وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِ صَفًّا
Wassaaaffaati saffaa
By those angels ranged in rows.
qasam un ki ke baqaida saf bandhen.
فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ زَجْرًا
Fazzaajiraati zajraa
By those angels who drive the clouds in a good way.
phir un ki ke jhirhak kar chaillayen.
فَٱلتَّٰلِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا
Fattaaliyaati Zikra
By those angels who bring the scripture.
phir un jamaaton ki, ke quran parhen.
إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمْ لَوَٰحِدٌ
Inna Illaahakum la Waahid
Verily your God is indeed One.
beshak tumhara mabood zaroor ek hai.
رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا
وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَشَٰرِقِ
Rabbus samaawaati wal ardi wa maa bainahumaa
wa Rabbul mashaariq
Raub of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them and Raub of every point of the sun’s rising.
إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلْكَوَاكِبِ
Innaa zaiyannas samaaa 'ad dunyaa bizeenatinil kawaakib
Verily we have adormed the near heaven with beauty of the stars.
aur beshak ham ne neeche ke aasman ko taaroon ke singhar se aarasta kya.
وَحِفْظًا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَٰنٍ مَّارِدٍ
Wa hifzam min kulli Shaitaanim maarid
and to guard against every rebellious devil.
aur nigah rakhne ko har shaitan sarkash se.
لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ
وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍ
Laa yassamma 'oona ilal mala il a'alaa
wa yuqzafoona min kulli jaanib
دُحُورًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ وَاصِبٌ
Duhooranw wa lahum 'azaabunw waasib
outcast and there is a constant torment.
unhen bhagane ko aur un ke liye hamesha ka azaab.
إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ ٱلْخَطْفَةَ
فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ
Illaa man khatifal khatfata
fa atba'ahoo shihaabun saaqib
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ
أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَآ ۚ
إِنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٍ لَّازِبٍۭ
Fastaftihim
Ahum ashaddu khalqan am man khalaqnaa;
innaa khalaqnaahum min teenil laazib
بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ
Bal'ajibta wa yaskharoon
Nay! You wondered while they mock.
balke tumhe achanbha aaya aur woh hansi karte hain.
وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ لَا يَذْكُرُونَ
Wa izaa zukkiroo laa yazkuroon
and when they are reminded they pay not remember.
aur samjhaye nahi samajte.
وَإِذَا رَأَوْا۟ ءَايَةً يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ
Wa izaa ra aw Aayatinw yastaskhiroon
and when they see an auyat they mock at it.
aur jab koi nishani dekhte hain thatha karte hain.
وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ
Wa qaalooo in haazaa illaa sihrum mubeen
and they say: “this is nothing but evident magic”.
aur kahte hain yeh to nahi magar khula jadu.
أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَٰمًا
أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
'A-izaa mitnaa wa kunnaa turaabanw wa 'izaaman
'Ainnaa lamab'oosoon
أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ
Awa aabaa'unal awwaloon
and also our fathers of old?
aur kya hamare agle baap dada bhi.
قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنتُمْ دَٰخِرُونَ
Qul na'am wa antum daakhiroon
say: “yes, and you shall then be humilated”.
tum farmao haan yun ke zaleel ho ke.
فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌ وَٰحِدَةٌ
فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
Fa innamaa hiya zajra tunw waahidatun
fa izaa hum yanzuroon
وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ
wa qaaloo yaa wailanaa haazaa Yawmud-Deen
they will say: “woe to us! This is the day of remompense Deen”.
aur kahen ge haae hamari kharabi un se kaha jaye ga yeh insaaf ka din hai.
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
Haazaa Yawmul Faslil lazee kuntum bihee tukaziboon
this is the day of judgement which you used in it to deny.
yeh hai woh faisle ka din jise tum jutlate the.
ٱحْشُرُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ وَأَزْوَٰجَهُمْ
وَمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْبُدُونَ
Uhshurul lazeena zalamoo wa azwaajahum
wa maa kaanoo ya'budoon
مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ
فَٱهْدُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
Min doonil laahi
fahdoohum ilaa siraatil Jaheem
وَقِفُوهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسْـُٔولُونَ
Wa qifoohum innahum mas'ooloon
but stop them. verily they are to be questioned.
aur unhen thehrao un se pochna hai.
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ
Maa lakum laa tanaasaroon
what is the matter with you not you help one another?
tumhe kya huwa ek dusre ki madad kyun nahi karte.
بَلْ هُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ
Bal humul Yawma mustaslimoon
Nay but! They are that day they shall surrender.
balke woh aaj gardan daaley hain.
وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
Wa aqbala ba'duhum 'alaa ba'diny yatasaaa'aloon
and they face some of them to others questioning one another.
aur un me ek ne dusre ki taraf mun kya aapas me puchhte hue.
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ
Qaalooo innakum kuntum taatoonanaa 'anil yameen
they will say: “verily you were coming to us from the right side”.
bole tum hamare daheni taraf se bahkane aate the.
قَالُوا۟ بَل لَّمْ تَكُونُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Qaaloo bal lam takoonoo mu'mineen
they will say: “Nay! You were not believers”.
jawab den ge tum khud hi imaan na rakhte the.
وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَٰنٍۭ ۖ
بَلْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا طَٰغِينَ
Wa maa kaana lanaa 'alaikum min sultaanim
bal kuntum qawman taagheen
فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَآ ۖ
إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَ
Fahaqqa 'alainaa qawlu Rabbinaaa
innaa lazaaa'iqoon
فَأَغْوَيْنَٰكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَٰوِينَ
Fa aghwainaakum innaa kunnaa ghaaween
so we led you astray. Verily we were ourselves astray
to ham ne tumhe gumraah kya ke ham khud gumraah the.
فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ
Fa innahum Yawma'izin fil'azaabi mushtarikoon
then verily that day they will be sharing in the torment.
to us din woh sab ke sab azaab me shareek hain.
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
Innaa kazaalika naf'alu bil mujrimeen
certainly that is how we deal with sinner.
mujrimon ke sath ham aisa hi karte hain.
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوٓا۟ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ
لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ
يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
Innahum kaanooo izaa qeela lahum
laaa ilaaha illal laahu
yastakbiroon
وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوٓا۟ ءَالِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍ مَّجْنُونٍۭ
Wa yaqooloona a'innaa lataarikooo aalihatinaa lishaa'irim majnoon
and they say: “are we going to abandon our gods for the sake of a mad poet?”
aur kahte the kya ham apne khudaon ko chorh den ek deewane shayar ke kahne se.
بَلْ جَآءَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
bal jaaa'a bilhaqqi wa saddaqal mursaleen
Nay! He has come with the truth and he confirmed the Prophets.
balke woh to haq laaye hain aur unhon ne rasoolon ki tasdeeq farmai.
إِنَّكُمْ لَذَآئِقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَلِيمِ
Innakum lazaaa'iqul 'azaabil aleem
verily you are going to taste the painful torment
beshak tumhe zaroor dukh ki maar chakhni hai.
وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Wa maa tujzawna illaa maa kuntum ta'maloon
and you will be requited nothing except what you used to do.
to tumhe badla na miley ga magar apne kiye ka.
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
Illaa 'ibaadal laahil mukhlaseen
save the chosen slaves of Allah.
magar jo Allah ke chune hue bande hain.
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
Ulaaa'ika lahum rizqum ma'loom
those for them will be a known provision.
un ke liye woh rozi hai jo hamare ilm me hain.
فَوَٰكِهُ ۖ وَهُم مُّكْرَمُونَ
Fawaakihu wa hum mukramoon
fruits and they shall be honored.
mewe aur un ki izzat ho gi.
عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ
'Alaa sururim mutaqaa bileen
one another on thrones facing
takhton par hon ge aamne samne.
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِكَأْسٍ مِّن مَّعِينٍۭ
Yutaafu 'alaihim bikaasim mim ma'een
brought around unto them a cup from a spring.
un par daura ho ga nigah ke samne bahti sharaab ke jaam ka.
بَيْضَآءَ لَذَّةٍ لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ
Baidaaa'a laz zatil lish shaaribeen
white delicious to the drinkers.
safed rang peene walon ke liye lazzat.
لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌ
وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُونَ
Laa feehaa ghawlunw
wa laa hum 'anhaa yunzafoon
وَعِندَهُمْ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ عِينٌ
Wa 'indahum qaasiraatut tarfi 'een
and with them will be chaste women restraining their glances with wide and beautiful eyes.
aur un ke paas hain jo shohron ke siwa doosri taraf aankh utha kar na dekhen gi.
كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌ مَّكْنُونٌ
Ka annahunna baidum maknoon
as if they were pearl preserved.
barhi aankhon waliyan goya woh ande hain posheeda rakhe howe.
فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
Fa aqbala ba'duhum 'alaa badiny yatasaaa 'aloon
so will turn some of them to others mutually questioning.
to un me ek ne dusre ki taraf munh kya puchhte howe.
قَالَ قَآئِلٌ مِّنْهُمْ إِنِّى كَانَ لِى قَرِينٌ
Qaala qaaa'ilum minhum innee kaana lee qareen
a speaker of them will say: “verily I had for me a friend”.
un me se kehne wala bola mera ek hamnashin tha.
يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُصَدِّقِينَ
Yaqoolu A'innnaka laminal musaddiqeen
who used to say: “are you among those who believe?”
mujh se kaha karta kya tum use sach mante ho.
أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَٰمًا
أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ
A-izaa mitnaa wa kunnaa turaabanw wa 'izaaman
'Ainnaa lamadeenoon
قَالَ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ
Qaala hal antum muttali'oon
He said: “will you look down?”
kaha kya tum jhaank kar dekho ge.
فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِى سَوَآءِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
Fattala'a fara aahu fee sawaaa'il Jaheem
so he looked down and saw him in the midst of the fire,
phir jhanka to use beech bharhakti aag me dekha.
قَالَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرْدِينِ
Qaala tallaahi in kitta laturdeen
he said: “By Allah you have almost ruined me”.
kaha khuda ki qasam qareeb tha ke to mujhe hilaak kar de.
وَلَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبِّى لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُحْضَرِينَ
Wa law laa ni'matu Rabbee lakuntu minal muhdareen
had it not been for the grance of my Raub I would certainly have been among those are brought forth.
aur mera rab fazl na kere to zaroor may bhi pakad kar haazir kya jata.
أَفَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ
Afamaa nahnu bimaiyiteen
are we then not to die?
to kya hamen marna nahi.
إِلَّا مَوْتَتَنَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ
وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
Illa mawtatanal oola
wa maa nahnu bimu'azzabeen
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
Inna haazaa lahowal faozul azeem
Truly this is it is indeed the supreme success.
beshak yahi barhi kamyabi hai.
لِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ ٱلْعَٰمِلُونَ
Limisli haaza falya'ma lil 'aamiloon
for the likes of this let the workers work.
aisi hi baat ke liye kamyon ko kaam karna chahiye.
أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ نُّزُلًا
أَمْ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِ
Azaalika khairun nuzulan
am shajaratuz Zaqqom
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰهَا فِتْنَةً لِّلظَّٰلِمِينَ
Innaa ja'alnaahaa fitnatal lizzaalimeen
truly we have made it a trial for the wrong-doers.
beshak ham ne use zaalmon ki jaanch kya hai.
إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ تَخْرُجُ فِىٓ أَصْلِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
Innahaa shajaratun takhruju feee aslil Jaheem
verily it is a tree that springs in the bottom of the hell-fire.
beshak woh ek perh hai ke jahannam ki jarh me nikalta hai.
طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ
Tal'uhaa ka annahoo ru'oosush Shayaateen
its sprouts of fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils.
us ka shagoofa jaise dewon ke sar.
فَإِنَّهُمْ لَءَاكِلُونَ مِنْهَا
فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنْهَا ٱلْبُطُونَ
Fa innahum la aakiloona minhaa
famaali'oona minhal butoon
ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْبًا مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ
Summa inna lahum 'alaihaa lashawbam min hameem
then on top of that verily they will be given a mixture of boilling water to drink.
phir beshak un ke liye us par khawalte pani ki maloni ( milawat ) hai.
ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَإِلَى ٱلْجَحِيمِ
Summa inna marji'ahum la ilal Jaheem
then verily their return is to the flaming fire of hell.
phir un ki baaz gasht zaroor bharhakti aag ki taraf hai.
إِنَّهُمْ أَلْفَوْا۟ ءَابَآءَهُمْ ضَآلِّينَ
Innahum alfaw aabaaa'ahum daaalleen
verily they found their fathers on the wrong way.
beshak unhon ne apne baap dada gumraah paye.
فَهُمْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ
Fahum 'alaa aasaarihim yuhra'oon
so they on their footsteps made haste to follow.
to woh unhen ke nishaan qadam par daurhe jate hain.
وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Wa laqad dalla qablahum aksarul awwaleen
and indeed most of men of old went astray before them.
aur beshak un se pahle bahut se agle gumraah howe.
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ
Wa laqad arsalnaa feehim munzireen
and indeed we sent among them warners.
aur beshak ham ne un me dar sunane wale bheje.
فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ
Fanzur kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul munzareen
then see how was the end of those who were warded!
to dekho daraaye gayon ka kaisa anjaam huwa.
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
Illaa 'ibaadal laahil mukhlaseen
except the chosen slaves of Allah.
magar Allah ke chune hue bande.
وَلَقَدْ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٌ فَلَنِعْمَ ٱلْمُجِيبُونَ
Wa laqad naadaanaa Noohun falani'mal mujeeboon
and indeed invoked us Noah and we are the best indeed of those to answer!
aur beshak hame Nooh ne pukara to ham kya hi ache qubool farmane wale.
وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
Wa jajainaahu wa ahlahoo minal karbil 'azeem
and we rescured him and his family from the great distress.
aur ham ne use aur us ke ghar walon ko barhi takleef se nijaat di.
وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلْبَاقِينَ
Wa ja'alnaa zurriyyatahoo hummul baaqeen
and his progeny they are we have made the survivors.
aur ham ne usi ki aulaad baqi rakhi.
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
Wa taraknaa 'alaihi fil aakhireen
and we left for him among generations to come in later times.
aur ham ne pichlon me is ki tareef baqi rakhi.
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٍ فِى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
Salaamun 'alaa Noohin fil 'aalameen
peace salam upon Noah among mankind and jinns.
Nooh par salam ho jahan walon me.
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
Innaa kazaalika najzil muhsineen
verily thus we reward The Absulate Reckoner.
beshak ham aisa hi sila dete hain nekon ko.
إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Innahoo min 'ibaadinal mu'mineen
verily he was one of our slaves believeing.
beshak woh hamare aala darja ke kaamil-ul-imaan bandon me hai.
ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا ٱلْءَاخَرِينَ
Summa aghraqnal aakhareen
then we drowned the others.
phir ham ne dusron ko dubo diya.
وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ لَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ
Wa ina min shee'atihee la Ibraaheem
and verily among those who followed his way was Abraham.
aur beshak usi ke giroh se ibrahim hai.
إِذْ جَآءَ رَبَّهُۥ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
Iz jaaa'a Rabbahoo bi qalbin saleem
when he came to his Raub with heart a pure.
jabke apne rab ke paas haazir huwa ghair se salamat dil le kar.
إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُونَ
Iz qaala li abeehi wa qawmihee maazaa ta'budoon
when he said to his father and to his people, what is it you worship?
jab us ne apne baap aur apni qaum se farmaya tum kya pujte ho.
أَئِفْكًا ءَالِهَةً دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ
A'ifkan aalihatan doonal laahi tureedoon
is it a falsehood gods, other than Allah than you see?
kya bohtan se Allah ke siwa aur khuda chahte ho.
فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
Famaa zannukum bi Rabbil'aalameen
then what do you think about the Raub of the worlds?
to tumhara kya gumaan hai rab e alameen par.
فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةً فِى ٱلنُّجُومِ
Fanazara nazratan finnujoom
then he looked a glance at the stars.
phir us ne ek nigah sitaron ko dekha.
فَقَالَ إِنِّى سَقِيمٌ
Faqaala inee saqeem
and he said: “verily I am sick”.
phir kaha may beemaar hone wala hun.
فَتَوَلَّوْا۟ عَنْهُ مُدْبِرِينَ
Fatawallaw 'anhu mudbireen
so they turned away from him and departed.
to woh us par peeth de kar phir gaye.
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمْ
فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ
Faraagha ilaaa aalihatihim
faqaala Alaa taakuloon
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنطِقُونَ
Maa lakum laa tantiqoon
what is the matter, with you that you not speak out?
tumhe kya huwa ke nahi bolte.
فَرَاغَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَرْبًۢا بِٱلْيَمِينِ
Faraagha 'alaihim darbam bilyameen
then he turned upon them striking with his right hand.
to logon ki nazar bacha kar unhen daahne haath se maarny laga.
فَأَقْبَلُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ يَزِفُّونَ
Fa aqbalooo ilaihi yaziffoon
then they came towards him hastening.
to kafir us ki taraf jaldi karte aaye.
قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ
Qaala Ata'budoona maa tanhitoon
he said: “ do you worship what you carve?”
farmaya kya apne haath ke tarashon ko pujte ho.
وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
Wallaahu khalaqakum wa maa ta'maloon
while Allah created you and what you do.
aur Allah ne tumhe paida kya aur tumahre aamaal ko.
قَالُوا۟ ٱبْنُوا۟ لَهُۥ بُنْيَٰنًا
فَأَلْقُوهُ فِى ٱلْجَحِيمِ
Qaalub noo lahoo bun yaanan
fa alqoohu fil jaheem
فَأَرَادُوا۟ بِهِۦ كَيْدًا
فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ
Fa araadoo bihee kaidan
faja 'alnaahumul asfaleen
وَقَالَ إِنِّى ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّى سَيَهْدِينِ
Wa qaala innee zaahibun ilaa Rabbee sa yahdeen
and he said: “verily I am going to my Raub he will guide me”.
aur kaha mai apne rab ki taraf jane wala hun ab woh mujhe raah de ga.
رَبِّ هَبْ لِى مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
Rabbi hab lee minas saaliheen
“My Raub grant for me from the righteous”.
Elahi mujhe Laiq aulaad de.
فَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ حَلِيمٍ
Fabashsharnaahu bighulaamin haleem
so we gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy.
to ham ne use khushkhabri sunai ek aqal mand larke ki.
فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعْىَ
قَالَ يَٰبُنَىَّ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰ فِى ٱلْمَنَامِ
أَنِّىٓ أَذْبَحُكَ
فَٱنظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ ۚ
قَالَ يَٰٓأَبَتِ ٱفْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ ۖ
سَتَجِدُنِىٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
Falamma balagha ma'a hus sa'ya
qaala yaa buniya inneee araa fil manaami
anneee azbahuka
fanzur maazaa taraa;
qaala yaaa abatif 'al maa tu'maru
satajidunee in shaaa'allaahu minas saabireen
and when he was old enough to walk with him.
He said: “O my son!” verily I have seen in the sleep a dream
that I am slaughtering you;
so look what do you think?
He said: “O my father! do what you are commanded”
if Allah wills you shall find me of the patient.
فَلَمَّآ أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُۥ لِلْجَبِينِ
Falammaaa aslamaa wa tallahoo liljabeen
then when they had both submitted themselves and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead.
( 103 ) to jab un dono ne hamare hukum par gardan rakhi aur baap ne bete ko maathey ke bil litaya is waqt ka haal na pooch.
وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ أَن يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ
Wa naadainaahu ai yaaaa Ibraheem
and we called out to him that: “O Abraham!”
aur ham ne use Nida farmai ke ae ibrahim.
قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ ٱلرُّءْيَآ ۚ
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
Qad saddaqtar ru'yaa;
innaa kazaalika najzil muhsineen
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْبَلَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلْمُبِينُ
Inna haazaa lahuwal balaaa'ul mubeen
verily that is indeed the manifest trial.
beshak yeh raushan jaanch thi.
وَفَدَيْنَٰهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ
Wa fadainaahu bizibhin 'azeem
and we ransomed him with a great sacrifice.
aur ham ne ek barha zabiha us ke Fidya me de kar use bacha liya.
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
Wa taraknaa 'alaihi fil aakhireen
And we left for him among in later times.generations to come
aur ham ne pichlon me us ki tareef baqi rakhi.
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
Salaamun 'alaaa Ibraaheem
but peace upon Abraham!
salam ho ibrahim par.
كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
Kazaalika najzil muhsineen
thus indeed we reward the goog doers
ham aisa hi sila dete hain nikon ko.
إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Innahoo min 'ibaadinal mu'mineen
verily he was one of our believing slaves.
beshak woh hamare aala darja ke kaamil-ul-imaan bandon me hain.
وَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ بِإِسْحَٰقَ نَبِيًّا مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
Wa bashsharnaahu bi Ishaaqa Nabiyayam minas saaliheen
and we gave him the glad tidings of Isaaq a Prophet from the rightous.
aur ham ne use khushkhabri di Ishaq ki ke ghaib ki khabren batane wala nabi hamare qurb khaas ke sazawaron me.
وَبَٰرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسْحَٰقَ ۚ
وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌ
وَظَالِمٌ لِّنَفْسِهِۦ مُبِينٌ
Wa baaraknaa 'alaihi wa 'alaaa Ishaaq;
wa min zurriyya tihimaa muhsinunw
wa zaalimul linafshihee mubeen
وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ
Wa laqad mananna alaa Moosaa wa Haaroon
and indeed, we gave our grace to Moses and Aaron.
aur beshak ham ne Moosa aur Haroon par ahsaan farmaya.
وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
Wa najjainaahumaa wa qawmahumaa minal karbil 'azeem
and we saved them and their people from the great distress.
aur unhen aur un ki qaum ko barhi sakhti se nijaat bakhsh.
وَنَصَرْنَٰهُمْ فَكَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ
Wa nasarnaahum fakaanoo humul ghaalibeen
and helped them, so they became they the victors.
aur un ki ham ne madad farmai to wohi ghalib howe.
وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمَا ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ٱلْمُسْتَبِينَ
Wa aatainaahumal Kitaabal mustabeen
and we gave them the clear scripture.
aur ham ne un dono ko raushan kitaab ataa farmai.
وَهَدَيْنَٰهُمَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Wa hadainaahumus Siraatal Mustaqeem
and guided them the right way.
aur un ko seedhi raah dikhayi.
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
Wa taraknaa 'alaihimaa fil aakhireen
and we left for them among the generations to come in the later times.
aur pichlon me un ki tareef baaqi rakhi.
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ
Salaamun 'alaa Moosaa wa Haaroon
Peace upon Moses and Aaron!
salam ho Moosa aur Haroon par.
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
Innaa kazaalika najzil muhsineen
Verily thus we reward the good-doers.
beshak ham aisa hi sila dete hain nekon ko.
إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Innahumaa min 'ibaadinal mu'mineen
verily they were of two our slaves believing.
beshak woh dono hamare aala darja ke kaamil-ul-imaan bandon me hain.
وَإِنَّ إِلْيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
Wa inna Ilyaasa laminal mursaleen
and verily Elias was one of the Prophets.
aur beshak Ilyas paighambaron se hai.
إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
Iz qaala liqawmiheee Alaa tattaqoon
when he said to his people: “will you not fear Allah?”
jab us ne apni qaum se farmaya kya tum darte nahi.
أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًا
وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْخَٰلِقِينَ
Atad'oona Ba'lanw
wa tazaroona ahsanal khaaliqeen
ٱللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَرَبَّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Allaaha Rabbakum wa Rabba aabaaa'ikumul awwaleen
Allah your Raub, and the Raub of you fathers the early.
Allah jo rab hai tumhara aur tumahre agle baap dada ka.
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ
Fakazzaboohu fa inna hum lamuhdaroon
but they denied him so they will certainly be brought forth.
phir unhon ne use jhutlaya to woh zaroor pakrhe jayen ge.
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
Illaa 'ibaadal laahil mukhlaseen
except the chosen slaves of Allah.
magar Allah ke chone howe bande.
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
Wa taraknaa 'alaihi fil aakhireen
and we left for him among generations to come in later times.
aur ham ne pichlon me us ki Sana baqi rakhi.
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِلْيَاسِينَ
Salaamun 'alaaa Ilyaaseen
Peace salam be upon Elias!
salam ho Ilyas par.
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
Innaa kazaalika najzil muhsineen
Verily thus we reward the good-doers.
beshak ham aisa hi sila dete hain nekon ko.
إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Innahoo min 'ibaadinal mu'mineen
verily he was one of our believing slaves.
beshak woh hamare aala darja ke kaamil-ul-imaan bandon me hai.
وَإِنَّ لُوطًا لَّمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
Wa inna Lootal laminal mursaleen
and verily Lot was one of the Prophets.
aur beshak Loot paighambaron me hai.
إِذْ نَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ
Iz najjainaahu wa ahlahooo ajma'een
when we saved him and his family all.
jabke ham ne use aur us ke sab ghar walon ko nijaat bakhshi.
إِلَّا عَجُوزًا فِى ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ
Illaa 'ajoozan fil ghaabireen
except an old woman who was among those who remained behind,
magar ek burhiya ke reh jane walon me hui.
ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا ٱلْءَاخَرِينَ
Summa dammarnal aakhareen
then we destroyed the rest.
phir doosron ko ham ne hilaak farma diya.
وَإِنَّكُمْ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهِم مُّصْبِحِينَ
Wa innakum latamurroona 'alaihim musbiheen
and verily you pass by them in the morning
aur beshak tum un par guzarte ho subah ko.
وَبِٱلَّيْلِ ۗ
أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
Wa billail;
Afalaa ta'qiloon
وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
Wa inna Yoonusa laminal mursaleen
and verily Jonah was one of the Prophets.
aur beshak Yunus paighambaron se hai.
إِذْ أَبَقَ إِلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ
Iz abaqa ilal fulkil mash hoon
when he fleed to the laden ship.
jabke bhari kashti ki taraf nikal gaya.
فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُدْحَضِينَ
Fasaahama fakaana minal mudhadeen
he casted lots and he was among the losers.
to quraa dala to dhakelen howon me huwa.
فَٱلْتَقَمَهُ ٱلْحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ
Faltaqamahul hootu wa huwa muleem
then a big fish swallowed him while he had done a act worthy of blame.
phir use machhli ne nigal liya aur woh apne aap ko malamat karta tha.
`فَلَوْلَآ أَنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَبِّحِينَ
Falaw laaa annahoo kaana minal musabbiheen
had it been not that he was those who glorify.
to agar woh tasbeeh karne wala na hota.
لَلَبِثَ فِى بَطْنِهِۦٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
Lalabisa fee batniheee ilaa Yawmi yub'asoon
he would have indeed remained in its beliy the whale till the day of resurrection.
zaroor us ke pait me rahta jis den tak log uthaye jayen ge.
فَنَبَذْنَٰهُ بِٱلْعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌ
Fanabaznaahu bil'araaa'i wa huwa saqeem
but we cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick.
phir ham ne use maidan me daal diya aur woh bemaar tha.
وَأَنۢبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةً مِّن يَقْطِينٍ
Wa ambatnaa 'alaihi shajaratam mai yaqteen
and we caused a plant of gourd squash to grow over him tree.
aur ham ne us par kaddu ka perh ugaya.
وَأَرْسَلْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ مِا۟ئَةِ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ
Wa arsalnaahu ilaa mi'ati alfin aw yazeedoon
and we sent him to hundered thousand, or even more.
aur ham ne use laakh admiyon ki taraf bheja balke ziyada.
فَـَٔامَنُوا۟ فَمَتَّعْنَٰهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
Fa aamanoo famatta' naahum ilaa heen
and they believed and we gave them enjoyment for a while.
to woh imaan le aaye to ham ne unhen ek waqt tak baratne diya.
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلْبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلْبَنُونَ
Fastaftihim Ali Rabbikal banaatu wa lahumul banoon
then ask them are for your Raub daughters, and sons for them?
to un se poocho kya tumahre rab ke liye betiyan hain aur unke bete.
أَمْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثًا وَهُمْ شَٰهِدُونَ
Am khalaqnal malaaa'i kata inaasanw wa hum shaahidoon
or did we create the angels females while they were witnesses?
ya ham ne malaaika ko aurten paida kya aur woh haazir the.
أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنْ إِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُولُونَ
Alaaa innahum min ifkihim la yaqooloon
verily they are of their falsehood that they say;
sunte ho beshak woh apne buhtan se kahte hain.
وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَٰذِبُونَ
Waladal laahu wa innhum lakaaziboon
Allah “has begetter” and verily they they are liars.
ke Allah ki aulaad hai aur beshak woh zaroor jhute hain.
أَصْطَفَى ٱلْبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلْبَنِينَ
Astafal banaati 'alal baneen
has he chosen daughters over rather than sons?
kya us ne betiyan pasand kee bete chhorh kar.
مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ
Maa lakum kaifa tahkumoon
what is the matter with you? how do you deside?
tumhe kya hai, kaisa hukum lagate ho.
أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Afalaa tazakkaroon
will you not then remember?
to kya dheyaan nahi karte.
أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَٰنٌ مُّبِينٌ
Am lakum sultaanum mubeen
or is there for you a plain authority?
ya tumahre liye koi khuli sanad hai.
فَأْتُوا۟ بِكِتَٰبِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
Faatoo bi Kitaabikum in kuntum saadiqeen
then bring your scripture, you are truthful.
to apni kitaab lao agar tum sachey ho.
وَجَعَلُوا۟ بَيْنَهُۥ وَبَيْنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًا ۚ
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ ٱلْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ
Wa ja'aloo bainahoo wa bainal jinnati nasabaa;
wa laqad 'alimatil jinnatu innahum lamuhdaroon
aur us me aur jinnoo me rishta thahraya
aur beshak jinnoo ko maloom hai ke woh zaroor haazir laaye jayen ge.
سُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Subhaanal laahi 'ammaa yasifoon
Glorified be Allah from what they attribute unto him.
paaki hai Allah ko un baton se ke yeh batate hain.
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
Illaa 'ibaadal laahil mukhlaseen
except the slaves of Allah the chosen.
magar Allah ke chone howe bande.
فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ
Fa innakum wa maa ta'ubdoon
so verily you and those whom you worship.
to tum aur jo kuch tum Allah ke siwa pujte ho.
مَآ أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَٰتِنِينَ
Maaa antum 'alaihi befaaatineen
cannot lead astray you over him.
tum us ke khilaaf kisi ko bahkane wale nahi.
إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
Illaa man huwa saalil jaheem
except those who are to burn in hell.
magar use jo bharakti aag me jane wala hai.
وَمَا مِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
Wa maa minnasa illaa lahoo maqaamum ma'loom
and there is not of us but he has a known place.
aur farishte kahte hain ham me har ek ka ek muqam maloom hai.
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلصَّآفُّونَ
Wa innaa llanah nus saaffoon
and verily we angels stand in rows.
aur beshak ham par phailaaye hukum ke muntazir hain.
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلْمُسَبِّحُونَ
Wa innaa lanah nul musabbihoon
and verily we are they who glorify.
aur beshak ham us ki tasbeeh karne wale hain.
وَإِن كَانُوا۟ لَيَقُولُونَ
Wa in kaanoo la yaqooloon
and indeed they used to say;
aur beshak woh kahte the.
لَوْ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكْرًا مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Law anna 'indana zikram minal awwaleen
if that we had a reminder from the men of old.
agar hamare paas aglo ki koi naseehat hoti.
لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
Lakunna 'ibaadal laahil mukhlaseen
we would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah!
to zaroor ham Allah ke chune howe bande hote.
فَكَفَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ ۖ
فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
Fakafaroo bihee
fasawfa ya'lamoon
وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
Wa laqad sabaqat Kalimatunaa li'ibaadinal mursa leen
and verily! our word has gone forth for our slaves the Prophets.
aur beshak hamara kalaam guzar chuka hai hamare bheje hue bandon ke liye.
إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ ٱلْمَنصُورُونَ
Innaa hum lahumul mansooroon
that they verily surely they are the victorious.
ke beshak unhi ki madad ho gi.
وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ
Wa inna jundana lahumul ghaaliboon
and verily our hosts soldiers surely they are the victors.
aur beshak hamara hi lashkar ghalib aaye ga.
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ
Fatawalla 'anhum hatta heen
so turn away from them for a while.
to ek waqt tak tum un se munh phair lo.
وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ
Wa absirhum fasawfa yubsiroon
and watch them and they shall see.
aur unhen dekhte raho ke anqareeb woh dekhen ge.
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
Afabi'azaabinaa yasta'jiloon
do they seek to hasten on our torment?
to kya hamare azaab ki jaldi karte hain.
فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ
فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ
Fa izaa nazala bisaahatihim
fasaaa'a sabaahul munzareen
وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ
Wa tawalla 'anhum hattaa heen
so turn away from them for a while.
aur ek waqt tak un se munh phair lo.
وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ
Wa absir fasawfa yubsiroon
and watch they shall see.
aur intzaar karo ke woh anqareeb dekhen ge.
سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Subhaana Rabbika Rabbil 'izzati 'amma yasifoon
glorified be your Raub, The Raub of honor and power from what they attribute unto him.
paaki hai tumahre rab ko izzat wale rab ko un ki baton se.
وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
Wa salaamun 'alalmursaleen
and peace be upon the Prophets!
aur salam hai paighambaron par.
وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
Walhamdu lillaahi Rabbil 'aalameen
and all praise be to Allah the Raub of all worlds.
aur sab khoobiyan Allah ko saare jahan ka rab hai.
