    31.1

     الٓ‍‍مٓ

    Alif-Laam-Meem

    Alif-Laam-Meem

    aleef-laam-meem.

    31.2

    تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ

    Tilka Aayaatul Kitaabil Hakeem

    These are the Auyaats of the Wise Scripture the Qur’an.

    yeh hikmat wali kitaab ki ayaten hain.

    31.3

    هُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِّ‍‍لْمُحْسِنِينَ

    Hudanw wa rahmatal lilmuhsineen

    A guide and a Mercy for the good-doers.

    hidaayat aur rahmat hai nekon ke liye.

    31.4

    ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ

    وَهُم بِ‍‍ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ

    Allazeena yuqeemoonas Salaata wa yu'toonaz Zakaata

    wa hum bil Aakhirati hum yooqinoon

    Those who Offer the prayer and give charity
    and they have faith in the Hereafter with certainly.

    woh jo namaz qaim rakhen aur zakat den
    aur akhirat par yaqeen layen.

    31.5

    أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ

    ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ

    Ulaaa'ika 'alaa hudam mir Rabbihim

    wa ulaaa'ika humul muflihoon

    Such are on guidance from their Raub
    and such they are the successful.

    wohi apne rab ki hidaayat par hain
    aur unhen ka kaam bana.

    31.6

    وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشْتَرِى لَهْوَ ٱلْحَدِيثِ

    لِ‍‍يُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ

    وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا

    ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَ‍‍هُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ

    Wa minan naasi mai-yashtaree lahuwal hadeesi

    li yudilla 'an sabeelil laahi bighairi 'ilminw

    wa yattakhizahaa huzuwaa;

    ulaaa'ika lahum 'azaabum muheen

    and of mankind is he who purchases idle talks
    to mislead from the way of Allah without knowledge
    and takes it by way of a mockery
    such for there will be humiliating torment.

    aur kuch log kheail ki baatein kharidte hain
    ke Allah ki raah se behka den be samjhe
    aur use hansi bana len,
    un ke liye zillat ka azaab hai.

    31.7

    وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْ‍‍هِ ءَايَٰتُنَا وَلَّىٰ مُسْتَكْبِرًا

    كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْ‍‍هَا

    كَأَنَّ فِىٓ أُذُنَيْهِ وَقْرًا ۖ

    فَ‍بَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

    Wa izaa tutlaa 'alayhi Aayaatunaa wallaa mustakbiran

    ka al lam yasma'haa

    ka anna feee uzunwihi waqran

    fabash shirho bi'azaabin aleem

    and when our Auyaats are recited to such one he turns away in pride
    as if he not heard them
    as if there were deafness in his ears
    so announce to him a painful torment.

    aur jab us par hamari ayaten parhi jayen to takabbur karta huwa phire
    jaise unhon ne suna hi nahi
    jaise is ke kaanon me tent hai
    to use dard naak azaab ka Musda do.

    31.8

    إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتُ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

    Innal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati lahum Janaatun Na'eem

    verily those who believe and do righteous deeds for them are Gardens of Delight.

    beshak jo imaan laaye aur ache kaam kiye un ke liye chain ke baagh hain.

    31.9

    خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا

    ۖ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقًّا

    ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ

    Khaalideena feeha

    wa'dal laahi haqqaa;

    wa Huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem

    to abide therein forever
    it is a promise of Allah in truth
    and he is the All-Mighty the All-Wise.

    hamesha us me rahen 
    Allah ka sacha wada 
    aur woh galib hikmat wala hai

    31.10

    خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ بِ‍‍غَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَ‍‍هَا ۖ

    وَأَلْقَىٰ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ رَوَٰسِىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ

    وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍ

    ۚ وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً

    فَ‍‍أَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيمٍ

    Khalaqas samaawaati bi ghairi 'amadin tarawnahaa
    wa alqaa fil ardi rawaasiya an tameeda bikum
    wa bassa feehaa min kulli daaabbah;
    wa anzalnaa minas samaaa'i maaa'an
    fa ambatnaa feeha min kulli zawjin kareem

    He has created the heavens without any pillars that you can see
    and set on the earth firm mountains lest it should shake with you
    and he scattered therein of all animals
    and we sent down water rain from the sky
    and we caused plants of every goodly kind to grow therein.

    us ne aasman banaye be aise sotonon ke jo tumhe nazar ayen
    aur zameen me daale langar ke tumhe le kar na kaanpe
    aur us me har qisam ke janwar phailaaye,
    aur ham ne aasman se pani utaara
    to zameen me har nafees jorha ugaya.

    31.11

    هَٰذَا خَلْقُ ٱللَّهِ

    فَ‍‍أَرُونِ‍‍ى مَاذَا خَلَقَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِ‍‍هِۦ ۚ

    بَلِ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ

    Haazaa khalqul laahi

    fa aroonee maazaa khalaqal lazeena min doonih;

    baliz zaalimoona fee dalalim Mubeen

    this is the creation of Allah
    so show me what is there those have created others besides him,
    Nay the wrong-doers are in plain error.

    yeh to Allah ka banaya huwa hai
    mujhe woh dikhao jo us ke siwa auron ne banaya
    balke zalim khuli gumraahi me hain.

    31.12

    وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا لُقْمَٰنَ ٱلْحِكْمَةَ

    أَنِ ٱشْكُرْ لِلَّهِ

    ۚ وَمَن يَشْكُرْ فَ‍‍إِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ

    وَمَن كَفَرَ فَ‍‍إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌ

    Wa laqad aatainaa Luqmaanal hikmata

    anishkur lillaah;

    wa many yashkur fa innamaa yashkuru linafsihee

    wa man kafara fa innal laaha Ghaniyyun Hameed.

    and indeed we bestowed upon Luqman the wisdom
    saying give thanks to Allah
    and whoever gives thanks only he gives thanks for his ownself
    and whoever is ungrateful then verily Allah is All-Rich Worthy of All-Praise.

    aur beshak ham ne luqman ko hikmat ataa farmai
    ke Allah ka shokar kar
    aur jo shokar kere woh apne bhalle ko shukar karta hai
    aur jo na shukri kere to beshak Allah be parwah hai sab khoobiyan saraha.

    31.13

    وَإِذْ قَالَ لُقْمَٰنُ لِٱبْنِهِۦ

    وَهُوَ يَعِظُهُۥ

    يَٰبُنَىَّ لَا تُشْرِكْ بِ‍‍ٱللَّهِ ۖ

    إِنَّ ٱلشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيمٌ

    Wa iz qaala luqmaanu libnihee

    wa huwa ya'izuhoo

    ya bunaiya laa tushrik billaah

    innash shirka lazulmun 'azeem

    and remember when said Luqman to his son
    when he was advising him,
    O my son! Join not in worship others with Allah,
    verily joining others in worship with Allah is a wrong indeed great.

    aur yaad karo jab luqman ne apne bete se kaha
    aur woh naseehat karta tha
    ae mere bete Allah ka kisi ko shareek na karna,
    beshak shirk barha zulm hai.

    31.14

    وَوَصَّيْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ بِ‍‍وَٰلِدَيْهِ

    حَمَلَتْ‍‍هُ أُمُّهُۥ وَهْنًا عَلَىٰ وَهْنٍ

    وَفِصَٰلُهُۥ فِى عَامَيْنِ أَنِ ٱشْكُرْ لِى

    وَلِوَٰلِدَيْكَ إِلَىَّ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

    Wa wassainal insaana bi waalidaihi

    hamalat hu ummuhoo wahnan 'alaa wahninw

    wa fisaaluhoo fee 'aamaini anishkur lee

    wa liwaalidaika ilaiyal maseer

    and we have encoined on man to his parents.
    His mother bore him in weakness and harship upon weakness and hardship
    and his weaning is in two years. Give thanks to me
    and to your parents unto me is the final destination.

    aur hum ne aadmi ko us ke maa baap ke bare me takeed farmai
    us ki maa ne use pait me rakha kamzoree par kamzoree jhilta hui
    aur us ka doodh chhotna do baras me hai yeh ke haq maan mera
    aur apne maa baap ka aakhir mujhi tak aana hai.

    31.15

    وَإِن جَٰهَدَاكَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تُشْرِكَ بِى

    مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ

    فَ‍‍لَا تُطِعْ‍‍هُمَا ۖ

    وَصَاحِبْ‍‍هُمَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفًا ۖ

    وَٱتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَىَّ

    ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ

    فَ‍‍أُنَبِّئُ‍‍كُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

    Wa in jaahadaaka 'alaaa an tushrika bee

    maa laisa laka bihee 'ilmun

    falaa tuti'humaa

    wa saahib humaa fid dunyaa ma'roofanw

    wattabi' sabeela man anaaba ilayy;

    summa ilaiya marji'ukum

    fa unabbi'ukum bimaa kuntum ta'maloon

    but if they both strive against you on to make you join in worship with me others
    that of it you have not knowledge
    then obey them not
    but if be have with them in the world kindly
    and follow the way of him who turns to me in repentance and in obedience
    Then to me will be your return
    and I shall tell you of what you used to do.

    aur agar woh dono tujh se koshish karen ke mera shareek thehraye
    aisi cheez ko jis ka tujhe ilm nahi
    to un ka kehna na maan
    aur duniya me achchi tarah un ka sath de
    aur us ki raah chal jo meri taraf rujoo laya
    phir meri hi taraf tumhe phir aana hai
    to may bta dunga jo tum karte the.

    31.16

    يَٰبُنَىَّ إِنَّهَآ إِن تَكُ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ

    فَ‍‍تَكُن فِى صَخْرَةٍ

    أَوْ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ

    أَوْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ

    يَأْتِ بِهَا ٱللَّهُ ۚ

    إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌ

    Ya bunaiya innahaaa in taku misqaala habbatim min khardalin

    fatakun fee sakhratin

    aw fis samaawaati

    aw fil ardi

    yaati bihal laah;

    innal laaha lateefun Khabeer

    O my son! Indeed it if it be equal to the weight of a grain of mustand seed,
    and though it be in a rock
    or in the heavens
    or in the earth
    Allah will bring it forth.
    Verily Allah is The One Who is Extremely Suptle The All Aware.

    ae mere bete buraiee agar rai ke dana barabar ho
    phir woh pathar ki chattaan me ho
    ya aasman me
    ya zameen me
    kahin ho Allah use le aaye ga
    beshak Allah har bareki ka janne wala khabardaar hai.

    31.17

    يَٰبُنَىَّ أَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ

    وَأْمُرْ بِ‍‍ٱلْمَعْرُوفِ

    وَٱنْهَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ

    وَٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَصَابَكَ ۖ

    إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ ٱلْأُمُورِ

    Yaa bunaiya aqimis-Salaata

    waamur bilma'roofi

    wanha 'anil munkari

    wasbir 'alaa maaa asaabaka

    inna zaalika min 'azmil umoor

    O my Son! Offer prayer
    and command good
    and forbid frome evil,
    and bear with patience on whatever befails you.
    verily these are some of the important commandments.

    ae mere bete! namaz barpaa rakh
    aur achi baat ka hukum de
    aur bori baat se mana kar
    aur jo iftaad tujh par parhe us par sabr kar,
    beshak yeh himmat ke kaam hain.

    31.18

    وَلَا تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِ‍‍لنَّاسِ

    وَلَا تَمْشِ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا ۖ

    إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍ

    Wa laa tusa'-'ir khaddaka linnaasi

    wa laa tamshi fil ardi maarahan

    innal laaha laa yuhibbu kulla mukhtaalin fakhoor

    and not turn your face away cheek from men with pride
    nor walk in incolence through the earth.
    verily Allah likes not each arrogant boaster.

    aur kisi se baat karne me apna khasara kaj na kar
    aur zameen me itrata na chal,
    beshak Allah ko nahi bhaata koi itrata fakhr karta.

    31.19

    وَٱقْصِدْ فِى مَشْيِكَ

    وَٱغْضُضْ مِن صَوْتِكَ

    ۚ إِنَّ أَنكَرَ ٱلْأَصْوَٰتِ لَ‍‍صَوْتُ ٱلْحَمِيرِ

    Waqsid fee mashyika

    waghdud min sawtik;

    inna ankaral aswaati lasawtul hameer 

    and be moderate in your walking
    and lower of your voice.
    Verily the harshest of all voices is indeed the voice saying of the donkey.

    aur miyana chaal chal
    aur apni aawaz kuch past kar
    beshak sab awazon me buri aawaz, gadhe ki aawaz 

    31.20

    أَلَمْ تَرَوْا۟

    أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَ‍‍كُم

    مَّا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ

    وَأَسْبَغَ عَلَيْ‍‍كُمْ نِعَمَهُۥ ظَٰهِرَةً وَبَاطِنَةً ۗ

    وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُجَٰدِلُ فِى ٱللَّهِ

    بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَلَا هُدًى وَلَا كِتَٰبٍ مُّنِيرٍ

     

    Alam taraw

    annal laaha sakhkhara lakum

    maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardi

    wa asbagha 'alaikum ni'amahoo zaahiratanw wa baatinah;

    wa minan naasi many yujaadilu fil laahi

    bighayri 'ilminw wa laa hudanw wa laa Kitaabim muneer

    Do you not see?
    That Allah has subjected for you
    whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth,
    and has completed you his graces upon both apparent seen and hidden.
    Yet of mankind is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge nor guidance nor a scripture giving light.

    kya tum ne na dekha
    ke Allah ne tumahre liye kaam me lagaye
    jo kuch asmano aur zameen me hain
    aur tumhe bharpoor den apni naematen zahir aur chhupi
    aur baaze aadmi Allah ke baare me jhagarte hain yun ke na ilm na aqal na koi raushan kitaab.

    31.21

    وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَ‍‍هُمُ

    ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ

    قَالُوا۟ بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ

    مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ ءَابَآءَنَآ ۚ

    أَوَلَوْ كَانَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ يَدْعُو هُمْ  إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

    Wa izaa qeela lahum

    ut-tabi'oo maaa anzalal laahu

    qaaloo bal nattabi'u

    maa wajadnaa 'alaihi aabaaa'anaa;

    Awalaw kaanash Shaitaanu yad'oohum ilaa 'azaabis sa'eer

    and when it is said to them
    follow that which Allah sent down.
    They say: “Nay we shall follow
    that which we found on our fathers 
    Even if was satan inviting them to torment of the fire?

    aur jab un se kaha jaye

    us ki pairwi karo jo Allah ne utaara

    to kehte hain balke ham to us ki pairwi karen ge

    jis par ham ne apne baap dada ko paaya

    kya agarche shaitan un ko azaab dozakh ki taraf bulaataa ho.

    31.22

    وَمَن يُسْلِمْ وَجْهَهُۥٓ  إِلَى  ٱللَّهِ

    وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ

    فَ‍‍قَدِ ٱسْتَمْسَكَ بِ‍‍ٱلْعُرْوَةِ ٱلْوُثْقَىٰ ۗ

    وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْأُمُورِ

    Wa many yuslim wajha hooo ilal laahi

    wa huwa muhsinun

    faqadistamsaka bil'ur watil wusqaa;

    wa ilal laahi 'aaqibatul umoor

    and whoever submits his face to Allah
    while he is good doer,
    then indeed he has grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold
    and to Allah return all matters.

    to jo apna munh Allah ki taraf jhuka day
    aur ho nekokaar
    to beshak us ne mazboot girah thamme,
    aur Allah hi ki taraf hai sab kamon ki intihaa.

    31.23

    وَمَن كَفَرَ فَلَا يَحْزُن‍‍كَ كُفْرُهُۥٓ ۚ

    إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُ‍‍هُمْ

    فَ‍‍نُنَبِّئُ‍‍هُم بِ‍‍مَا عَمِلُوٓا۟ ۚ

    إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِ‍‍ذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

    Wa man kafara falaa yahzunka kufruh;

    ilainaa marji'uhum

    fanunabbi'uhum bimaa 'amiloo;

    innal laaha 'aleemum bizaatis sudoor

    and whoever disbelieved let not his disbelief grieve you
    to us is their return
    and we shall inform them what they did.
    Verily Allah is the Omniscient of what is in the breasts of men.

    aur jo kufar kere to tum us ke kufar se gham na khao,
    unhen hamari hi taraf phirna hai
    hum unhen bta den ge jo karte the
    beshak Allah dilon ki baat jaanta hai.

    31.24

    نُمَتِّعُ‍‍هُمْ قَلِيلًا

    ثُمَّ نَضْطَرُّهُمْ  إِلَىٰ  عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍ

    Numatti'uhum qaleelan

    summa nadtarruhum ilaa 'azaabin ghaleez

    we let them enjoy for a little while,
    then we shall oblige them to enter a great torment.

    hum unhen kuch baratne den ge
    phir unhen be bas kar ke sakht azaab ki taraf le jayen ge.

    31.25

    وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَ‍‍هُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ

    لَ‍‍يَقُولُ‍‍نَّ ٱللَّهُ

    ۚ قُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ

    بَلْ  أَكْثَرُهُمْ   لَا  يَعْلَمُونَ

     

    Wa la'in sa altahum man khalaqas samaawaati wal arda

    la yaqoolunnal laah;

    qulil hamdu lillaah;

    bal aksaruhum laa ya'lamoon

    and if you ask them “who has created the heavens and the earth
    they will certainly say: “ Allah
    Say: “aal the praises and thanks are to Allah
    But! Most of them not know.

    aur agar tum un se pucho kis ne banaye aasman aur zameen
    to zaroor kahen ge Allah ne,
    tum farmao sab khoobiyan Allah ko
    balke un me aksar jante nahi.

    31.26

    لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ

    إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ٱلْحَمِيدُ

    Lilaahi ma fis samaa waati wal ard;

    innal laaha Huwal Ghaniyyul Hameed

    To Allah belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth.
    verily Allah he is The Richest One Worthy of All prais.

    Allah hi ka hai jo kuch asmano aur zameen me hai
    beshak Allah hi be niyaz hai sab khoobiyon saraha.

    31.27

    وَلَوْ أَنَّمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِن شَجَرَةٍ أَقْلَٰمٌ

    وَٱلْبَحْرُ يَمُدُّهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ سَبْعَةُ أَبْحُرٍ

    مَّا نَفِدَتْ كَلِمَٰتُ ٱللَّهِ

    ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ

    Wa law annamaa fil ardi min shajaratin aqlaamunw

    wal bahru yamudduhoo mim ba'dihee sab'atu abhurim

    maa nafidat Kalimaatul laah

    innal laaha 'azeezun Hakeem

    and if all of trees on the earth were pens
    and the sea were ink to add to it, with seven seas behind it,
    yet, the words of Allah would not be exhausted.
    Verily Allah The Most Great One The Ultimately Wise One.

    aur agar zameen me jitne darakht hain sab qalam ho jayen
    aur samandar us ki siyahi ho is ke peeche saat samandar
    to Allah ki baatein khatam na hon gi
    beshak Allah izzat o hikmat wala hai.

    31.28

    مَّا خَلْقُكُمْ وَلَا بَعْثُكُمْ إِلَّا كَ‍‍نَفْسٍ وَٰحِدَةٍ

    ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌۢ بَصِيرٌ

    Maa khalqukum wa laa ba'sukum illaa kanafsinw-waa hidah;

    innal laaha Samee'um Baseer

    is not your creation not your resurrection but as a single person.
    Verily Allah The All Hearing One The Seeing One.

    tum sab ka paida karna aur qayamat me uthana aisa hi hai jaisa ek jaan ka
    beshak Allah sunta dekhta hai.

    31.29

    أَلَمْ تَرَ

    أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ

    وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ

    وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ

    كُلٌّ يَجْرِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى

    وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

    Alam tara

    annal laaha yoolijul laila fin nahaari

    wa yoolijun nahaara fil laili

    wa sakhkharash shamsa wal qamara

    kulluny yajreee ilaaa ajalim musammanw

    wa annal laaha bimaa ta'malona Khabeer

    do you not see?
    That Allah merges the night into the day
    and merges the day into the night,
    and has subjected the sun and the moon.
    Each running for term an appointed
    and that Allah is The All aware of all what you do.

    ae sunene wale kya to ne na dekha
    ke Allah raat lata hai din ke hisse me
    aur din karta hai raat ke hisse me
    aur us ne Sooraj aur chand kaam me lagaye
    har ek ek muqarrar miyaad tak chalta hai
    aur yeh ke Allah tumahre kamon se khabardaar hai.

    31.30

    ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ

    وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ‍‍هِ ٱلْبَٰطِلُ

    وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْكَبِيرُ

    Zaalika bi annal laaha Huwal Haqqu

    wa anna maa yad'oona min doonihil baatilu

    wa annal laaha Huwal 'Aliyyul Kabeer

    that is because Allah he is the truth
    and that which they invoke besides him is the falsehood
    and that Allah he The Most High The Most Truly Great One.

    yeh us liye ke Allah hi haq hai
    aur us ke siwa jin ko pujte hain sab baatil hain
    aur us liye ke Allah hi buland badayi wala hai.

    31.31

    أَلَمْ تَرَ

    أَنَّ ٱلْفُلْكَ تَجْرِى فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ بِنِعْمَتِ ٱللَّهِ

    لِ‍‍يُرِيَكُم مِّنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ ۚ

    إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّ‍‍كُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ

    Alam tara

    annal fulka tajree fil bahri bini'matil laahi

    li yuriyakum min Aayaatih;

    inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil likulli sabbaarin shakoor

    do you not see?
    That the ships sail through the sea by Allah’s the grece
    that he may show you of his signs .
    Verily in this are Auyaat for every patient grateful person.

    kya to ne na dekha
    ke kashti darya me chalti hai, Allah ke fazl se
    taake tumhe woh apni kuch nishanniyan dukhae
    beshak us me nishaniyan hain har barhe sabr karne wale shukar guzar ko.

    31.32

    وَإِذَا غَشِيَ‍‍هُم مَّوْجٌ كَٱلظُّلَلِ

    دَعَوُا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ

    فَ‍‍لَمَّا نَجَّىٰ‍‍هُمْ إِلَى ٱلْبَرِّ

    فَمِنْ‍‍هُم مُّقْتَصِدٌ

    ۚ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِلَّا كُلُّ خَتَّارٍ كَفُورٍ

    Wa izaa ghashiyahum mawjun kazzulali

    da'a-wul laaha mukhliseena lahud deena

    fa lammaa najjaahum ilal barri

    faminhum muqtasid;

    wa maa yajhadu bi Aayaatinaa illaa kullu khattaarin kafoor

    and when a wave covers them like shades,
    they invoke Allah with sincerity to him in faith 
    but when he brings them safe to land
    there are among them those that stop in the middle
    but none denies our auyaat except every traitor ungrateful.

    aur jab un par aa padtee hai koi maoj pahoron ki tarah
    to Allah ko pukarte hain nire usi par aqeedah rakhte
    phir jab unhen khushki ki taraf bacha lata hai
    to un me koi aitdaal par rahta hai
    aur hamari ayaton ka inkaar na kere ga magar har barha be wafa na shukara.

    31.33

    يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ

    وَٱخْشَوْا۟ يَوْمًا

    لَّا يَجْزِى وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِهِۦ

    وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَن وَالِدِهِۦ شَيْـًٔا ۚ

    إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ

    ۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّ‍‍كُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا

    وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّ‍‍كُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْغَرُورُ

    Yaaa ayyuhan naasuttaqoo Rabbakum

    wakhshaw Yawmal

    laa yajzee waalidun 'anw waladihee

    wa laa mawloodun huwa jaazin 'anw waalidihee shai'aa;

    innaa wa'dal laahi haqqun

    falaa taghurran nakumul hayaatud dunyaa

    wa laa yaghur rannakum billaahil gharoon

    O mankind! Be afraid and dutiful beware to your Raub
    and fear a day
    when not father can avail aught for his son,
    nor a son avail aught for his father he can anything.
    Verily the promise of Allah is true
    let not deceive you the life the worldly
    nor let the chief deceiver satan deceive you about Allah.

    ae logo! apne rab se daro
    aur us din ka khauf karo
    jis me koi baap bacha ke kaam na aaye ga,
    aur na koi kaami bacha apne baap ko kuch nafa de
    beshak Allah ka wada sacha hai
    to hargiz tumhe dhoka na de duniya ki zindagi
    aur hargiz tumhe Allah ke ilm par dhoka na de woh barha farebi

    31.34

    إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عِندَهُۥ عِلْمُ ٱلسَّاعَةِ

    وَيُنَزِّلُ ٱلْغَيْثَ

    وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلْأَرْحَامِ

    ۖ وَمَا تَدْرِى نَفْسٌ مَّاذَا تَكْسِبُ غَدًا ۖ

    وَمَا تَدْرِى نَفْسٌۢ بِأَىِّ أَرْضٍ تَمُوتُ

    ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌۢ

    Innal laaha 'indahoo 'ilmus saa'ati

    wa yunazzilul ghaisa

    wa ya'lamu maa fil arhaami

    wa maa tadree nafsum maazaa takisbu ghadaa;

    wa maa tadree nafsum bi ayyi ardin tamoot;

    innal laaha 'Aleemun Khabeer

    Verily Allah with him is the knowledge of the hour
    and he sends down the rain,
    and knows that which in the wombs,
    and not a soul knows what it will earn tomorrow,
    and not a soul knows in what land it will die.
    Verily Allah The Omniscient The All Aware.

    beshak Allah ke paas hai qayamat ka ilm
    aur utarta hai manh
    aur jaanta hai jo kuch maaon ke pait me hai,
    aur koi jaan nahi janti ke kal kya kamaye gi
    aur koi jaan nahi janti ke kis zameen me maregi,
    beshak Allah janne wala batane wala hai.
