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

    أَكْثَرَ ٱلَّذِى هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ

    Inna haazal Qur-aana yaqussu 'alaa Baneee israaa'eela

    aksaral lazee hum feehi yakhtalifoon

    verily this Qur’an narrates to the children of Israel
    most of that in which they differ.

    beshak yeh quran zikar farmata hai bani Israel se
    aksar woh baaten jis me woh ikhtilaaf karte hain.

    27.77

     وَإِنَّهُۥ لَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

    Wa innahoo lahudanw wa rahmatul lilmu'mineen

    and verily it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers.

    aur beshak woh hadaayat aur rehmat hai musalmanon ke liye.

    27.78

     إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِى بَيْنَهُم بِحُكْمِهِۦ ۚ

    وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

    Inna Rabbaka yaqdee bainahum bihukmih;

    wa Huwal 'Azeezul 'Aleem

    verily your Raub will decide between them by his judgement
    and he is the all-mighty The Omniscient.

    beshak tumhara rab un ke aapas me faisla farmata hai apne hukum se
    aur wohi hai izzat wala ilm wala.

    27.79

     فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ

    إِنَّكَ عَلَى ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلْمُبِينِ

    Fatawakkal 'alal laahi

    innaka 'alal haqqil mubeen

    So put your trust in Allah.
    Surely you are on the manifest truth.

    to tum Allah par bharosa karo,
    beshak tum roshan haq par ho.

    27.80

     إِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ

    وَلَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ

    إِذَا وَلَّوْا۟ مُدْبِرِينَ

    Innaka laa tusmi'ul mawtaa

    wa laa tusmi'us summad du'aaa

    izaa wallaw mudbireen

    verily you can not make hear the dead,
    you can not make hear the deaf the call,
    when they flee turning their backs.

    beshak tumahre sunaye nahi sunte murde
    aur na tumahre sunaye behre pukaar sunen
    jab phiren peeth de kar.

    27.81

     وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَٰدِى ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَٰلَتِهِمْ ۖ

    إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا

    فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ

    Wa maaa anta bihaadil 'umyi 'an dalaalatihim

    in tusmi'u illaa mai yu'minu bi aayaatinaa

    fahum muslimoon

    and nor can you lead the blind out of their error.
    You can not make to hear except those who believe in our signs
    and they have submitted as Muslims.

    aur andhon ko gumraahi se tum hidaayat karne wale nahi,
    tumahre sunaye to wohi sunte hain jo hamari ayaton par imaan laate hain
    aur woh musalman hain.

    27.82

     وَإِذَا وَقَعَ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ

    أَخْرَجْنَا لَهُمْ دَآبَّةً مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ تُكَلِّمُهُمْ

    أَنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا لَا يُوقِنُونَ

    Wa izaa waqa'al qawhu 'alaihim

    akhrajnaa lahum daabbatam minal ardi tukal limuhum

    annan naasa kaanoo bi aayaatinaa laa yooqinoon

    and when the word is fulfilled against them,
    we shall bring out for them a beast from the earth, which will speak to them
    because mankind not believed with certain in our signs .

    aur jab baat un par aa parhe gi
    hum zameen se un ke liye ek chaupaya nikalen ge jo logon se kalaam kere ga
    is liye ke log hamari ayaton par imaan na laate the.

    27.83

     وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ فَوْجًا

    مِّمَّن يُكَذِّبُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا

     فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ

    Wa Yawma nahshuru min kulli ummmatin fawjam

    mim many-yukazzibu bi Aayaatinaa fahum yooza'oon

     

    and remember the day when we shall gather every nation a troop
    of those who denied our signs
    and they shall be driven.

    aur jis din hum uthayen ge har giroh me se ek faoj
    jo hamari ayaton ko jutlati hai
    to wog roke jayen ge ke pichle un se aa milen.

    27.84

     حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُو

    قَالَ أَكَذَّبْتُم بِـَٔايَٰتِى

    وَلَمْ تُحِيطُوا۟ بِهَا عِلْمًا

    أَمَّاذَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

    Hattaaa izaa jaaa'oo

    qaala Akazzabtum bi Aayaatee

    wa lam tuheetoo bihaa 'ilman

    ammaazaa kuntum ta'maloon

    till when they come,
    Allah will say: did you, deny my signs
    proofs where as not you comprehended them by knowledge?
    Or what you used to do?

    yahan tak ke jab sab haazir holen ge
    farmaye ga kya tum ne meri ayaten jhutlayen
    halaank tumhara ilm un tak na pohuncha tha
    ya kya kaam karte the.

    27.85

    وَوَقَعَ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِم بِمَا ظَلَمُوا۟

    فَهُمْ لَا يَنطِقُونَ

    Wa waqa'al qawlu 'alaihim bimaa zalamoo

    fahum laa yantiqoon

    and the word will be fulfilled against them because they have done wrong.
    And they not will be able to speak.

    aur baat parh chuki un par un ke zolm ke sabab
    to woh ab kuch nahi bolte.

    27.86

    أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟

    أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ لِيَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ

    وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا ۚ

    إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ

    Alam yaraw

    annaa ja'alnal laila li yaskunoo feehi

    wannahaara mubsiraa;

    inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil liqaw miny-yu'minoon

    did they not see?
    That we have made the night for them to rest therein
    and the day sight-giving.
    Verily in this are signs auyaats for people who believe.

    kya unhon ne na dekha
    ke hum ne raat banai ke us me aaraam karen
    aur din ko banaya sujhane wala,
    beshak is me zaroor nishanen hain un logon ke liye ke imaan rakhte hain.

    27.87

    وَيَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ

    فَفَزِعَ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ

    وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ

    إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ

    وَكُلٌّ أَتَوْهُ دَٰخِرِينَ

    Wa Yawma yunfakhu fis Soori

    fafazi'a man fis samaawaati

    wa man fil ardi

    illaa man shaaa'al laah;

    wa kullun atawhu daakhireen

    and remember the day on which the trumpet will be blown
    and will be terrified all who are in the heavens
    and who are on the earth
    except him whom wills Allah
    and all shall come to him humbled.

    aur jis din phonkaa jaye ga soor
    to ghabra jayen ge jitne asmano me hain
    aur jitne zameen me hain
    magar jise khuda chahe
    aur sab is ke huzoor haazir howe aajzi karte.

    27.88

    وَتَرَى ٱلْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً

    وَهِىَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ ٱلسَّحَابِ ۚ

    صُنْعَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ

    ۚ إِنَّهُۥ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ

    Wa taral jibaala tahsabuhaa jaamidatanw

    wa hiya tamurru marras sahaab;

    sun'al laahil lazeee atqana kulla shain';

    innahoo khabeerum bimaa taf'aloon

    and you will see the mountains and think them firm
    but they shall pass away as the passing away of the clouds
    the work of Allah who perfected every thing.
    Verily he is well-acquainted with all what you do.

    aur to dekhe ga paharhon ko khayaal kere ga ke woh jame howe hain
    aur woh chalte hon ge baadal ki chaal
    yeh kaam hai Allah ka jis ne hikmat se banai har cheez,
    beshak use khabar hai tumahre kamon ki.

    27.89

     مَن جَآءَ بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ

    فَلَهُۥ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهَا

    وَهُم مِّن فَزَعٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ ءَامِنُونَ

    Man jaaa'a bilhasanati

    falahoo khairum minhaa

    wa hum min faza'iny Yawma'izin aaminoon

    whoever brings a good deed
    him will have better that it
    and they will be safe from the terror on that day.

    jo neki laaye
    is ke liye is se behtar sila hai
    aur un ko is din ki ghabrahat se Amaan hai.

    27.90

     وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ

    فَكُبَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِى ٱلنَّارِ

    هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

    Wa man jaaa'a bissai yi'ati

    fakubbat wujoohuhum fin Naari

    hal tujzawna illaa maa kuntum ta'maloon

    and whoever brings an evil deed
    they will be cast down on their faces in the fire.
    Are you being recompensed anything except what you used to do.

    aur jo badi laaye
    to un ke munh aondhe gaye aag me
    tumhe kya badla mile ga magar usi ka jo karte the.

    27.91

     إِنَّمَآ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ

    رَبَّ هَٰذِهِ ٱلْبَلْدَةِ ٱلَّذِى حَرَّمَهَا

    وَلَهُۥ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ ۖ

    وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ

    Innamaaa umirtu an a'buda

    Rabba haazihil baldatil lazee harramahaa

    wa lahoo kullu shai'inw

    wa umirtu an akoona minal muslimeen

    indeed I have been commanded to worship
    the Raub of this city who has sanctified it
    and to whom every thing
    and I have been commanded to be from among the Muslims.

    mujhe to yahi hukum huwa hai ke pujoun
    is shehar ke rab ko jis ne use hurmat wala kya hai
    aur sab kuch usi ka hai,
    aur mujhe hukum huwa hai ke farma bardaroon me hun.

    27.92

    وَأَنْ أَتْلُوَا۟ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ ۖ

    فَمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ

    فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِى لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ

    وَمَن ضَلَّ

    فَقُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُنذِرِينَ

    Wa an atluwal Qur-aana

    famanih tadaa

    fa innnamaa yahtadee linafsihee

    wa man dalla

    faqul innamaaa ana minal munzireen

    and to recite the Qur’an
    so whoever receives guidance
    then verily he receives it for the good of his ownself
    and whosever goes astray;
    say to him: “verily I am one of the warrners”.

    aur yeh ke quran ki tilawat karoon
    to jis ne raah payi
    to apne hi bhale ko raah payi
    aur jo behke
    to farma do ke may to yahi dar sunane wala hon.

    27.93

    وَقُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

    سَيُرِيكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ

    فَتَعْرِفُونَهَا ۚ

    وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

    Wa qulil hamdu lillaahi

    sa yureekum Aayaatihee

    fata'ri foonahaa;

    wa maa Rabbuka bighaaflin 'ammaa ta'maloon

    and say: All praises is to Allah
    he will show you his signs
    and you shall recognize them
    and your Raub is not unware of what you do.

    aur farmao ke sab khoobiyan Allah ke liye
    anqareeb woh tumhe apni nishanain dikhaye ga
    to inhen pehchan lo ge
    aur ae mehboob! tumhara rab ghaafil nahi,tumahre aamaal se.
